The senile moron staring into space trying to reading Large-Font teleprompter text
The meteoric rise of young, sharp and educated Kamala Harris has made it clear to the American people that Donald Dumb is now suddenly the old incoherent fart of this campaign cycle. He's 79, so if he wins the election, which everyone with a brain agrees he will not, he'll be 80 in January when he is sworn in and 84 by the time he leaves office (if he ever agrees to a peaceful transfer of power). Which means that all the insults Donald Dumb hurled at Joe Biden are now his to own.
“Part of Trump is definitely about moving the country back and taking the country back, not moving it forward — taking it back to a time that people don’t want to return to. Age is a part of that,” said Anita Dunn, a longtime adviser to President Joe Biden. “But I don’t think age as a message against Trump is anywhere near as effective as what the vice president is doing right now, which is contrasting a positive vision of where this country can be versus Trump’s vision.
Some Democrats are relishing the fact that they can finally make an attack based on age after months of being forced to defend a historically old nominee. Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, 60, veered into overt attacks on Trump’s age at a fundraiser in Newport Beach, California, this week. He called Trump “low energy,” “tired” and the “guy that needs to get a little rest on the weekend.”
But harping too much on age could backfire among older voters. Age in and by itself is not a serious argument. Some 90+ year olds are as sharp as any younger person could be. But with 81-year Biden it was becoming visibly obvious that he was missing a step, a word, an idea increasingly frequently. Now Donald Dumb is genetically and educationally dumb. He's always been dangerously out there. Plus, he too, at 79, is beginning to show signs of dementia, which is why reasonable Americans should not risk handing out the White House to someone who is likely to continue declining in the Oval Office.
Harris herself is smart. She is addressing the age issue with more sensitivity. Trump’s age is the “cherry on top” of the vice president’s argument, said Paul Maslin, a top Democratic pollster. “You already thematically want to go to the future, but now you’re able to also point to a very real thing, which is how much confidence do you have in this guy’s [Donald Dumb] mental acuity, energy, overall health?” Maslin said. “Yeah, he can still play a decent game of golf. Okay, we’ll give him that. Is that enough?”
Trump keeps giving the American people reason to dig into his age: An incoherent tiresome 90-minute press conference in which he called Harris many names and then wandered off onto other topics from another era like Hillary Clinton. Other similarly freewheeling public appearances included an interview with Elon Musk, a presser in Mar-a-Lago and his disjointed speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee that was so long and boring that he broke many speaking time records, and which prompted hundreds of his tired MAGA idiots to begin leave the room before he even finished his ramblings because they had better things to do at home.
Even his supporters admit that “it’s probably an age-related” thing.
The contrast does not lie: a nearly 80-year-old, white, uneducated male crook and convicted felon from a German immigrant parents in stodgy New York versus an almost 60-year-old American of African and Indian immigrant parents, an educated female prosecutor from high energy California.
Many Americans were sick at the sight of two seniles - Biden and Trump - as their only options in the coming election. Now, the Harris-Walz ticket has gotten them out of the doldrums and the despression.
