Sexual Abuse by Christian "leaders" not Limited to Catholic Priests

Addendum:  As if Jesus himself read my post below on Paul Pressler, here's another "Christian" leader who let his hands and genitals wander into little children's underwear. This guy too was part of Trump’s Evangelical Executive Advisory Board. Now can you guess why Donald Trump was friends with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell?

Read all about it below:

Texas Southern Christian Baptist leader and Child Rapist Paul Pressler is finally 6-feet under.

Pressler is a Christian. Better yet, he is a Protestant Christian neanderthal from the American south, a leader of the Southern Baptist Convention and a reputed sexual predator with a preference for boys and who settled a lawsuit over the accusations against him (usually interpreted as an admission of guilt). After a lifetime of bigoted religious beliefs, he is finally rotting under the ground.

Pressler was one of the co-architects of the Southern Baptist Convention’s “conservative resurgence,” an effort in the 1980s that reshaped the direction of America’s largest Protestant denomination. Pressler and others pushed out more liberal leaders, helped forge an alliance between white evangelicals and Republican conservatism and focused on electing GOP candidates to public office. You can say that the cessspool that America has become thanks to Trump and the MAGA barbarians can be attributed in large part to dirty men like Pressler.

The Southern Baptist Convention has over 47,000 "churches", with a total membership of nearly 13 million acerebral faithful. As many as 200 of these churches are counted as “mega-churches” that look and feel like huge football stadiums where Jesus, not footballs, are thrown about. But the vast majority of these "churches" look more like delapidated abandoned houses in the poorest neighborhoods of the South and have less than 200 people in weekly worship. Most of the
Southern Baptist Convention churches are located in the backward southern U.S. states like Missi-pippi and Pennisseee.

As he once endorsed the candidacy of the failed idiot from Texas, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, Pressler said that about himself that he dedicated his life “to the conservative principles on which our country was founded,” which may or may not include raping boys, owning slaves, and otherwise discreetly frequenting brothels and prostitutes. If the televangelist Jim Bakker of the infamous PTL Christian Club (who used money he pilfered from his imbecile faithful to build himself a palace with an AC-equiped doghouse) was caught with his pants down in a motel with a prostitute, why would Pressler be any different?

Like Trump, Pressler scavenged on his stupid followers' fears to say things like "I think that people are genuinely upset with the directions [sic] in Washington. I believe if we do not have good people in Washington, we are not going to save our nation,” the scintillating Pressler said as he experienced a hard-on as he spotted a young blond boy in the audience.

Pressler’s religious career climaxed when a former assistant, Gareld Duane Rollins, revealed that Pressler has repeatedly raped him for 24 years - beginning when Rollins was 14 years old - after the two met at a Bible study group led by Pressler. Apparently, the Bible ordains that religious figures like Pressler have the right to engage in sinful sexual activities that are normally forbidden for ordinary Christian faithful.

One wonders why Rollins waited 24 years before speaking up about Pressler's reaching into his unmentionables. In any event, Rollins sued Pressler, the Southern Baptist Convention and others whom he alleged covered up or enabled Pressler’s behavior. At least seven other men also came forward with their own accusations against Pressler of sexual abuse, which makes numskull Southern Baptists equals to moronic Catholic priests in their preying on young boys behind the altar. But still, Catholic priests may use their so-called "vow of chastity" to justify their unfulfilled horniness toward their young victims. But what explanation do Protestant sexual predators like Pressler offer, since they can marry and legally quench their libido in their spouses' orifices as blessed by God himself in the sacred marriage union that is denied to Catholic priests?

The claims by Rollins prompted a major investigation by the Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express-News of allegations of sexual abuse in the Southern Baptist Convention. The series of stories revealed that top leaders had ignored or downplayed warnings about a sexual abuse crisis within the Protestant denomination. Sort of a southern sequel to the northeastern Boston Catholic priest sexual abuse scandal.

Though Pressler and his Southern Baptist Convention settled the lawsuit by Rollins by paing him a huge sum of money, Pressler denied the accusations against him and was never criminally charged. When the Southern Baptist Convention held its annual meeting last week, it did not even mention Pressler's name or his death; his sexual proclivities toward young boys would stand in contrast to the abysmally primitive opposition of these "Christians" to the LGBT+ movement.

Better yet, Pressler served in the Texas House as a representative of Houston in the late 1950s. In 1970, he was appointed as a state district judge, then as a state appeals court judge and served in that position until retiring in 1993. He was married to Nancy Avery Pressler and had 3 children.

If you like to read the salacious details of Pressler's career as a sexual predator, check the Sexual Misconduct section of his Wikipedia page in: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Pressler_(politician)]

That criminal bigots like Pressler manage to avoid justice in this country is a stain on this country.
