Drunkard Womanizing Ex Fakes News TV Imbecile Lectures Our Soldiers

The Nazi-MAGA idiot Pete Hegseth, formerly an entertainer at the mediocre Fakes News, is suddenly an expert on the subject of "Warrior Ethos". He would have to gulp a whole jug of Bourbon before he lectures US Army Generals.

Remember that he was appointed to the job by Draft Dodger Donald Lump who thinks that those who serve and die are suckers and losers, while those who are caught as POWs like John McCain are not war heroes and are losers because they got captured. He was not invited to attend McCain's funeral because he said, "We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral".

Now Hegseth did serve, but managed to avoid being a loser and a sucker by making sure he didn't die or get captured.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered hundreds of the military’s highest-ranking leaders to gather next week at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, for what the Pentagon is billing as a lecture on “warrior ethos.”

According to reporting by The Washington Post, the summons, delivered with little notice, applies to every one-star general and admiral in command positions, along with their senior enlisted counterparts. Attendance, officials were told, is mandatory; exceptions will be rare and require sign-off from top brass. The meeting is set for September 30, the final day of the government’s fiscal year.

Pentagon officials have released few details about the event beyond confirming that Hegseth intends to address the assembled commanders. His team has framed it as the first in a series of short, themed talks: this one on “warrior ethos,” with future sessions on the defense industrial base and deterrence planned in the months ahead, multiple sources told the Post.

“It’s meant to be an eyeball-to-eyeball kind of conversation,” said one source, described as a “person familiar with ongoing discussions” in the Post article. “He wants to see the generals.”

The directive, however, has sparked unease across military circles. Staff officers scrambled to arrange last-minute travel, while some lawmakers questioned the costs and optics of pulling so many senior leaders away from their posts simultaneously — especially on the eve of a potential government shutdown.

Per the Post, Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), an Army veteran, prepared a letter questioning the cost and potential security risks of pulling so many top commanders away from their posts on short notice. Her office began circulating the draft on Friday in hopes of securing additional Democratic signatures, while also pressing for a Pentagon briefing ahead of Tuesday’s meeting.

Also on Friday, Hegseth responded to a post on X from retired senior officer Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges comparing his planned address to Nazi-era political moves, writing, “Cool story, General.”

On Thursday, The Washington Post was first to report that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has summoned hundreds of military officials for a meeting at a Marine Corps base in Virginia next week. “The highly unusual directive was sent to virtually all of the military’s top commanders worldwide,” more than a dozen people familiar with the plan told the Post.

The meeting is the latest in a series of chaotic decisions that have come out of the Pentagon since Hegseth took the reins in January. Last week, the Defense Department released a memo stating that journalists covering the agency can no longer gather or report information, even if it is unclassified, without approval from the government. Days later, the department also announced Hegseth would shutter a committee created to expand the role of women in the military. And then, of course, who could forget Hegseth allegedly sharing highly sensitive information on an unsecure messaging app?

In the wake of this latest announcement from the Pentagon, I can tell you that behind closed doors, my former Republican colleagues on the Senate Armed Services Committee are likely asking themselves, “What is going on?”

The first major issue here is the sheer expense of such a meeting. The Trump administration likes to posture about how it wants to save money and fire people, and yet it’s going to spend likely millions of dollars to bring all of these military leaders in from around the world. That’s especially concerning given we’re facing a possible government shutdown.

Then there are possible security issues. Our country’s top military leaders will be in one place at a now highly publicized meeting. That should definitely raise concern.

But one of the most pressing issues that could stem from Hegseth’s meeting is the message of instability it broadcasts to the rest of the world. In Donald Trump, we already have a leader who is all over the map when it comes to military matters. First, he’s against Ukraine, then he’s for Ukraine; he’s against NATO, then he’s for NATO.

As retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling said on Thursday’s “Deadline: White House,” other countries around the globe would see this meeting as a “bright red light” — an indicator that something is going on with the U.S. military. That damages our image on the world stage.

The truth is, there is nothing Hegseth could say in that meeting that couldn’t be communicated to the troops more effectively and efficiently — and nobody knows that better than the leaders who are being called into Washington simply so the secretary can prove he’s in charge.
