The mentally-challenged MAGA Texan Ted Cruz is caught between maintaining a profitable attachment to his Fasicst boss Donald Dumb and trying to re-center himself as a moderate as he eyes the next elections. MAGA politicians have no principles.
How can this imbecile ask us not to see Nazism and Fascism in the manner MAGA operatives speak and act about everyone else who do not subscribe to Donald Dumb's racism, xenophobia, and hatred of non-WASPs in America?
How dare Cruz ask the Democrats not to demonize Trump and ICE?
Why doesn't he ask "his" president to stop demonizing, threatening, blackmailing, and hurling insults at the Democrats and even Republicans who disagree with him?
How can we not see Fascism in people who call the Democrats Marxists, Terrorists, Radical Left, etc....
Why doesn't Cruz publicly tell his beloved Fuhrer Trump to stop demonizing the Democrats. The political conservation is down the gutter because Trump took it there. If Cruz has any balls he would muzzle Trump's Radical Right, Fascist, Nazi, violence-laced language and policies against the Democrats. But whaddya expect from a little coward submissive imbecile from Texas who wants to play like the big boys?
If Trump was your average run-of-the-mill Republican, he would not have coined the term MAGA, just as Hitler distinguished himself from the German Conservative Party by coining the NaZi acronym (National Socialist German Workers' Party, in short form "Nationalsozialistische" or National Socialist).
But the traditional conservatives of the Republican Party have crawled at the feet of Trump for two reasons: He is popular (and they would not want to lose that part of the electorate), and they know he's an idiot and thought they could contain him. The German Conservatives too thought that Hitler was an idiot whose popularity they could exploit to their advantage while keeping him hemmed in. In both cases, it was the jaundice of the conservatives that propelled the criminal dictator to power.
Non-elitist democracy has this for a defect: It tends to elevate mediocrity to the very top of the political hierarchy because the electorate is largely stupid and uneducated and votes on emotion rather than reason. Those mediocre criminals with political ambitions lie to people and make false promises just to make themselves popular and win the democratic process, but then they turn around and do whatever the hell they want. Both Hitler and Trump have exploited this weakness in the democratic system. Both Hitler and Trump have militarized the political process: SA-Gestapo-SS... in Germany, ICE-CBP-ATF-FBI.... in the US.
In that sense, yes, Trump is a new Hitler.

Ted Cruz Rages at Democrats After Dallas ICE Facility Targeted by Shooter: ‘Your Political Opponents Are Not Nazis!’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) raged at Democrats for “demonizing” ICE following an attack on a Dallas facility on Wednesday morning.
Cruz joined law enforcement officers and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson (R) at a Wednesday press conference following the shooting where four people were shot and two died, including the gunman. Law enforcement did not confirm reports that the victims were detainees, but did say that no officers were harmed in the shooting.
Johnson pressed for “restraint” and “calm” while the investigation plays out, while Joe Rothrock, the FBI special agent in charge of the investigation, said “early evidence” showed there were “anti-ICE” messages written on the rounds found near the shooter.
Rothrock said the FBI is investigating the shooting as “targeted” violence. The same ICE facility was hit with a bomb threat a month prior, leading to a man’s arrest.
At the Wednesday press conference, Cruz blasted politicians who “demonize” ICE and push for agents to be “doxxed.” The senator mentioned the recent assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and pressed for politicians to stop throwing around words like “Nazi” to describe their opponents.
Cruz said:
This needs to stop. Violence is wrong. Politically motivated violence is wrong. It was two weeks ago today that we saw a political assassination in Utah that tore the heart out of much of this country. This is the third shooting in Texas directed at ICE or CBP. This must stop. To every politician who is using rhetoric demonizing ICE and demonizing CBP, stop! To every politician demanding that ICE agents be doxed and calling for people to go after their families, stop! This has very real consequences. Look, in America we disagree, that’s fine, that is the democratic process, but your political opponents are not Nazis! We need to learn to work together without demonizing each other, without attacking each other. And I want to say thank you. I want to say thank you to the brave men and women of law enforcement. I want to say thank you to the brave men and women of ICE and CBP and everyone who puts their lives on the to keep us safe. The divisive rhetoric tragically has real consequences.
Cruz acknowledged the motivation of the shooter is not known for a fact after a journalist brought up reports that the victims were detainees.
“My understanding is the details of who the victims are are still being ascertained, so I don’t want to go ahead of law enforcement releasing these details,” he said. “What they have said is that no law enforcement was injured, and so that’s a natural inference, but I don’t t know the details.”
FBI Director Kash Patel took to X on Wednesday to share a photo of the rounds found near the shooter.
“While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an ideological motive behind this attack (see photo below). One of the unspent shell casings recovered was engraved with the phrase ‘ANTI ICE.’ More updates will be forthcoming,” he wrote.
