Deported Illegal Right-Wing Racist Yiannopoulos, One pro-ICE, is Now Anti-ICE Brutality

The cruelty and hatred of pro-Trump assholes against immigrants suddenly switches to humane compassionate empathy ONLY when they become themselves the targets of such cruelty and hate and feel the same pain as millions of beaten, starved, shackled and deported immigrants.

Racist and xenophobic idiots must literally stand in the shoes of the immigrant victims of ICE-GESTAPO before they change their tune. In the case of this English-Greek Orthodox pro-Putin racist mongrel whose parents illegally immigrated to the UK, he was deported back to England NOT because he did overstay his visa (which he did), but only because fellow racist and heavily botoxed imbecile Laura Loomer did not like the fact that Yiannopoulos was stealing the spotlight away from her. He was deported because Laura Loomer ratted on him to ICE-GESTAPO.

Sometimes, it takes this sort of infighting within a cult like MAGA for the truth to emerge. ICE-GESTAPO brutality is now a fact because its supporters, not its critics, say it is. Notable metamorphosed and insincere repentant MAGA morons like Yiannopoulos include F(t)ucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene who are now both vocal critics of Donald Dumb.

Like Loomer, Yiannopoulos "rearranged" his looks. He went from Mediterranean-almost Mideastern southern European physiognomy (generally suspicious in the US) to a northern blond Aryan look to make himself more acceptable to his white supremacist American Nazi friends. 

Yiannopoulos was also openly gay for years, which did not sit well with the virile macho anti-gay MAGA hoodlums. So in 2021 he said that he had become straight - maybe saved by Jesus or Trump, like Hegseth. To back up his straight conversion, he claimed he was married to an American woman and had held a green card that was canceled without notice. His green card was canceled in all likelihood because he paid the woman to marry him and give him the green card, and having discovered what an asshole he was, the woman then denounced him to immigration. 

I advise US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to open up the immigration files of all US citizens who obtained their green cards and citizenships by paying unscrupulous US citizens to marry them (against a payment of several thousand dollars), give them their green cards, then divorce them two years later: USCIS will find a huge trove of such paid criminal marriages worthy of ICE raids and summary denaturalizations and deportations.

Deported right-wing pundit says ICE has 'institutionalized' brutality

Milo Yiannopoulos, a far-right provocateur who praised U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement before recently being detained by the agency, said in an interview Sept. 1 that his time in custody left him "weeping like an old woman."

Yiannopoulos, a native of the United Kingdom, became a prominent political commentator in the lead up to President Donald Trump's first term in office. Known as a whisperer of the alt-right, including neo-Nazis, Yiannopoulos delivered controversial speeches at university campuses where he railed against everything, from Islam to trans people.

The Briton was arrested Aug. 27 by federal agents in Louisiana after overstaying a visa. He had previously been issued a final order of removal after failing to show up for an immigration hearing in July. After being detained, Yiannopoulos was deported to the U.K. on Aug. 28.

"I didn't really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America," Yiannopoulos said in an interview with fellow British commentator Piers Morgan on "Piers Morgan Uncensored".

"It was physically degrading. It was frightening," he told Morgan. "I don't think I've ever been frightened like that before."

Yiannopoulos described immigration authorities putting him "in manacles," said they treated detainees like "MS-13 gang members" and said they kept moving him constantly in order to "keep ahead" of his lawyers.

"It hurts a lot more than it looks on television," Yiannopolous said.

USA TODAY has reached out to the Department of Homeland Security regarding Yiannopolous' claims regarding his treatment in ICE custody.

The right-wing commentator's deportation comes after he championed immigration enforcement efforts as recently as June 2025.

He called for ICE to set up checkpoints at everyday American gathering places where "anyone who can't prove they are in the US legally" would be subject to an "on the spot deportation."

Ex-MAGA devotee Milo Yiannopoulos was forced to answer for his past embrace of President Donald Trump's migrant crackdown after he found himself caught in ICE's deportation machine.

Yiannopoulos, 41, was detained by ICE agents at the New Orleans airport on Friday and deported to the United Kingdom the following day in a striking turn of events for the far-right provocateur, who had called on ICE last year to deport "millions and millions of people."

Piers Morgan cornered Yiannopoulos over his past support of Trump's deportation campaign during his show Tuesday, after Yiannopoulos complained about his ordeal at the hands of ICE and claimed he had legal status in the U.S.

Morgan rattled off several examples of Yiannopoulos cheering on the migrant crackdown.

"Punishing Somalis indiscriminately, as a group, and deporting them all, is the only way this administration will persuade the voters it is serious and up to the job," the English-born commentator wrote on X in December of last year.

"We have got to deport millions and millions and millions of people. Without that, nothing else matters," he declared in June of last year.

Last September he posted, "Total legal immunity for ICE agents when they're on duty," and, "Justice system should be just ICE."

Morgan, 61, drove home the irony: "So there you are, aggressively promoting ICE being very aggressive and demanding that millions of people be deported. People say, Milo, you've been hoisted by your own petard."

Yiannopoulos threw his hands in the air and said, "I don't have a word to say. You got me," before erupting in awkward laughter.

"I mean they're doing what you told them to do. Deport millions of people," Morgan said.

Yiannopoulos countered, "They're not doing it lawfully," to which Morgan reminded him that he had called for Somalis to be deported "indiscriminately."

"I'm obviously exaggerating there," the former Breitbart News editor claimed, adding, "ICE is supposed to deport criminals."

But Morgan pressed on, noting, "The problem you have, I think, in these tweets and public statements is that you weren't singling out Somali criminals, for example."

"So the argument against you goes, 'Well, Milo, you know, you didn't care about Somalis being legally or illegally there. You wanted them all thrown out."

Yiannopoulos, who has drawn criticism for his alleged ties to white nationalists, responded by baselessly claiming that the majority of Somalis in Minnesota are connected to "fraud."

Before Morgan confronted him over his hypocrisy, Yiannopoulos had spoken about how "frightened" he was during his deportation.

"I didn't really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America. The manner in which they arrest you, they put you in manacles, your hands, your feet, chained together," he said, gesturing toward his wrists as if shackled. "It hurts a lot more than it looks like on television."

Yiannopoulos also said he is "very ashamed" of his past support of Trump, calling him an "ugly, warmongering—taken as a whole—mentally ill heap of crazy."

The Department of Homeland Security said Yiannopoulos had "legally entered the country" in May 2019 but overstayed his visa and failed to appear for a July immigration hearing.

Yiannopoulos told Morgan that he was unaware of the hearing because officials sent notices to an outdated Florida address. The provocateur, who was openly gay for years before declaring in 2021 that he was straight, claimed that he was married to an American woman and had held a green card that was canceled without notice.

It's Fahrenheit 451 at US Public Libraries

The ultra-religious Taliban Puritans of Massachusetts banned Thomas Morton's New English Canaan in 1637 for its criticism of Puritan intolerance and its defense of Indigenous culture.

Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe was banned in 1851 by the southern slavery states.

James Joyce's Ulysses was banned in the 1920s.

Ernest Hemingway remains one of the most banned American authors. His works continued to be banned on and off from the 1920s and through our time. Fascist Italy and the US banned his Farewell to Arms in 1929. The Nazis burned his books in 1933.

Clay Risen's Red Scare was banned in the 1950s. We are living today an equally fake Trump-induced Red Communist hunt today. McCarthyism is encoded in the inbred non-immigrant American DNA stock.

J.D. Salinger’s 1951 The Catcher in the Rye has always been banned, it seems. It was the most censored book in American high schools and libraries between the 1960s and the 1980s.

Arthur Miller's The Crucible was banned throughout the 1980s in the U.S. for its perceived anti-Christian and anti-American tenor, including its suggestion that McCarthyism descends from the Salem witch trials in the late 1600s. Miller's books were also banned in the Soviet Union (beginning in the 1960s), which goes to show that the right-wing conservative extremist movement in the US promotes totalitarianism just as much as its theoretical enemy of left-wing extremist Communists.

Nowadays, the American conservative Neanderthals - variously known as MAGA, GOP, Evangelical morons, etc. - have been impulsed by Trump to attack libraries, science and knowledge. Who but a conservative American could coin a phrase such as "Ignorance is Bliss"? The American Library Association is currently reporting an onslaught of attempts to censor materials dealing with racism, homophobia, sexism, etc.

Remember that all conservative movements considered knowledge their worst enemy. The Catholic Church forbade the translation of the garbage bible from Latin into the vulgate languages (which would later become the modern European languages) because it feared that if people understood the bullshit the church was feeding them, they would rebel against it. And that is exactly what happened and led eventually to separating church and state, although conservative American morons who hate the Church for that same reason are today following in its footsteps: The more ignorant the herd, the more control they can have over it. 

It took four centuries (from Martin Luther's rebellion in 1517 to Vatican II in 1962-1965) for the Church to finally just begin to liberalize itself, but never enough it seems. 

Just like the Church, Islam also forbids praying in any other language than Classical (not natively spoken) Arabic. Native so-called "Arabic speakers" in the Arab world don't understand Classical Arabic and Muslims around the world pray in a language they don't understand. How is Islam going to evolve into the modern world?

Even leftwingers, once safely installed in their own cocoons, become conservative when a new wave of change appears. I was once attending a lecture at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on the subject of genetic research at the peak of the Human Genome Project around the year 2000. A venerable old professor by the name of Ruth Hubbard intervened demanding that DNA research be categorically banned. She later wrote about it in the Boston press. The following is my reply to her at the lecture and in a letter to the editor:

If you've never read Ray Bradbury's book Fahrenheit 451 or watched the movie, do so because this is the America that Trump's ICE-GESTAPO will grow to become if allowed to continue. (451 degrees Fahrenheit is the temperature at which book paper spontaneously ignites).

US public libraries at ‘breaking point’ amid ideological attacks, report finds

Public libraries in the US are "at breaking point" because of an onslaught of political interference, harassment and ideological censorship, a new report published on Tuesday said.

Book bans, cancelled story hours, attacks on librarians, funding cuts and the undoing of libraries' independent governance are examined by the free expression advocacy group PEN America in its study called Out of Circulation: Expanding Censorship in Public Libraries.

"Public libraries can be a foundational democratic institution only if they can speak to everyone and only if librarians' curation decisions can occur free from partisan pressure or restriction," the report, compiled by PEN America's Freedom to Read Project, said.

"However, ongoing political and public pressures are challenging these very principles. Public libraries nationwide are reaching a breaking point."

The 16-page document relates countless episodes and incidents across the US to support its assertion. They include verbal and physical attacks on librarians, disproportionate targeting of literature featuring LGBTQ+ people, a proliferation of bans on books dealing with gender identity and sexuality, and instances of politically appointed officials installed to override the policies of democratically elected library boards.

In one prominent example, the conservative activist and former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines was last year appointed to a library board in Sumter county, Tennessee, which repeatedly voted down a proposal by its chair to remove material she deemed "inappropriate or sexually-explicit, including anything with transgender themes".

Gaines, an anti-transgender voice who has taken rightwing positions on other issues, including supporting Donald Trump's often violent immigration crackdown, immediately used social media to brand such books "filth", and to denounce her new colleagues for "ignoring" Tennessee's ban on state funding for "woke gender ideology".

The report points to an Idaho law passed in March that allows city councils to hire and fire library directors, discretion previously granted to appointed library boards; and efforts in Alabama that would have allowed local governments to remove library board members at will, and without cause.

Another trend highlighted by the PEN America report is attacks on drag shows at, or promoted by public libraries. It chronicles bomb threats, protests and a physical assault on a librarian that caused the cancellation of events or story times at libraries in New York, Massachusetts and Nevada.

The group said it had also tracked almost 23,000 book bans in school libraries since 2021, and an expansion to the point where 51% of all book bans attempted nationwide, documented by the American Library Association, came in public libraries.

Among the materials banned, in a ruling later overturned by a Texas appeals court, were so-called "butt and fart" books objected to by some parents for their depictions of the human body and, in one case, a description of puberty.

Despite the court's ruling that public schools and libraries could not ban books just because they disagreed with their content, a branch head librarian in Llano county, Suzette Baker, was fired for insubordination when she refused to remove books on a list handed to her by her boss.

Kasey Meehan, PEN America's Freedom to Read director, said such "censorship" efforts reflected a growing, politically driven trend to control what is available to readers, and the ideas that are allowed to be represented.

"Local libraries nationwide have long been safe havens for the freedom to read and finding joy and comfort in books," she said.

"Increasingly, they are censorship battlegrounds. When libraries become targets, communities suffer. The consequences extend to authors whose books are taken off shelves and readers who are denied access to stories and information."

PEN America said it had followed "how a movement to censor wide-ranging literature in public schools, especially stories with LGBTQ+ characters and characters of color, has evolved over the past five years, snowballing from coordinated attacks led by groups like Moms for Liberty to state and federal legislation that curtails the right to read".

Philomena Polefrone, senior manager of the Freedom to Read project, said: "The same arguments that have inflamed censorship in schools are also eroding public libraries. These attacks rob library users of vital public services, access to books, and an affirmation that they have a place in their community.

"But wherever we see efforts to destabilize these vital public institutions, we also see communities organizing to protect their right to read, standing alongside their public librarians, and resisting funding threats from politically motivated decision-makers."

Evidence of a backlash came in Florida's primary elections this month, when numerous Moms for Liberty candidates lost seats or failed to win their races, and the conservative group lost its majority on the Sarasota school board.

NBC News’ Matt Bradley Recounts West Bank Attack on His Crew
"They jumped out, beat us, then jumped back in the car," the international correspondent recalls of masked Israeli settlers

NBC News international correspondent Matt Bradley detailed the attack on him and his crew in a report for the network, describing how masked Israeli settlers beat members of the team with sticks and rocks while they were reporting in the occupied West Bank.

Bradley and his team had been interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, a 51-year-old Palestinian woman who said Israeli settlers had driven her family from their home in Jalud, near Nablus, when a gray car with Israeli license plates approached the group.

At least four masked men identified as Israeli settlers emerged from the vehicle and attacked Abdullah and members of the NBC News team. "They jumped out, beat us, then jumped back in the car," Bradley said.

The assault was captured by the NBC News crew's camera, which showed one of the masked men swinging a stick at the camera operator before the camera fell to the ground.

Bradley said the attackers also damaged the crew's vehicle and knocked Abdullah unconscious.

"They smashed our car windshield, hit our crew with clubs and beat Aida unconscious," he noted. "We were able to get her to an ambulance, and our team was treated for minor injuries."

NBC producer Lawahez Jabari, who was also part of the crew, said she saw one of the attackers carrying a firearm. "Suddenly a car came to us. The settlers had sticks," she recalled. "I saw a gun, but they didn't use the gun."

Camera operator Khaldoon Eid, who lives in the West Bank, stated the crew had not expected to come under attack while reporting from the Palestinian village. "We didn't expect that — that they would come to attack," Eid said. "We were in the middle of a Palestinian area next to Palestinian houses.

Bradley said he was struck twice in the arm and was treated at a nearby clinic. Jabari, Eid and another member of the crew were also injured and received treatment.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence in Jalud and nearby Qusra, blaming a "handful of rioters." "I strongly condemn the criminal acts of violence committed in the villages of Qusra and Jalud," he said.

NBC News referred TheWrap to its digital report and declined to provide additional comment.
