White American Couple's Trove of Drug-Dealing Paraphernalia in the Heartland

Not migrants. Not immigrants. White as bleached can be, undeportable hardcore US-born Americans from the heartland.

                Molly Schlegel
                                Nathan Bantz

Two US-born white people with German last names from Iowa were arrested in Wisconsin for shoplifting AND possession of multiple drug-related items: 38-year-old Molly Schlegel of Postville, Iowa, and 39-year-old Nathan Bantz of Elgin, Iowa.

Can you guess who these people might have voted for in the 2024 presidential elections?

Both possessed a trove of drug items. This couple represents the REAL DRUG PROBLEM IN THE US: the demand side of the drug trade. Most drug crimes like this in the US are perpetrated by white US-born individuals. Yet, the government goes only after the drug cartels who supply the drugs because the cartels are "foreign", which in American culture is automatically suspicious and bad. But the US government treats those white entitled American citizens, who suck up the imported drugs and disseminate them to children across the country, with velvet gloves. A tap on the hand and off they go.

Officials found meth in Schlegel’s purse, along with hypodermic needles with residual meth and marijuana in Bantz’s possession. A Prairie Du Chien Police Department K9 assisted and alerted to at least one controlled substance in their vehicle, finding the following items, which shows how sophisticated these white US-born drug dealers are:

Meth smoking devices
Plastic bags
Digital scale

Charges were filed as follows:

Molly Schlegel

Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Retail theft – party to a crime

Nathan Bantz

Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of marijuana – 2nd offense
Operating while under the influence
Resisting
Retail theft

Bantz was also cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, open intoxicants and without a valid driver’s license.
