On Sunday, Aug. 3, Donald Trump's daughter Tiffany (from his ex-wife Marla Maples), shared photos from a family vacation with her husband, the Lebanese national Michael Boulos, whom she married in November 2022.
Michael's father is Mossad Boulos, a trucking and heavy machinery dealer whom Trump named as his Arab and Middle East Affairs Advisor, not because of his foreign affairs competence and skills, but mainly for having married his son to Trump's daughter and for buying up reluctant Arab-American Michigan voters for Trump, a move they have by now probably regretted.
As evidenced by Boulos's invisibility and lackluster performance behind Steve Witkoff and other active envoys to the Middle East, Trump's appointment of Boulos was just a reward and an act of cronyism.
Tiffany, 31, has just had a baby with Michael last May 15 whom they named Alexander Trump Boulos. Donald Dumb initially suggested that the boy be named Donald, but he had to settle with Trump as the boy's middle name.
Given the family history of the Trumps when it comes to divorces and adulterous affairs, (https://www.thelist.com/1383674/all-trump-family-members-who-have-been-divorced/), I do not see a long shelf-life for the Tiffany-Michael marriage. In addition to significant differences in the cultural backgrounds between the two, there is also the suspicion of a marriage of convenience between billionaire families whose men serve as political servants for the patriarch Donald. None of these aspects augur well for the long term survival of this new family.
