MAGA-GOP is now officially rebranded PPP = Pedophile Protection Party.
During convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s interview with Donald Trump's personal attorney (parading as Deputy Attorney General) Todd Blanche, she appeared to read from a teleprompter dictated to her by Blanche. She of course did what was expected of her: She gushed about convicted fraudster and seditious criminal Donald Trump.
The whole interview sounded well-prepped but sometimes odd, in particular how Maxwell referred to Trump. Without Blanche even asking her about him, she brought Trump up repeatedly in effusive language.
Maxwell first mentioned Trump early in the July 24 interview audio tape when she said she may have met him in 1990 in New York because her father “was friendly with him and liked him very much.”
Maxwell repeatedly referred to Trump as “President Trump” and she seemed to know exactly what Blanche wanted to hear her say. She, for example, commended Trump’s “extraordinary achievement” in being elected president again, and said he had always been nice to her.
It seems that Ghislaine Maxwell went into the interview knowing exactly what was expected of her to say, which raises suspicions that she may have been "trained" and "taught" what to say, in exchange naturally for some sort of benefit out of Trump.
Unsurprisingly, Maxwell did not implicate Trump in any nefarious activity. After her interview, she was moved to a low-security prison in Texas, which observers have called a step up. She is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, and is therefore expected to be pardoned by Trump at some point.
Observers noted how the interview recording and transcript were released. Andrew McCabe, the FBI's ex-deputy director commented on CNN, "There were no line agents or investigators in the room who could serve as witnesses to what transpired in an extraordinarily rare interview between a possible government cooperator and the deputy attorney general".
“It’s recorded and then immediately released to the public, which is not something you would ever do with the testimony of somebody who you were considering turning into a cooperator,” McCabe said.
“Nothing about this process was conventional or normal, but it does seem that both the administration and Ghislaine Maxwell got exactly what they wanted from it.”
Some among the MAGA herd of morons continue to deny that Trump is a much worse manipulator of information and facts than any of his opponents. All the conspiracies theories woven against people like Obama, Biden, Clinton, and only yesterday his very conservative former National Security Advisor John Bolton are a mirror reflection of the crimes Trump himself he has committed and continue to commit. He was taught by Roy Cohn to never admit to anything and to turn the accusations against him back onto his accusers, regardless of facts or truth.
Excerpts of Maxwell's comments - notice the frequency of the negatives with respect to Trump: "I don't know how or when, I didn't see, didn't hear, never witnessed, never recruited, didn't hire, don't recall, etc. - She never said anything negative about anyone else than Trump. You'd think that she might exonerate Trump by giving examples of other people doing bad things. But she didn't. The lesson Blance taught her to regurgitate was to deny ever seeing, hearing, doing or remembering anything. Well done, Ghislaine! Listening to you in the interview makes one wonder why you were given a 20-year sentence!
Maxwell said that she “never” saw Donald Trump receive a massage. She also said that she “never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way,” adding that, whenever she saw the president, he was “a gentleman in all respects”.
One notable point is that Maxwell denied ever recruiting masseuses from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club. “I’ve never recruited a masseuse from Mar-a-Lago for that, as far as I remember. I can’t ever recollect doing that,” she told Blanche. A reminder that Trump claimed his falling-out with Epstein stemmed from Epstein’s efforts to hire workers away from Trump’s Florida club.
Maxwell detailed the social relationship between Trump and Epstein, who cultivated a wide and powerful social circle for many years. “I don’t know how they met, and I don’t know how they became friends. I certainly saw them together and I remember the few times I observed them together, but they were friendly. I mean, they seemed friendly,” she said.
Maxwell also did not recall former US president Bill Clinton receiving a massage while travelling with Epstein.
Blanche said, on the record, that the conversation was not “promising to do anything” for Maxwell. He said that anything she said could not be used against her, unless she provided false statements or there was a retrial in her case.
According to Maxwell, Epstein did not have any video or photographic evidence of any high-profile individuals committing sexual offences. And to that point, Maxwell also said she didn’t hear or witness any instances of Epstein blackmailing powerful people.
Maxwell said she recruited a number of masseuses for Epstein but “never checked their age or credentials”. She added that, throughout her time with Epstein, she never heard any examples of “sexually inappropriate contact” between Epstein’s guests and in-house masseuses.
Despite her claims that Epstein did not extort anyone, Maxwell said she did not believe that Epstein died by suicide. She chalked that up to “mismanagement” at the Bureau of Prisons.
In the interview, Maxwell said she did believe that Epstein “did a lot of, not all, but some of what he’s accused of”. But she maintained that “he became that man over a period of time”.
Maxwell did not remember whether Trump submitted a letter for Epstein’s 50th birthday album, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. She also could not remember asking Trump to contribute.
Maxwell said Hillary Clinton did not associate with Epstein. When Maxwell was asked if Epstein “knew or had any sort of visit, dealings or associated with Hillary Clinton,” Maxwell responded: “I would say no.”
