It will be the sequel to the very successful First Genocide Fiesta of the 20th century with the colonial invasion by illegal European migrants (1920-1940), the forced expulsions of the indigenous Palestinian population from their ancestral lands by rape, killings, massacres, terror, and home and village demolitions (1940-1947), followed by the grand finale of dismembering historic Palestine with the creation of an artificial colonial entity known as the State of Israel (1948).
Millions of indigenous Palestinians were expelled from their lands, both within Palestine and outside where they have been living in squalid refugee camps. The aftermath of that catastrophe has been an unending series of a massive campaign of repression by the colonial authorities of attempts by the indigenous Palestinians to oppose and resist the slaughter, the dispossession, and the continued rape of Palestine by more and more European settlers. More lands were seized by the Europeans by either wars or under Israeli occupation in a programmed systematic campaign of demonization (All Palestinians are terrorists), dehumanization (All Palestinians are savages, subhuman animals, etc.), dispossession (home demolitions, villages razed to the ground, olive groves uprooted or burned), denial of identity (Palestinians, we are told by the colonial propaganda, are all "Arab" squatters who moved to Israel from Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon; The colonial prime minister Golda Meir, who was herself an illegal migrant to Palestine from Ukraine, once said, "there is no such thing as a Palestinian people").
The colonial European atrocities against the indigenous Palestinian population are too many and diverse, but the entire colonial project is premised on two absurd propositions, one religious, the other political-colonial:
1- RELIGIOUS: The land of Palestine, the colonial settlers say, belongs to them because their god, Yahweh, gave it to them some 3,000 years ago when their supposed ancestors were a band of stinking nomads wandering the Arabian desert. Indeed, if one is to believe the mythology and garbage written by these supposed ancestors on their goat-skin parchment, they claim to have been chosen by Yahweh as his favorite pet people who gave them license to invade and massacre all the indigenous Palestinian Canaanites that lived in Palestine back when the Bronze Age was turning into the Iron Age.
If people were to believe such garbage mythology, they should also believe the garbage of the Epic of Gilgamesh or the Scandinavian Sagas or the Hindu Vedas, Itihasas and Puranas, or the Greek Illiad and Odyssey or any other now-abandoned mythologies from around the world. In our time, only the Hebrew garbage mythology of the Torah is still considered "the word of the divine" by millions of people. Why? Because all three garbage mythologies of Judaism, Christianity and Islam are related by the cultural inbreeding of Semitic people in the Near East under the banner of monotheism, the belief in one god only rather than a multitude of gods.
Many idiots consider this evolution to be a major achievement when the fact itself of believing in any "gods" is a mark of primitiveness: As human cultures better understood the world thanks to the growing intelligence embedded in the human cerebral cortex, their thousands of gods (very ancient cultures) became hundreds of gods and demi-gods (Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans etc.) who were then gradually winnowed down to a handful and eventually stopping at one. Those of us who use their brains can already predict the next step in this trajectory: No god, which is the truth that is already spreading across all human cultures, as knowledge and science make us understand the real world and dispense with garbage myths from our past.
The Epic of Gilgamesh is a series of adventures and
stories from Mesopotamia that is antecedent to the garbage of the Torah,
the books of the colonial ancestors known as Hebrews whose wanderings
in the desert started from the heart of Mesopotamia in what is today
Irak. In writing the Torah and developing its fantastic fictional
self-serving stories, some of the contents of the Epic Gilgamesh were palgiarized by the hallucinating shamans of the nomadic
Hebrews.
Along with stories from the Epic of Gilgamesh, the wandering Hebrew
bedouins also carried other myths and fictional fantasies from around
the region. In the Torah, Yahweh - who had many names like El and Baal,
is said to have demanded that one of his so-called prophets by the name
of Abraham sleep with his maid, miraculously impregnate his
100-years-old wife, take her son and slit his throat as proof of
loyalty. Stories like Cain who killed his brother Abel because El-Yahweh
favored Cain who offered him meat while disapproving of Abel who
offered his vegetables. I guess El-Yahweh was a carnivore and not a
bio-oriented vegan. El-Yahweh then decided to kill all people on earth,
except a few of his favorites, so he caused a flood that drowned all
life. Then Yahweh splits an ocean to allow his pet people to flee their enemies on whom he rained frogs and killed thousands of their innocent babies. The relevant story in all this garbage is that Yawheh ordered - like Donald Trump today orders - that his pet Hebrew people go massacre another innocent people, the Canaanite Palestinians, and take their land.
The religion of Judaism organized the garbage of the Hebrews into a religion. Then a Jewish sect, the Christians, emerged to say that it has found a new prophet called Jesus who is Yahweh's son, who was mysteriously conceived without physical semen or penetration inside the uterus of a virgin, and whom Yahweh sent to be tortured and killed, only to resurrect him from the dead. All of this is because, hear this, humans are creations of Yahweh himself in his own image, i.e. who look like him, but who for some reason are also filthy sinners. (Is yahweh then a sinner, would ask a Socratic Greek?). Then Yahweh deliberately sent this mythical son to be tortured and killed, then resurrectied from the dead to save us from his own creation, ourselves. Despite millennia of this garbage running around in human cultures, nothing has changed. We still kill and steal and cheat despite all the claims that religions will make us better. We still have not seen one evidence of eternal life, much promised to those who believe the garbage. Religions never made us better and they never will. In fact, religion poisons everything; it is used to brainwash people into hating other people; and is more often than not the direct cause of atrocities and wars.
Then a third manifestation of the same monotheistic crap emerged in a third religion known as Islam. Here, the self-proclaimed prophet Mohammed came out of the city of Mecca, not far from Ur and Jerusalem - I tell you this monotheistic trash was all composted in the desert, in a small restricted area of the world. What a coincidence! Mohammed thought 'Ok, all these prophets who preceded me are fine. I believe in them. I get their garbage. But I'm gonna improve on it' and he launched his new religion which was more of a military-political campaign to conquer and subdue by force of arms. There is less mysteries, metaphysics, supernatural, miracles and fantasy in Islam than there are in its Jewish and Christian siblings, although it does claim that Mohammed rose to the heavens on a winged horse from Jerusalem.
Sociologically, Islam is a copycat rebranded version of the Jewish religion: It kept intact all the rituals and beliefs of Judaism (one god, circumcision, no pork eating, dual texts - Torah-Talmud in Judaism, versus Koran-Hadith in Islam, memorizing scriptures while bobbing one's head.... etc.) The reason is that Mohammed himself grew up in an environment where all people were Semites belonging to different tribes, but who believed the same things. He might as well have been a Hebrew himself or at least he grew up bathing in a Hebraic-dominated culture. Pre-Islam Arabs were essentially Hebraic in their traditions: They did not eat pork, they circumcized their sons, etc. Islam altered very little in the lives of these otherwise Hebraic "Jewish" people.
Mohammed particularly hated the new religion, Christianity, because he felt it departed too far from its Hebraic roots, including its "association" of God with other deities, i.e. a return to polytheism. He couldn't accept that God had now a wife, a mother, a son and a whole court of saints and disciples. In fact, he was right: Christianity is what it is because it escaped the Semitic world. It was born inside, but on the fringes of, the Roman empire and was quickly exported to the political capital of the empire, Rome, where it was westernized by adopting the polytheisic structure of the Roman religion. As he saw it from the middle of his Arabian peninsula, Mohammed felt that these polytheist "Mushrikun" (i.e. "associative" in that they associate other deities with the one God) of the Christian Byzantine empire were encroaching on his territory and threatening his Judaic-Hebraic traditions. Note that there already was a Christian Bishop in Mecca at the time, circa 600 AD, which explains in part that Mohammed's mission was less on dogma and more on politics. Islam is thus a political return to Judaism which Mohammed felt was threatened by the new Christian religion.
Enough of this history of the monotheistic garbage.
2- POLITICAL: The political genesis of the colonial project in Palestine begins with wealthy bankers in the late 19th century central Europe. It was fashionable at that time for a wealthy European to join in the orgy of colonizing the rest of the world with the mission of "civilizing the primitive savages". Wealthy bankers lived in the midst of Empires: the French Empire, the British Empire, the Belgian Empire, the Dutch Empire, the Spanish Empire, the Turkish Ottoman Empire... Leopold II of Belgium absconded with the entire country of the Congo in central Africa and turned it into his own hunting ground and sadistic playground: He'd kill elephants, then cut the hands of the indigenous Africans who wouldn't obey. The wealthy bankers met in the Swiss city of Basel and decided to have their own little colony somewhere in that uncivilized third world: Not only could they run amok with the natives but they could steal their resources and make lots of money. They hesitated between Argentina, a huge largely uninhabited expanse in South America with lots of land, but which was far and had no indigenous people to mistreat, Uganda in central Africa with lots of people to torment and lots of resources to steal but there were too many colonial competitors, and lastly Palestine which was densely inhabited by lots of indigenous people to torment but not many resources, except that it was a few hundred miles away from the recently disovered oil fields in the Arabian peninsula.
And the cudgel fell on Palestine. At the time Palestine was occupied by the declining Turkish Ottoman Empire. Soon, however, the Ottoman Empire collapsed, and the British colonial crooks took it over. During the 1914-1918 war, the British needed money to fund their war machine. The wealthy bankers from Basel made a deal with the British: We'll give you money, you give us Palestine. And so a crook minister by the name of Balfour declared in 1917, one year before the final Ototman retreat from Palestine, that Palestine will be given to the wealthy bankers from central europe. And the invasion began, mostly illegal migrants arriving by boats and landing on the shores of Palestine. On the surface, the British pretended to interdict these illegal migrations while encouraging them in secret per the deal. The indigenous Palestinians began a movement of resistance, which led to a civil war between the natives and the illegal colonial settler terrorists for most of the 1920s and 1940s. But the bankers had lots of money and were sophisticated upper class crooks with means and weapons, and they had the backing of the occupying British. The civil war ended in 1948 when the illegal migrants perpetrated a wholesale massacre of the indigenous Palestinians and sent millions of them into refugee camps inside Palestine and outside Palestine in the neighboring countries of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt.
Unlike all these countries that had obtained their independence from the Turkish Ottomans, the Palestinians were denied that independence and their country was ravaged by the incoming colonial settlers who created the Jewish colony in Palestine known as Israel.
As we write these lines, the colonial settlers of Palestine are preparing for a final onslaught on the remaining indigenous Palestinians who have continued to resist the theft and occupation of their ancestral lands by foreign migrants. After bombing Gaza and exterminating 65,000 Palestinian men, women and children, then starving the remaining 2.2 million hemmed inside a large concentration camp, Benjamin Netanyahu is about to launch yet another war of extermination, which he hopes will be the last since he is also plundering the West Bank.
The Grand Genocide Fiesta II of 2025 will be aired lived, unlike its first 1948 version. Back then the European settlers had a monopoly on the information: Pro-settler newspapers turned savagery and extermination into a civilizing mission: They said the Palestinians were uncultured peasants who did not take good care of their land, but we the European settlers will develop the land and turn the desert green. Netanyahu to this day continues to claim that his genocidal colony's ultra-religious Jewish barbarity is somehow better than the ultra-religious barbarity of the Palestinians, and he is doing a service to the Christian West by "civilizing" the backward Arabs with missiles, bombs, starvation and other refined Jewish peace traditions.
It is unfortunate that all those countries, nations and organizations that enabled the rape of Palestine over the past 100 years are only now taking action. Why wasn't a Palestinian state recognized by France, the UK, Canada etc. 10, 20 or 30 years ago? Why show some courage only now, when it is almost too late, in the face of the vicious moral blackmail that Zionists have perpetrated by investing all their barbarian marketing ploys in the Holocaust.
It is indeed too late, and the time for making a difference no longer exists.
Palestine will soon be erased from the maps, the Palestinian people will be a shredded nation dispersed in hundreds of refugee camps, and the world will spend the next 100 years hypocritically and academically discussing if the rape of Palestine by the last colonial criminals was technically a "genocide". Will Israel at some point admit to the genocide? Or will it, like Turkey, continue to reject claims that it caried out the Armenian genocide.?
