"Lady" Lindsey Graham is Visiting Deeply Religious and Homophobic Beirut

Today, closeted gay man Lindsey Graham is visiting Beirut, Lebanon, where he will join with US envoys Tom Barrack and Morgan Ortagus who have been shuttling between Washington, Tel Aviv and Beirut for months trying to secure a deal between Lebanon and Israel.

Now Lady Lindsey Graham hates Lebanon (and by extension all Arabs) and loves Israel. Lady Lindsey's positions on the Israel-Palestine issue is well known and he has never shied away from publicly expressing it. He is for Israel's continued expansion into Palestinian lands, he is for the continuation of the genocide in Gaza, ... everything that the ultra-religious Jewish right-wing Kahane terrorists Ben-Gvir and Smotrich want to do in Palestine, Lady Lindsey supports.

Why would the Lebanese consider Lady Graham someone to talk to is a mystery. Maybe they have to. The Lebanese government, which for the past 50 years has been - thanks to its Muslims - an incompetent international beggar and will kiss the ass of anyone dangling a few dollars before their eyes. You see, Lebanon's political establishment has perfected the art of invoking pity by playing the victim to get money then steal it. So even if an extremist right-wing US senator wishes to visit, they will let him in. Then, the Lebanese remain a very conservative ultra-religious bunch who exploit religion for political reasons. Drive around the country and you'll be swamped by mosques blaring Muslim prayers all day long in the face of Christian neighborhoods, and by Christian churches tolling bells and blaring masses and services out of loudspeakers out of spite, and in the face of, the Muslims.

You see, because of Israel, the region has been set back centuries. The ultra-religious nature of the justification for the re-creation of a state that once existed for 300 years some 3,000 years ago has catapulted the various nations of the region into a race to the bottom of the religious cesspool barrel. Colonial ultra-religious Jewish Israel has catalyzed the rise of Islamic fundamentalism as a platform for resisting colonialism, especially after rejecting and undermining an earlier secular Palestinian resistance during the 1960s-1980s. Rising Islamic fundamentalism has in turn caused the Christians of Lebanon, once a very liberal open community, to recede back into their own Christian fundamentalism in reaction.

To me, it's a stunning picture to see a closeted gay Evangelical barbarian from the southern pro-slavery state of Georgia visit the religious neanderthals of Lebanon.
