The American folkore of
mass shootings in the US is generally celebrated as a homage to the
freedom of owning guns and shooting strangers. Americans are so proud of
this liberty that they have it enshrined in the constitution.
So
whenever a mass shooting festival erupts spontaneously, the race is to
find out if it has beaten previous records. Unfortunately for
Minneapolis, their festival yesterday yielded only one dead and six
wounded, which pales in comparison with the Las Vegas Strip massacre in
which, on October 1, 2017, a gunman opened fire on a crowd at a concert
in Las Vegas, killing 58 people and injuring over 500 others. This is
now the record to beat, and the NRA is holding workshops on how to
improve one's ability at killing the most people with a single machine
gun.
Now that is a crime that Trump deliberately ignores. He
doesn't want to upset his stupid violent MAGA minions who love their
guns more than they can care for other people's children. Should be
dispatch the National Guard? But where? Guns are everywhere. Still, I
think he should declare a nationwide emergency, impose martial law, raid
homes and confiscate guns, even at the risk of alineating his KKK, NRA,
GOP, MAGA, etc. base.
Minneapolis Police Chief, Brian O'Hara, declared that the bloody festival in his city was "unacceptable and sickening", while Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey assured the city that he will "dedicate every resource necessary" to finding the shooter. Both know they are lying to their people because they can't change the second amendement to the constitution which allows any dumb American to buy a gun and go kill people.
Then all these American youngsters who spend half of their waking hours alone watching disgusting gory Hollywood movies and playing violent video games, which for the most part involve shooting other people. When you hail from a dumb ignorant society that makes heroes out of criminals (hence our dear president Trump), the line between reality and fiction is very blurred.
Let the Great American Mass Shooting Festival go on!

Minneapolis police say one person died and six others were injured in a shooting Tuesday on the city's south side.
A gunman armed with a high velocity rifle opened fire on a group of people around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday near East 29th Street and Clinton Avenue, near Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, in the Phillips neighborhood, according to Minneapolis PD.
During a Tuesday afternoon press conference, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara called it a "deeply troubling act of violence." He said investigators are doing everything possible to identify who is responsible for the shooting.
"This level of firepower, unleashed in broad daylight, is completely sickening and unacceptable," O'Hara said.
