Calls Mounting in the International Community to Boycot the World Cup

A raging debate is emerging across the international community to boycot this summer's football World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, as a way to express outrage at Donald Dumb's insults and expansionist agenda.

But with FIFA kissing the ass of Donald Dumb with a fake "peace prize" to please the American dictator, it is difficult to see FIFA taking any action toward a boycott. "Decisions on participation in or a boycott of major sporting events are the sole responsibility of the relevant sports associations, not politicians," the German Minister Schenderlein said in a government statement on Monday. She said the assessment was up to the respective federations, naming the German Football Federation (DFB) and world governing body FIFA.

A government spokesman said on Monday that if the German national team was involved it was not up to the government to decide on the participation of the team at competitions.

There have been boycott calls in Germany and many other European countries in retaliation for Donald Dumb's policies regarding Greenland and his conduct on the domestic front, with a second fatal shooting on the weekend by US immigration officers.

Christian Democrats foreign policy expert Jürgen Hardt had recently raised the boycott issue should the US annex Greenland with or without the use of the military. The possibility remains that a desperate Trump might use military force, even if symbolic, to seize the Danish territory.

DFB (German Football Association) vice-president and St Pauli chairman Oke Göttlich called to at least have a debate on the boycott issue last week, telling the Hamburger Morgenpost paper "that for me the time has definitely come." But the conservative German barbarians, like Bavarian Prime Minister and Christian Social Union party chief Markus Söder who love Trump and his Nazi-like policies, dismissed a possible German team World Cup boycott as "absolute nonsense".

The fact that Canada and Mexico are also partners with the US in hosting the World Cup, there is less pressure for a boycott as it will also punish these two countries.

But serious questions continue to be raised concerning who Trump and his racist immigration and xenophobic administration will allow to enter the US for the event. Upwards of 70 countries are banned by Trump from obtaining visas to enter the US. How will these people be treated if they choose to attend as players on national teams or as visitors and fans remains in question.
