It's so easy to fool a largely ingorant and dumb American people. Throw a shiny object in their infantilized faces and they forget what they were doing one second before.
Epstein Files, Epstein Files.... it's been going on for months without a resolution. Trump refused, then reluctantly agreed. His Bondi slave delayed, procrastinated, distracted, held up.... but the voyeurist MAGA world who loves Trump wanted the salacious details. It wouldn't go away. So Trump tried Nigeria. He tried Syria.... but the ghost of his pedophile partner Jeffrey Epstein wouldn't budge. So Trump had to up the diversionary dial one notch: Venezuela and Maduro.
No one is talking anymore about the Epstein Files. Trump won this one, and the asinine US public opinion lost.
As I said many times on this blog. That has long been the strategy of Republican administrations. They run the country to the ground with bad economics, enriching themselves and scandals, then start a war somewhere against some bad foreigner. "Foreigner" is a bad word in America, even though almost everyone began there as a foreigner, one or two generations removed. But to drill the hostility deeper into the American DNA, they came up with Alien. Now being from Canada or from Siberia is just like being from Mars.
This way, they rally the brainwashed, trained and domesticated asinine and largely xenophobic American people around the flag. It doesn't matter if the war is justifiable or not, what matters is to dangle a shiny US flag on TV and the American people forget the crimes of their leaders and feel a patriotic obligation to do so. Warmongering is based on fearmongering.
