President Herzog lies when he says Israel continues to seek peace with neighbors. Before his neighbors, he should make peace with the Palestinians whom he is dehumanizing and killing and will soon expel them out of his fucking "Eretz Israel".
Suddenly, and after unleashing his army's brutality on defenseless Palestinians for one whole year, Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced that he intends to overcome hatred in the region.
"We have not abandoned our deep longing and
pursuit of peace with our neighbours," Herzog said in a speech. "We are a
people with the strength to rise against hatred time and again." Perhaps he should rise against his own hatred to the native population of the country he has invaded and conquered by violence.
He
noted that tens of thousands of internally displaced people still
cannot return to their homes, and worldwide, anti-Semitism has emerged
following the Gaza War, ignoring the 42,000 innocent Palestinians killed by his own army.If anti-semitism is raising its head again, it is because people around the world have finally discovered the violent and supremacist nature of the Jewish people. Little did people know about the birth of Israel other than the false narratives disseminated by the Zionist propaganda with the monopoly it had on information. But now that the words have been liberated, now that the libraries and archives of the world are available at a click by a finger, people are witnessing firsthand that Israel "gained its independence" using the same brutality and savagery it is now perpetrating in Gaza. The Gaza War is a retrospective of the Israeli War of Independence: evictions, rapes, demolitions, expulsions, erasing entire villages from existence, etc. for a native indigenous Palestinian population that had done nothing to the European Jews who massacred them.
May the State of Israel repent for its crimes, apologize to the Palestinians and give them back some of their land so they can live in dignity as free human beings. October 7, 2023 should be a wake-up call to the moral fiber - if any is left - of the Israeli people.
President Herzog did not address the racist comments by radical extremist Zionists that have peppered the past year against the Palestinians. He failed to mention the genocide his army is carrying out in Gaza, or the war his extremist terrorist government is conducting in Lebanon. He did not say that his prime minister is a war criminal that is causing war after war in order to stay in power and avoid retribution from justice. He did not say a word about the rights of the Palestinian people and how he plans to make peace with them. How doesw he plan to remove hatred from the hearts of his own people against their own victims.
No one has a monopoly on ethics and morality. Especially not the foreign colonial conquerors and ocupiers of Palestine.
