American Seniors: Time to Freak Out over Your Final Years

By funding Donald Dumb's campaign with $250 million, the racist South African Nazi, Elon Musk, has essentially bought himself access to every American senior's medical and financial records in Social Security and Medicare.

It may be that all, or most, employees in these two federal administrations have access to your information. But these people are civil servants who were vetted by strict background checks and who are controlled within a solid regulatory environment, and your personal and private data are generally considered very well protected. Oversight by your elected members of Congress ensures that these federal administrations remain within the bounds of the law and their civil servants abide by the oath they make to serve.

Not anymore. Your information is now in the hands of an unelected private entrepreneur thug - one Elon Musk - with not a single tether to the law or to the ethics of governance. He has gathered an army of teenage hackers who are invading federal agencies and administrations and stealing US citizens' personal, private and confidential information.

What for? Supposedly they want to cut wasteful spending - yes, your retirement benefits, which you have funded with your own taxes over your long years of careers and jobs, are considered "wasteful spending" by rash, reckless and criminally-minded inexperienced young tech hackers. So, in fact, Elon Musk is now scavenging through your information and personal data and feeding it through not-so-intelligent algorithms with insidious intentions.

What most people don't understand is that every time you open an account on X, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, etc... you are giving these companies free of charge the raw materials - your own personal data - with which to run their multi-billion dollar businesses. Some of you even pay to become "members", so you are essentially paying them money AND giving them your personal information. You'd have to be stupid to do this. It's as if you open your house to people you don't know and let them rummage through your files, records, photos, and everything about your life. And you do this every day!

Here are the top 10 expenses for a Manufacturing Business, based on the tax returns of 386,484 sole proprietors operating in the manufacturing industry. (From: https://www.projectionhub.com/post/10-manufacturing-industry-financial-statistics):

Expense as a % of Revenue

Material Costs - COGS 42%
Other business expenses 9%
Salaries and wages 8%
Labor Cost - COGS 5%
Depreciation 4%
Supplies 4%
Rent paid on other business property 4%
Car and truck expenses 3%
Utilities 2%
Contract labor 2%

Therefore, about 50% of an average company's expenses goes to buying the raw materials needed to make a product. Labor costs are at most 15%.

For the tech companies who are essentially living inside your home (when you open an account with them), they have no materials costs. Their materials are your personal, private and confidential data, and you give it to them for free and some of you even pay them a premium. Hence, you can imagine that if their cost of running their business is very little, their profits are astronomical. And that is not the end of it.

Now these companies have all gone to bed with the orangutan dictator in the White House and he has given them the keys to the kingdom and more of your personal, private and confidential information (social security numbers, bank accounts information, medical records, etc.), which other giant allied corporations (health care, insurance, etc.) will use to decide whether you are eligible or deny you services, healthcare, isurance, etc.) . He will soon be slashing their taxes and make them even more wealthy and in control of your lives, while his stupid tariffs will substantially increase your own costs of living.

If you've voted for Trump, you didn't necessarily vote for Musk. But Musk has now been appointed to a fabricated government agency called DOGE and given free rein over computer systems throughout the federal government that are normally handled by highly trained people who’ve cleared thorough background checks. But in Trump’s world, things like “rules” and “norms” and “laws” are for suckers and losers.

According to Colbert King of The Washington Post, Musk's hijacking of federal systems goes like this, “Musk and his hirelings are gaining access to vast amounts of privileged and restricted government information on a scale unseen in our nation’s capital. The Treasury Department, where I once worked, has given DOGE license to scrutinize federal payment systems that annually disburse trillions of dollars in government expenditures. The systems also contain a trove of sensitive information about hundreds of millions of Americans ‒ information that private commercial interests and foreign governments would pay dearly to get their hands on.”

According to Max Richtman, head of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, “Social Security beneficiaries and their families have every reason to be alarmed by Elon Musk’s takeover of the U.S. Department of Treasury’s payment system, which is responsible for paying Social Security benefits. The unelected billionaire, who has no legal role in the U.S. government but heads Trump’s unofficial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and his newly-installed minions in the Treasury Department, now have access to the personal information of every Social Security beneficiary ‒ and the ability to stop payments for any federal programs they dislike.”

It’s likely that much, if not all, of what Musk has been doing is illegal. But what is certain is that it is very dangerous.

A lawsuit has been filed by the Alliance for Retired Americans against new U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. The suit seeks to block Musk and his hackers from accessing sensitive records: “The scale of the intrusion into individuals’ privacy is massive and unprecedented. Millions of people cannot avoid engaging in financial transactions with the federal government and, therefore, cannot avoid having their sensitive personal and financial information maintained in government records. Secretary Bessent’s action granting DOGE-affiliated individuals full, continuous, and ongoing access to that information for an unspecified period of time means that retirees, taxpayers, federal employees, companies, and other individuals from all walks of life have no assurance that their information will receive the protection that federal law affords.

Trump claimed over and over during the campaign that he will never touch Social Security or Medicare. But Trump is a veteran liar who drugs people with false promises he never keeps. Those who voted for him are fools and those who continue to trust him are morons. But they did not vote for Musk who is unelected and weirder than Trump himself.

Billionaires are rich but are not necessarily honest or smart. People confuse wealthy with smart, but they should not confuse wealthy with honest. To the contrary. To become execessively wealthy you have to have broken the laws, cheated here and there, scammed a bit and cut corners. Otherwise, eveyone would be a billionaire. It's no secret. The vast majority of people stay away from politics and rabid capitalism, and prefer an honest, comfortable life because the pursuit of power and money are by definition corrupting and require dishonesty and hypocrisy. And it is to people like that - Trump, Musk and their allies - we have entrusted our lives.

If you haven't yet freaked out at Trump's second move into the White (Out)House, now is the right time to freak out and expect the worst.
