The Dumb and Ugly American Interests in Lebanon

HOW THE ARSONIST-FIREMAN, SAINT ASSAD OF SYRIA, HELPED THE AMERICANS IN LEBANON.

IT TOOK THE DUMB – OR HYPOCRITE – AMERICANS 50 YEARS TO TURN AGAINST THE ASSAD REGIME.

FOR 50 YEARS, THE DUMB IDIOTS IN WAHSINGTON DC KEPT TELLING THE LEBANESE, WHO WERE SUFFERING UNDER THE STALINIST OCCUPATION OF ASSAD, THAT “SYRIA IS A FACTOR OF STABILITY” IN LEBANON. GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT THE UGLY AMERICANS ARE COOKING UP FOR LEBANON THIS TIME AROUND. IT'S HARD TO TRUST THEM FOR ALL THE HARM AND PREJUDICE THEY HAVE CAUSED LEBANON SINCE 1974.

 

During the 1980s, Lebanon was turned by Syria’s Assad regime and Western indifference into a breeding ground and a safe haven for Syrian- and Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups that abducted Western hostages, assassinated diplomats and journalists, hijacked planes, bombed various Western and Arab targets including the Iraqi, US and French embassies, as well as Western (UK, Italy, France, US) peacekeeping forces known as the Multi-National Force.

The Assad regime’s objective in backing these groups was to threaten and ultimately dislodge Western interests from Lebanon and beyond, and thus satisfy its Soviet sponsors. Although Syria incited “resistance” by these terrorist groups against Israel from the Lebanese south, it strictly forbade it along its own borders of its Israeli-occupied and annexed Golan Heights. Yet, the United States and Europe persistently supported the Syrian domination of Lebanon despite fierce opposition and resistance by the Lebanese, in return for Syria’s “cooperation” in freeing western hostages held by Syria’s proxies, “regulating” terrorist activity emanating from these proxies, and ultimately Syria’s assistance against Saddam Hussein of Iraq. Even Israeli officials became convinced that an extended Syrian military presence would be a guarantor of Lebanese stability.

US State Department criminals – those same people who inaugurated the State Department’s List of State Sponsors of Terrorism with Assad's Syria; people like Edward Djeredjian, Richard Murphy and others - kept telling the angry Lebanese that “Syria was a factor of stability” in Lebanon.

One wonders whether there had ever been a genuine US interest in salvaging Lebanon or if the intent from the start was to destabilize Lebanon in order to permanently settle the Palestinian refugees there and relieve Israel of the Right of Return enshrined in all UN treaties and UNSC resolutions.

The Lebanese should be very wary of any interest expressed by the US vis-à-vis Lebanon because behind that interest lies the insidious Zionist criminality and expansionism. I believe that right now, as we speak in early 2025, the US is doing everything it can to provide Israel with pretexts to maintain its fake “right to defend itself” against terrorism by occupying the south of Lebanon, which in turn provides pretexts for the Iranian Hezbollah terrorist group to maintain its “resistance”, and thus perpetuate an infernal cycle of instability in Lebanon. That has long been the gist of US interests in Lebanon.
