Warmongering Dictators Lining up Behind Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

.... But the Norwegian Peace Prize Committee is decent and smart enough not to fall in the trap.

Trump's so-called peace initiatives are not meant to make peace as much as they are, in his mercantile mindset, opportunities to make money by exploiting the countries' resources for his America First mantra.

Every one of these peace initiatives (Cambodia-Thailand, Armenia-Azerbaijan...) have an ulterior motive. Would you think Trump gives a damn about Azerbaijan (which he probably can't locate on a map) had the country not to have enormous oil reserves? Plus, these so-called peace accords are made by putting a gun to the heads of the leaders involved and threatening them with sanctions and tariffs if they do not comply. Trump's "transactional" approach is more military-powered extortion and blackmail than convincing with arguments.

Finally the Nobel Peace Prize Committee should take into consideration the abject domestic policies of the American Moron-in-Chief against migrants, immigrants and foreigners, all tainted with racist and xenophobic undertones. As a full-fledged dictator, Trump has violated every norm of decency and civilized conduct. Yes, he has the right to fight illegal immigration, but he could have done it without the barbarism and cruelty of his ICE-Gestapo police and his own insults against people who do not have his "beautiful white skin".

Adolf Hitler was conducting himself exactly like Donald Trump. Talking peace but marshalling enormous hateful militaristic capabilities that eventually led to war. Trump keeps talking about invading Panama, Mexico, taking over Greeland and eliminating Canada as a sovereign nation. He is trashing every bit of timid progress that the international community has made on environmental issues. He wants to drill for more oil and gas. He hates windmills. He is trashing all the centuries-old agreements between the United States and its native indigenous nations.

These are not traits of a peace-seeking individual, but reflect a distorted view of the world in which profit and money are the only metric for success.

The Trump effect should in fact stir the Swedish and Norwegian Nobel committees to create a new category of prizes for those who are ravaging the world with indecency, autocracy and brute force. For example, the Nobel Committee should award a prize for Political Brutality with its first award granted jointly to Donald Trump and his protégé barbarian Benjamin Netanyahu. They'll get the recognition they deserve for the right reasons.

Granting the Peace Prize to Trump would toll the death knell of the prize for generations to come.

In fact, Trump knows he is of a "persuasion" (understand racist and xenophobe) that makes him ineligible.  I am of  “a certain persuasion, no matter what I do, they won't give it.” And the most notable endorser of a prize for Trump is the genocidal ultra-religious war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu who is preparing for yet another ethnic cleansing of indigenous Palestine in favor of a foreign colonial entity known as Israel. Last July, Benjamin Netanyahu had the gall to present Trump with a letter that he said he had sent to the Nobel committee nominating him for the prize. Trump is enabling the mass murder and forced starvation of millions of Palestinians.

Despite European guilt - including Swedish and Norwegian Nazi allies of Hitler - at perpetrating the Holocaust, rewarding Netanyahu and Trump would be an insult to all the humanistic achievements of the past three centuries.

Coerced "peace accords" under the threat of sanctions and tariffs do not rise to the standard of genuine peace-seeking and peace-making.
