The pig humper below says, "I've done this 34 years. I have never worried and stressed like I have the last year", which essentially summarizes the Trump disaster: No administration before Trump's, including both Democrat and Republican, has done more damage to farmers than the white pig "savior" they voted for in 2024. What is it that they were seduced by in Trump? His "honest" open racism is the only thing they admired in him. And now that his insanity and his incompetence are bankrupting their farms and their lives, now that he is hurting their bottom line, their nostalgia for a white-trash-only country matters less.

And they have the gall now to tell their fellow Americans, who warned them against the criminal pedophile felon they were voting for, "I think we've been misled". Oh yeah? Go hump a pig before complaining about your own stupidity. They have the gall to say things like, "I do not want any Americans to feel sorry for the American farmer...I want the Americans to be mad that we have been put in this situation". Hey redneck fu- -er, you put yourself in this situation with your own tribal white supremacist racism. Believe me, I do not feel sorry for dumbass idiots like you who dug their own grave and who got what they deserve for voting for a criminal moron just because he was a white racist who sold you your own pig manure. 

Not even Gabriel Garcia Marquez could weave a magical realism story about this lowest substratum of the human species.

Farmer who voted for Trump says farmers are "all just in survival mode"

Matt Bell, 52, has been farming for more than half his life in central North Carolina. He grows soybeans, corn and wheat and raises beef cattle on more than 1,000 acres. But Bell, who voted for President Trump, says soaring prices for fuel, fertilizer, and equipment are hurting his farm and leading some of his fellow farmers to consider calling it quits once this growing season ends.

"I've done this 34 years. I have never worried and stressed like I have the last year," Bell told CBS News in an interview on Wednesday at his farm in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

Bell has been forced to make significant changes to his operation as a result of the high costs. He's shifting some of his acreage, trying to stretch out the lifespan of his equipment and producing his own fertilizer. His children have also opened up a storefront where visitors can pick pumpkins and take hayrides in the fall. But Bell is still feeling the pinch.

"We've cut everything we can cut," he said. "The last several years in agriculture have been terrible, and we have, you know, just cut the fat anywhere we could. But we're just getting to the point now there's nothing left to cut. You cannot run without fuel. You cannot run without fertilizer. You have to have that."

Bell says his diesel fuel costs have about doubled since last year

The war with Iran has driven up fuel costs and created supply chain disruptions as the Strait of Hormuz remains under a naval blockade with a limited number of oil tankers allowed through the critical waterway. And the intensifying conflict between Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels and Saudi Arabia and attacks by other Iranian proxy forces on Saudi infrastructure are squeezing global fuel supplies in the Red Sea and contributing to a spike in global fuel costs.

Fighting in Russia and Ukraine has also limited oil refining capacity, driving up prices further.

Diesel prices nationwide are averaging roughly $6.40 per gallon, according to AAA, nearly double the average price a year ago. In North Carolina Thursday, diesel prices hit their highest recorded average of $6.19 per gallon.

Prices have been so volatile that Bell said the price he's quoted from his distributor in the morning is only valid until the afternoon — when it rises again. He can't avoid the expense — his farm equipment runs on diesel. Bell showed CBS News his combine, which he says now requires about $600 worth of diesel fuel per day. That's more than twice what he paid last year.

Bell said he blew through his yearly fuel budget of $35,000 in August. Now, he expects his total for the year to be closer to $50,000 to $60,000.

"Every piece of equipment on this farm runs on diesel," he said. Without it, his farm wouldn't be able to function.

Tariff impact: "Everything that we touch has gone up"

It's not just diesel prices that are hurting Bell's business. President Trump's wide-ranging tariffs have also driven up costs — and left him and other farmers in limbo as the president continues to threaten to impose more tariffs.

"Everything we're touching, the fertilizer, fuel, chemicals, seed, parts — you know, the whole nine yards, everything that we touch has gone up," Bell said, noting that many of the price hikes resulted from Mr. Trump's tariff policies.

Farmers welcomed Mr. Trump's announcement in May that he had reached a deal for China to buy 25 million metric tons of soybeans from the U.S. annually through 2028. China has purchased significantly more U.S. soybeans in 2026 compared to 2025, but its 10% retaliatory tariff on U.S. soybeans remains in place. China imposed the levy in response to Mr. Trump's fentanyl-related tariffs on China.

Bell said China's soybean tariffs have left the market in limbo: That is, China hasn't increased the prices it's paying for U.S. soybeans, even though everything farmers touch in producing soybeans "has gone up."

In a letter to Mr. Trump on Thursday ahead of his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping next week, the American Soybean Association called on him to push for the elimination of the 10% tariff.

"I think we've been misled"

Bell initially supported Mr. Trump's policies and even thought short-term price increases resulting from the Iran conflict would be worth ensuring Iran never has a nuclear weapon, one of the president's stated goals of the war.

But he now says the administration has made miscalculations in the war. "We're just being strung along as a country and that's not good," Bell said.

Bell criticized the administration's decision-making around the war, saying, "I think we've been misled."

He also says the administration's agriculture policy is not what he was promised.

"We were sold a bill of goods that agriculture was going to be on the forefront … and there was going to be some policy that would put America's farmers and ranchers first. And right now, that has not happened."

Bell said that while the administration's farmer bailout program sounds significant, "it's not a lot of money."

This November, Bell says he'll be voting for candidates who he says have "common sense," and listen to Americans' concerns.

"I'm a Republican, but I'm probably going to vote a split ticket," he said.

"We are fighting for survival"

Bell said he knows farmers who have been forced out of business as a result of high costs, unable to sustain their business with rising prices.

"I do not want any Americans to feel sorry for the American farmer," Bell said. "I want the Americans to be mad that we have been put in this situation. We are fighting for survival, and we're running out of options."

And he acknowledged it's possible he could also be forced to shutter his farm.

"Money's not the problem, I could care less about the money," he said. "But we take a lot of pride in what we do. You can't put a dollar sign on that. But I can't stay in business under these conditions. Something has got to give."

But asked what he would do if he wasn't a farmer, Bell hesitated: "I don't know. It's all I've ever done."

Trump-Persecuted Hispanics and Latinos: How Will they Vote Now?

Under the Obama administration, deportation rates of illegals were as high as they are now under the dumbass Trump. The difference, however, is that Obama did his deportations in a civilized manner, while Trump's racism has added unwarranted cruelty and savagery in the way his GETSAPO-ICE police are doing it. 

No one can question the necessity of upholding the law, but must we be savages in doing so? Hiding your racism behind the law and resuscitating Jim Crow laws is an altogether different matter.

Trump's savagery has only one explanation: A racist push to "clean up" America of its non-white, non-Anglo-Saxon people.

Why Hispanic Americans are losing faith in the American Dream

President Donald Trump won 43% of the Hispanic vote in 2024, up from 35% in 2020 – a big gain for Republicans. Now, as the midterms approach, Hispanic Americans across party lines are losing faith in the American Dream, and his administration's immigration crackdown appears to be part of the reason.

Arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement of people with no criminal record are surging. Federal immigration agents have shot at nearly two dozen people – most of them Latino – since last year, according to The New York Times. Those include the fatal shootings of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Texas and Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Maine.

This climate of aggressive immigration enforcement may be affecting Hispanic Americans' sense of belonging and their belief that they can pursue a better life in the United States. The Public Religion Research Institute 2026 survey on American identity asked more than 5,000 adults about their thoughts on the American Dream: the idea that if you work hard, you'll get ahead. Just 40% of Hispanic Americans say that dream holds true today, down from 52% just two years ago.

I'm the director of research at PRRI, and I study public opinion and immigration. I recently analyzed nearly 700 survey responses from Hispanic Americans to understand which factors are associated with the belief that the American Dream no longer holds true. I found that national pride, concerns about democratic rights and freedoms, attachment to living in the U.S., and Trump's handling of immigration are significantly associated with this belief.

Surprisingly, however, party affiliation is not.

Hispanic Americans – Republican, Democrat and independent – are experiencing a growing sense of isolation, feeling less safe, less welcome and more like strangers in their own country.

Shifting views

The share of Hispanic Americans who identify as Republican has more than doubled, from 10% in 2013 to 21% in 2025. Over the past year, however, Hispanic Americans' favorable views of Trump's handling of immigration have dropped – from 31% in 2025 to 19% in 2026.

Whether Republicans keep their recent gains among Hispanic voters in the November 2026 midterms may depend on whether those voters feel the administration has made their families less safe and their finances less secure. Most Hispanic Americans – 68% – believe the surge of ICE officers is making communities less safe.

Pride has also slipped. Just 42% of Hispanic Americans say they are extremely or very proud to be American, compared with 51% of Americans overall. To be sure, national pride has fallen sharply across the country, from 82% in 2013 to 51% today. But among Hispanic Americans, the drop has been even steeper: from 77% to 42%. A majority of Hispanic Americans – 56% – now say they feel like strangers in their own country.

Concerns about the state of democracy may also be contributing to Hispanic Americans' shifting views. When eligible voters fear they could be disenfranchised based on unfounded claims about noncitizen voting, it weakens their sense of belonging and their confidence in democratic institutions.

Research shows that Latino citizens already face disproportionately negative effects from strict ID policies, which researchers suggest may be partly due to being less likely to have an ID and feeling intimidated by an increasingly hostile immigration environment that could put undocumented family members at risk. The proposed SAVE America Act, which would require additional documentation to vote, would make voting even more difficult for them.

Declining faith

To understand how Hispanic Americans view the American Dream, I analyzed PRRI's survey, accounting for differences in race, age, gender, education, religion, employment, income, region, parenthood, survey language and party identification. Even with those controls, unfavorable views of Trump's handling of immigration remained significant. Weaker levels of national pride, weaker attachment to the U.S. and concerns about democratic rights were significantly associated with the belief that the American Dream no longer holds true.

One additional factor was statistically significant: survey language.

Unexpectedly, Hispanics who completed the survey in Spanish were more likely to believe that the American Dream holds true than those who completed the survey in English. This could be because some Spanish-language respondents evaluate economic opportunities in the U.S. relative to those in their countries of origin.

One factor that was not statistically significant was party identification.

After accounting for other characteristics, Hispanic Democrats, Republicans and independents do not significantly differ in whether they believe the American Dream holds true. This suggests that declining faith goes beyond partisanship and reflects a more fundamental question about this group's sense of belonging.

In America, 1 in 5 people identify as Hispanic. When a growing segment of American society begins to doubt that hard work leads to opportunity, that citizenship provides security, or that participation brings acceptance, the consequences go beyond which party they will support in November. The deeper question is whether people are beginning to lose faith in the country itself, including its democratic promises and its future.

Fleecing people is a way of life and a profit-making bonanza for much of corporate America. That is why American corporations hire expensive lobbyists to bribe elected government officials into opposing any government intervention aiming at protecting citizens from the venerable scammers of the American Way of Life.

They propagate slogans they feed into people's brains to keep them herded like captive cattle that reject any improvement in their lives:

The "American Way of Life" is code for accepting to be fleeced and robbed on the altar of putrid patriotism. How often have you been told to spend and consume as a patriotic duty to keep the economy going? No wonder y'all live in debt (your government is $40 trillion in debt!) and do not save enough for retirement.

"Limited Government", "Small Government, Big Results", "Keep government out of our lives" are slogans aiming at brainwashing people into accepting rapist corporations as friendly entities and be willing Stockholm Syndrome victims.

Slogans such as "Lower Taxes, More Jobs", "Championing Free Enterprise", and "Advocating for Fiscal Responsibility" intend to keep the average dumb American sequestered in an intellectual jail. Conservatism is in fact intellectual laziness: People who don't accept the inevitable built-in change in life and society (also known as progress) just don't want to learn new things and change their bad habits. They are conservatives. Trump is the perfect example of the dumb conservative. He generally doesn't want new technology (wind turbines, for example), doesn't understand climate change... but if it involves his bottom line he's all for it: Data centers are the latest example.

Conservatism - less regulations - also leaves established corrupt practices in place. When you change things, you in fact force a cleanup that allows you to discover the dust behind the furniture. Conservatives don't want to clean up because they don't want their practices exposed.

Conservatives are against new taxes because taxes generally provide more government services and better infrastructure (healthcare, transportation, etc.). In the US, infrastructure is decaying, having been built decades ago by progressive Democrat administrations. Electric lines still hang from Third-World-like poles and are often disabled during storms. Old gas lines often cause explosions and conservatives oppose any funding to replace decaying infrastructure. In the US, there is no decent advanced mass transportation to match the size and importance of the country. There are no fast/bullet/TGV-like trains, as is the case in Europe, China and Japan. In California for example, a fast train project running up and down the coast was allocated insufficient funding years ago and is now dead in the water because conservatives want to derail it (no pun intended). They prefer gasoline-driven cars and building more highways. In their propaganda, they equate owning a car and burning gasoline with some sort of "freedom".

In this universe of ours, stability doesn't exist, everything is in constant change. Unless there is intervention to force stability, things tend to decay on their own - the second law of thermodynamics in physics says that systems spontaneously decay from states of order towards states of disorder. Life for example counters this natural tendency by constantly importing energy to build order (organelles, cells, tissues, organs...) out of chemical chaos and prevent disorder (i.e. illness and death).

It was not a political statement that John Stuart Mill was making when he said “Conservatives are not necessarily stupid, but most stupid people are conservatives." He was perhaps innocently reflecting on the fact that conservatives stubbornly refuse change. Dumb people often are suspicious of novelty. Conservatives refuse to make the intellectual effort to adapt and inevitably fall behind. Life is in a constant state of adaptation to the constant change happening around it.

Some American conservatives are so dumb that they think the world was born in the 1950s and that it should remain there. Some even want to go back to the 1850s with nostalgia for slavery and a lawless "only-white" United States. I suspect some even want to go back to the Middle Ages when religion dominated every facet of life. The modern world with its constant discoveries - the electronics revolution, the genomics revolution... - is a scary place for dumb, intellectually-frozen conservatives.

The reason Americans tend to be conservative and religious is an evolutionary phenomenon: If you transplant a species from environment 1 to environment 2, the natural evolution that was taking place in environment 1 suddenly stops because the equilibrium that existed between the species and its environment is disrupted. Hence, the species has to first discover its new environment (number 2) to learn to adjust and adapt to it. Hence the transplanted individual members of that group become frozen for a while. Americans, as transplanted individuals from other corners of the world, face a new environment and do not yet know or understand that they have to change or how to change. They are frozen in the comfort of what they know and they fear novelty. It is this intellectual laziness that brings idiots like Trump to power in the US.

Way behind many advanced and wealthy nations, the US struggles with issues long put aside in these other nations. The US is like teenagers who don't understand the world and have to fuck up and make their own mistakes before becoming mature and at peace with themselves.

For now, for example, the US refuses to create a national health plan for ALL citizens on the pretexts I mentioned above. So Americans struggle as they are bamboozled by carnivorous health insurance wolves that promise them coverage as long as they pay their premiums. But then, when the shit hits the fan and people fall ill, the Golgotha of trying to get that much promised coverage suddenly begins. That much flaunted coverage vanishes. 

Healthcare in the US is the most expensive and least efficient around the world. It may have leading edge research (thanks to its immigrant scientists, engineers and doctors) but every day patients suffering from treatable diseases and in need of "routine care" do not need "research". They need care over which health insurers torment them all the time.

Conservatives say they are for competition. But they fear to compete with the government. There is no free market in the US. There are oligopolies that run people's everyday lives and fleece them out of their money. If you incur medical debt because you can't pay for the care that insurers refuse to pay, you are punished by the other predators, the financial ones, who give you a bad "credit score".

Having Health Insurance Doesn’t Prevent Medical Debt

Many people buy health insurance to protect themselves from catastrophes like car accidents or cancer leading to astronomical medical bills.

But even having health insurance is not guaranteed to keep people out of financial ruin.

Nearly one third of adults ages 19-64 with private insurance have unpaid medical bills or medical debt, according to a survey released September 17 by the Commonwealth Fund, a foundation that supports independent research on health care issues. Nearly half of adults who were paying off medical debts owed $2,000 or more.

"Medical-debt issues often stem from routine care, including doctor's office visits and treatment for chronic conditions," says Sara R. Collins, a senior scholar at the Commonwealth Fund and one of the authors of the report. High deductibles are another common source. "People are just dealing with routine care and bills that build up over time."

The study, which consisted of interviews among a nationally representative sample of more than 6,300 adults in 2025, also included analysis of focus groups in which people expanded on their experiences with health care. In the focus groups, many people expressed surprise at how high their medical bills were despite their insurance coverage, Collins says.

The problem of insured Americans with medical debt could grow in the coming years as health insurance becomes less affordable. Already, the cost of health benefits per employee is projected to rise 8.2% in 2027, the highest increase since 2003, according to an August survey by Marsh, and some employers may downgrade their plans and shift more costs to employees, employers told Marsh. 

What's more, after Congress decided not to renew subsidies for people buying health insurance from Affordable Care Act Exchanges, many consumers switched to lower quality plans that will cost them more if they have catastrophic or chronic health issues, according to April data from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

The Commonwealth study found that 30% of survey respondents cut back on basic necessities like food, heat, or rent to afford health care, and that 37% of those with debt used part or all of their savings to pay their bills.

Once people experience medical debt, they often hesitate to seek out more medical care, says Collins. That can lead to higher expenses for everyone in the long run, as they end up needing emergency services instead of less expensive preventative care.

Medical debt weighs heavily on Americans, Collins says. "There is a huge fear among people in our focus groups of having their credit scores ruined by medical debt."

Fifteen states have passed various laws limiting the use of medical debt in lending decisions and on credit reports. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau had finalized a federal rule designed to keep medical debt off credit reports and out of credit decisions, but a federal court vacated the rule in July 2025 after the Trump Administration took office.

Lebanese Emigrants Take their Home-Grown Corruption with Them to Their New Countries

Not a week goes by without news of Lebanese emigrants or their descendants being caught in huge corruption scams and schemes.

Lebanon is one of the most corrupt places on earth. Lebanese people carry an indelible phenotype, which I suspect is based on a dominant genotype, of a Mafia-like mindset. They are very quick at picking up vulnerabilities in any system they happen to operate in, and immediately and instinctively design schemes to exploit such vulnerability.

The entire country is run by political, feudal, religious, financial Mafias that control people's lives. When you're born and bred in such an incubator of corruption, you take those skills with you wherever you go, including to the new countries to which you emigrate. It's truly uncanny. As soon as an average Lebanese is faced with a limitation or a restriction imposed by laws and regulations, his/her brain spontaneously and immediately scans various options to circumvent such a limitation. Breaking the law is an atavistic innate character of the Lebanese mindset.

In their countries of emigration, Lebanese emigrants are suddenly transposed from chaos, anarchy and lawlessness to order, rules and regulations. Having spent lives surviving in Darwinian lawlessness, they have adapted by developing an acute state of constant alert, just as would be the case in the jungle for example. They grow up hearing, seeing and experiencing their parents' survival skills - how to seek help from holders of power, how to bribe, how to kiss the ring, and really just about anything that bypasses the rules.

In fact, they pride themselves at that skill...It is so engrained in the fabric that they teach it to their children by repeating over and over again - إن لم تكن ذئباً أكلتك الذئاب - which translates roughly into "it's a Dog-eat-dog world" (A literal translation is "If you're not a wolf, the wolves will eat you"), whereby you've got to survive no matter what, including to be willing to break the law.

Anyone - say, a Lebanese emigrant on a return visit who has lived in a Rule of Law system long enough to appreciate its benefits - who argues with the resident Lebanese that such behavior is illegal and immoral and keeps the country in the Stone Age is treated like some sort of a deranged imbecile or a weakling. Kindness, politeness, going-by-the-book is castigated as weak and stupid. Enter a store anywhere in Lebanon where the buyer and seller are meeting for the first time - i.e. they have not being introduced by mutual friends or relatives, and the seller rarely says the customary hello, thank you and goodbye. Doing business and making money are so obsessive that they override any other consideration.

Why has such a Mafia mindset seeped into the Lebanese psyche is due to many decades, if not centuries, of living in endless wars under rotating foreign occupations that ally themselves with local feudal lords, warlords, religious Neanderthals and financial crooks, so much so that corruption has become an instinct, a way of life, an automatic modus operandi.

In most countries of emigration where laws, rules and regulations are implemented, the people of these countries do not live in a state of alert, unlike in Lebanon. Their administrations generally work well, and people who complain about bureaucratic red tape still trust the system because they are not subjected to blackmail and swindling to get their business moving. Upon landing in such new countries, the Lebanese immigrant immediately senses that these countries' bureaucrats and citizens are more sedate and rarely suspect corruption lurking around. That is a golden opportunity for Lebanese immigrants to abuse what he sees as a vulnerability.

I cannot help make a connection between this state of affairs and the constant reporting about some Lebanese immigrant - even second and third generation immigrant - caught in a web of corruption somewhere around the planet.

To wit, the Alex Saab gentleman below (Saab in Lebanese means "difficult"), this Mr. Difficult as it were, is, not surprisingly, an ally of the dictator Maduro and is now pursued by justice for money laundering and fraud. Upon hearing such news, the resident Lebanese snicker in pride at how the Lebanese are smartasses who always find ways to beat the system.

Mr. "Difficult" Saab in Venezuela was named head of an "International Center for Productive Investment", a name that lends itself to an immense Ali Baba's cave,  a treasure trove of corruption. Google or AI Query "Alex Saab Biography" and read about this man whose notoriety as a corrupt businessman-politician is likely to be celebrated by Lebanon.

That is why this blog was named "Lebanon iznogood" some twenty years ago. The funny thing is that Lebanese leave their country because of rampant corruption. But when they land in a new country, they themselves become the agents of corruption. I told you, they just can't help it.

Several recent cases involving Lebanese nationals or immigrants have been linked to corruption and illicit financial activities:

Jean Nassif (Australia): A fugitive Lebanese-Australian property developer is currently testifying via video link from Beirut to the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). He faces allegations of bribing politicians and making prohibited political donations to influence development approvals in Sydney. An international arrest warrant was issued for fraud in 2023.

Hezbollah Financing (Kuwait): In September 2026, a Lebanese national was sentenced to 10 years in prison in Kuwait, alongside three Kuwaitis, for joining and funding Hezbollah. The court also imposed a fine of KD 6.283 million.

Lebanese Diaspora Networks: A report by the Washington Institute details how Lebanese diaspora communities in the U.S., Europe, and Africa have been used by Hezbollah for money laundering, counterfeiting, and drug trafficking. Colombian-Venezuelan businessman Alex Saab pleads guilty in US federal court to laundering proceeds from a bribery and fraud scheme involving Venezuelan officials and government contracts.

Alex Saab, a Colombian-Venezuelan businessman and close ally of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, pleaded guilty in a US federal court to laundering proceeds from a bribery and fraud scheme.

Saab, a former Venezuelan minister of industry, admitted on Tuesday before US District Judge Kathleen Williams in Miami to organising a system of bribes to Venezuelan officials, enabling companies he secretly controlled to win government contracts to import food and medicine.

According to the US Justice Department, the fraudulent contracts fell under CLAP, a Venezuelan welfare programme meant to distribute subsidised food to the public during the country's economic collapse.

The US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida said in a statement that Saab and his associates "used fake companies, false invoices and fraudulent shipping records to skim hundreds of millions of dollars" meant for public benefit, later laundering the proceeds through shell companies abroad, including in the United States.

Assistant Attorney General A Tysen Duva of the Justice Department's Criminal Division said that Saab "created a complex web of front companies, shell accounts, and false records to perpetuate his scheme, win lucrative public contracts, and line his own pockets as well as his conspirators".

Saab also admitted exploiting his ties to Venezuelan officials to gain access to oil owned by state firm PDVSA, selling it under false pretences as US sanctions squeezed the country's finances.

Saab pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to launder monetary instruments, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

As part of the plea deal, he agreed to forfeit $195m in criminal proceeds and to cooperate with continuing federal investigations. Prosecutors agreed to recommend a sentence at the low end of the range, and to seek further reductions if his cooperation proves substantial.

A sentencing date has not been set.

The case marks Saab's second prosecution in the US. He was first arrested in Cape Verde in 2020 and extradited to face similar charges, before former US President Joe Biden granted him clemency in December 2023 as part of a prisoner exchange with Venezuela.

A new indictment followed in January, and Saab was deported to the US in May by Venezuela's interim government under pressure from Washington, months after the US removed Maduro from power and brought him to US soil.

US Attorney Jason Reding Quinones said the case "sends a clear message: political connections, wealth and proximity to a corrupt regime will not put anyone beyond the reach of American justice".

Poll: A third of Israelis call settler rioters ‘terrorists’

A new survey finds one-third of Israelis describe Jewish rioters involved in recent West Bank violence as "Israeli terrorists," while another 18% call them "nationalist criminals."

A third of Israelis describe Jewish rioters [Calling these criminals "rioters" is akin to calling the Islamist terrorists of Al-Qaeda or ISIS "objectors of conscience"] involved in recent violence in the West Bank village of Kusra as "Israeli terrorists," according to a survey released Monday by the Jewish People Policy Institute.

Coupled with another 18% who called them "nationalist criminals," the results demonstrate the degree to which the rioters, whose actions have roiled Israel's relations with its allies, including the Trump administration, are outliers in Israel, JPPI President Yedidia Stern said.

"The survey shows that support among Israelis for the Jewish rioters [The Jerusalem Post exercises self-censored hypocrisy by calling these murderous religious barbarian terrorists as "rioters"] in the West Bank is truly negligible, at just 5%," Stern said in a release accompanying the poll. "More than half the public judges them very harshly, as terrorists or criminals, while others view them with varying degrees of severity. This represents an unusually broad consensus in Israel's polarized society."

Only 13% of the respondents chose one of the two most lenient descriptions: "young people who sometimes go too far" or "the salt of the earth." [Yeah, why not add some of your other putrid slogans, like "The light unto nations" or The Chosen Ones"]

The government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come under pressure from the Trump administration and European nations to crack down on the rioters [colonial terrorists]. Netanyahu has until recently resisted serious action, mindful that a significant portion of his coalition includes far-right parties sympathetic to varying degrees with the rioters. Earlier this month, Netanyahu ordered some of the outposts associated with the rioters removed.

Views on the rioters differed according to political affiliation. Sixty-three percent of respondents on the left described the rioters as "Israeli terrorists," compared with 49% in the center and just 3% on the right.

Arab Israelis were also more likely to use the term, at 55%, compared with 27% of Jewish Israelis.

The survey referred to a recent incident in Kusra in which dozens of masked Israelis arrived in pickup trucks, threw stones at Palestinian residents and barricaded themselves inside a Palestinian home while members of the family were still inside, according to the Israeli military. Several Palestinians were wounded, and the rioters fled when security forces arrived. No arrests were made.

The incident came weeks after another confrontation in Kusra in which Israeli settlers set up an unauthorized outpost beside Palestinian homes. US Ambassador Mike Huckabee condemned that episode at the time as a "horrific act of terror" meant to "intimidate and harass" families.

The survey was conducted September 1-3 among 663 Jewish respondents and 206 Arab respondents and weighted to represent Israel's adult population. JPPI did not list a margin of error.

Ken Paxton Accused of Lunging at Tourist Who Filmed Him With Mistress

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was accused of attempting to take a tourist's phone after being filmed with his alleged mistress in London.

Texas Attorney General and GOP U.S. Senate nominee Ken Paxton was accused of lunging at an American tourist and attempting to take his phone after the man filmed the Republican walking with his alleged mistress in London.

The tourist, who spoke anonymously to the Daily Mail in an article published on Monday, said the July 1 encounter occurred on Westminster Bridge, near the London Eye, while he and his wife were sightseeing.

According to the man, he recognized Paxton walking with Tracy Duhon, with whom the Mail previously reported Paxton has been having an affair, and recorded an 18-second video of the pair. The footage was later published by the outlet.

The tourist said he had already walked away when he felt someone bump his left shoulder and turned to find Paxton beside him.

"Were you filming me back there?" Paxton allegedly asked.

After the tourist acknowledged that he had, Paxton allegedly told him, "You can't do that."

"I stopped because I was just hot, and I said, 'I can absolutely film you. You're a public figure in a public place, and I can film you all I want,'" the man recalled.

The tourist claimed Paxton then demanded to see the footage and "lunged for my phone."

"He says, 'You can't do that. Let me have your phone. I want your phone,' and then at this point it's a confrontation," he told the Mail. "He's yelling at me, and I'm telling him to back off. He lunged at the phone a second time and tried to force it from me."

The man's wife said she began running toward the pair after realizing there was a confrontation and pulled out her own phone after her husband yelled for her to record.

The couple alleged Paxton walked away once he saw the second phone. Duhon was not present during the alleged confrontation.

The tourist said he reported the incident to London's Metropolitan Police but has not pursued criminal charges. He said he was not injured and no punches were thrown.

Paxton's campaign did not respond to the Mail's request for comment about the allegations.

Paxton, who is separated but remains legally married, is running against Democrat James Talarico for U.S. Senate. The Mail reported that Duhon divorced her husband in 2025.

After decades of unchallenged Zionist propaganda that owned the press, the media and Hollywood, the freedom of access to information now made possible by the new technologies has now exposed the Zionist lies. All the myths fed to a credulous and captive world about the creation of the Zionist monster in the Near East have now crumbled.

The barbary and savagery of how Israel was created some 80 years ago - long occulted and distorted to favor the Zionist racist colonial narrative - are repeating themselves in Palestine today, with the difference that the world now can watch live the ethnic cleansing, the terror, the savagery and inhumanity by foreign Zionist Jews against the indigenous Palestinian people.

Even the colonial English crooks, who midwifed the Zionist colony in Palestine by violating their fiduciary mandate over Palestine and selling it to rich European Zionist bankers, have now had enough barbarity hanging on their conscience.

The colonial criminal Zionist entity in Palestine perpetuated the lie that it, the criminal invader, rapist and land thief of Palestine, was the victim of its own real Palestinian victims whose legitimate and desperate efforts at liberating themselves and their land were tagged as "terrorism". Now the tide has turned. Israel is now indeed the victim of its own racism and barbarity. Israel now should now be placed on all decent countries' lists of Terrorist States, and the BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanctions) regime against Israel should no longer be prohibited but encouraged and implemented. What happened to the racist Apartheid South African white supremacist Afrikaner regime should be repeated in Palestine against the racist Apartheid Jewish supremacist Zionist regime of Israel.

The rift between America and the Zionist colony on one hand, and the rest of the world on the other, has left both without any friends, except those they can still buy, bully or bribe into shunning human decency and supporting barbarity. It seems as if Israel and the US are building a new front of such weighty (but insignificant and desperate for money) countries like Zambia, Moldova, Nauru, and Fiji who avert their eyes from the mass killing fields in Palestine in exchange for pity, money and cheap used weapons. Indeed, Israel became the first country in the world to recognize the self-declared banana Republic of Somaliland.

Less than ten countries are now on the "Righteous Among the Nations" list, while some 200 countries are now officially Antisemitic Jew-hating Goyim. I warn these tiny insignificant nations that sleeping with a colonial rapist might suggest to the latter that your island or petite country could be next on Yahweh's expanding Promised Land. I heard that there was once one Jew on Nauru; beware the Zionists who might one day claim Nauru as part of the Promised Land, invade your island and start building settlement for their Chosen Ones.

An ambassador in Ljubljana, but not in London: Israel’s foreign policy shifts away from longstanding allies

Gideon Saar smiled as he cut the blue ribbon outside the newly inaugurated embassy of Nauru in Jerusalem. Israel's foreign minister described the tiny Pacific island nation of some 12,000 people as "one of Israel's greatest friends in the international community."

Two days later, it was Slovenia's turn, as Saar cut the ribbon on a new embassy in Ljubljana. He praised the new center-right government for standing by Israel in the European Union, especially after the country had previously been one of Israel's harshest critics. A large business delegation was brought along to show appreciation.

There was no such celebration in London, where Israel faced one of its sharpest diplomatic rebukes in years: a coordinated move by the United Kingdom and 11 other countries to impose sanctions and trade restrictions on Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. Israel has had no ambassador in London for nearly a year. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's intended envoy, his chief of staff Tzachi Braverman, was barred from leaving Israel due to a criminal investigation, leaving the post vacant.

The split-screen moment reflects a broader pattern in Israel's foreign relations: As traditional partners in Western Europe grow distant, losing patience with the settlement expansion and surging violence in the West Bank, the right-wing government is cultivating ties with smaller or what it sees as more ideologically aligned countries, redirecting its diplomatic energy to other arenas.

UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband tied the new measures, announced in parliament on Tuesday, directly to Israel's decision to push ahead with the E1 settlement project, which critics say would cut the West Bank in two and close off the possibility of a contiguous future Palestinian state.

But the move is part of a longer-term shift. In September 2025, Britain, Canada, France and more than a dozen other Western states recognized Palestinian statehood. And this June, the UK, Canada, France, Norway, Australia and New Zealand announced a wave of coordinated sanctions targeting individuals and networks accused of financing and enabling settler violence.

Some of the states announced additional punitive measures: France barred far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from entering the country, Italy opened an investigation into National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir over the treatment of detained activists, including Italians, after Israel intercepted an aid flotilla on its way to Gaza. The Netherlands declared both Ben Gvir and Smotrich "persona non grata" and approved its own ban on imports of settlement goods.

Not every proposal has succeeded, and Israel has so far managed to stall broader actions from the EU. For years, Israel used Viktor Orban's government in Hungary to block EU measures. Now, following a change in leadership in Budapest, Slovenia has effectively taken Hungary's place as Israel's representative in Brussels. A push by France and Sweden for an EU ban on settlement trade was stalled, as were efforts to expel Israel from the EU's flagship Horizon research program.

Dr. Rémi Daniel, from Israel's Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) says the one comfort for Israel is that Germany and Italy have so far stuck to statements rather than joining the sanctions. "They are the most important EU member states because they have the power to block plans at the European level," he said.

But the trend was still concerning, he said, because looking at the balance of power within the EU, "the swinging center is going more against Israel."

Israel's response to the new sanctions – and its attitude towards one of its oldest allies in general - has been openly combative.

Saar swiftly announced he would close the British Consulate General in Jerusalem, end UK training for Palestinian Authority security forces, and ban entry to a dozen British officials and lawmakers. "The British move is morally distorted and constitutes a blatant interference in the affairs of a sovereign state and its electoral process," Saar said Tuesday.

Netanyahu labeled the UK the "Islamic Republic of Britain" on a podcast last month and has accused French President Emanuel Macron of fueling antisemitism by recognizing a Palestinian state.

While relations with some Western allies cool, and even the friendly Trump administration in the United States appears to be growingly frustrated with settler violence, Israel has been pouring energies into other regions and redrawing its map of relationships.

Declaring 2026 "The Year of South America," Saar has toured Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay and Colombia and restored relations with Bolivia, Chile and Honduras. He also opened a communication channel with Venezuela for the first time since 2009, sending rescue teams to assist with earthquake relief last month.

New Israeli embassies opened in Zambia, Estonia, Moldova, Fiji and Slovenia. And Israel became the first country in the world to recognize the self-declared Republic of Somaliland as an independent state. Somaliland then opened an embassy in Jerusalem, where fewer than 10 countries have embassies, including the US. Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and the Democratic Republic of Congo have declared their intent to join the list.

Daniel Shek, a former Israeli ambassador to France, argues that this pivot comes at a real cost and says the government is damaging relationships built over decades on shared interests in economy, science, culture, security.

"They are sacrificing the alliances with the most significant countries," he said. "If Saar thinks the Paraguayan economy can replace France as a partner for export and import, good for him."

The countries involved in the sanctions, he said, are not ideologically hostile to Israel, just its actions under Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich. "France, Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, are friendly countries fed up with this Israeli government's behavior."

Shek notes that the sanctions target the settlements, and not Israel itself, and that their practical bite, for now, is limited. Still, he says, they should not be underestimated.

"Once sanctions have been imposed, it is significant," he said. "There are things that have been opened and cannot be put back in the bottle."
