Harriet Tubman was an abolitionist of slavery, a fearless humanitarian, an intelligence agent for the Union, and a woman's rights activist. She is a true American hero.
Born a slave, like Spartacus, she dreamed of being free. Like Spartacus, she was willing to risk everything—including her own life—to obtain freedom. After a daring escape, she became a conductor on the Underground Railroad, a secret organization that helped slaves from the primitive white trash slavery South make the dangerous journey north to freedom.
But Harriet Tubman is BLACK AFRICAN AMERICAN. And with the dumb asshole Trump in the White Outhouse, being Black is a problem. Trump continues the racist tradition of white trash rule that prevailed in the South when lazy white colonial criminals did not want to harvest their own cotton and clean their own shit. They kidnapped millions of African slaves off the West Coast of Africa, shipped them in atrocious conditions across the Atlantic where they put them to work like beasts of burden and workhorses FOR FREE. Without slave work for more than two centuries, exactly 246 years when the first enslaved Africans arrived in 1619 until the passage of the 13th Amendment in 1865, the US would not be as rich as it is today.
The German Nazis persecuted the Jews for some 12 years (1933 - 1945) during which they were in power. This was roughly one century ago. Germany, under pressure from the US, continues to pay compensations to its Jewish victims and their descendants who, lest it be forgotten, have been persecuting, genociding and ethnically cleansing the indigenous Palestinian population after stealing their land and expelling them from their native country of Palestine. The Zionists even refuse to allow the Palestinian refugees who fled the Zionist pogroms of the 1930s and 1940s against them, to return to their villages and towns, and those who remain are under constant persecution. Let us not even talk about compensations, not yet.
The White Trash American settlers of America persecuted black slaves for at least the two-and-a-half centuries (1619-1865) for which history has documented dates. This was a couple of centuries ago. But White Trash Americans continue to refuse to recognize the abomination of what they did to African slaves and, of course like the Zionists, refuse to pay compensations for their descendants of the slaves.
Therefore, one can conclude that Jewish victims of genocide are more deserving than African victims or Palestinian victims of genocide.
I wonder why. Could it be because the garbage and filthy mythology of the Torah-Old Testament rendered Jewish history "sacred" in contrast to other identical histories that remain a footnote? Could it really be that, in this 21st century, we humans continue to believe as "sacred" the crap written by smelly old nomads in the Arabian desert about some invented Bronze Age god by the name of Yahweh who arbitrarily chose one desert nomadic tribe as his favorite pet?
Why do we continue to believe this Torah-Old Testament garbage to be sacred, while we view other similar mythologies as profane and a mere object of academic interest? Could the Arabian desert Semites have imposed on the rest of humanity the notion of the sacredness of their myths? The Mesopotamian Epic of Giglamesh and the Code of Hammurabi (whose myths were borrowed into the Torah-Old Testament). The Egyptian Book of the Dead. The Greek Odyssey and Illiad. The Roman Aeneid. The Sagas of Iceland. The scandinavian Poetic Edda and Prose Edda. Of course, two other Semitic mythologies are also considered as sacred because they draw their roots to the Torah-Old Testament, namely the Christian gospels and the Muslim Koran.
As Donald Dumb, the White-Trash-in-Chief, has been attempting to delete, erase and eliminate from our consciousness Black Africa-American history and contributions to building these United States, his most recent rape of Black African American history involves reversing the decision of putting Harriet Tubman's legacy on the $20 bill. This White Trash illiterate American nitwit thinks that Blacks are inferior. Worse yet, he thinks that women are inferior. So, because Harriet Tubman is both Black and a woman, he must really hate her. He always qualifies African American women as LOW IQ. Coming from a moron, I am not surprised.
How low can a pathetic racist white trash criminal felon go in his hateful and foolish belief that he can somehow alter history? He has been attacking every symbol of African American contributions to the US: Firing of US armed forces officers who are Black. Forcing museums and parks to delete any mention of African American contributions from exhibits, pamphlets and websites. And now Harriet Tubman. WASHINGTON, July 7 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department is no longer planning to put anti-slavery crusader Harriet Tubman on a $20 bill, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has told Spectrum News.
"We are not at present," Bessent said when asked in a Monday interview if Treasury was still planning to move ahead with the decade-old plan. Bessent did not elaborate, and a Treasury spokesperson declined to comment beyond Bessent's remark.
The Obama administration announced in 2016 that Tubman, who was born into slavery in the early 1820s and went on to help hundreds of slaves escape, would replace seventh U.S. President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.
Then-Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said the decision was the result of thousands of responses received from Americans.
Tubman would have been the first African American on the face of U.S. paper currency.
During his first presidential campaign, Donald Trump, who has since sought to dismantle diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, called the move to replace Jackson with Tubman "pure political correctness."
He had proposed putting her on the $2 bill or another bill, and no progress was made on the plan during Trump's first presidency.
Bessent's predecessor, former Biden administration Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, revived the Tubman $20 bill project but estimated that the new currency would not be ready until 2030, citing the need for sophisticated anti-counterfeiting measures.
Bessent, in a tense exchange with Representative Joyce Beatty, a Black Democrat from Ohio, was asked in May 2025 whether he could provide an update on the status of the Tubman bill. "I can't, my staff will get back to you," he replied.
While no new person has been put on U.S. paper currency since 1928, some officials in the current Trump administration have sought to put the Republican president's face on a proposed $250 bill to mark the United States' 250th anniversary of independence.
When asked why the Treasury Department is not moving forward with a $20 note with Tubman's image while making preparations for a $250 bill with Trump's portrait, Bessent told Spectrum News: "The 250 requires an act of Congress, because you can't have a living person (on U.S. currency), and it was to commit [sic] – for the 250th anniversary."
"For us to change an existing bill, whether it's $1 through $100, takes many years in advance," he added.
