Compliance, conformity, obedience... have become the hallmarks of a decaying American democracy. You must write letters praising the Big Brother Dear Leader Donald Trump, you must not make critical comments regarding the Big Brother's policies, children are brainwashed into reciting the Pledge of Allegiance every morning .... This is life in Communist China, in Communist North Korea... This was life under Hitler's Nazi Germany.
Trump wants all Americans to conform and comply and never ask questions. Reporters are insulted every day at the White Outhouse by Trump lashing out at them if they dare ask questions he doesn't like to answer. He typically reacts to these questions by labeling the reporter stupid, low IQ, and other insults. Many reporters have been in fact banned from said White Outhouse because they dare ask such questions that offends the Big Brother Dear Leader.
Sociologists and psychologists for decades have studied the mystery behind how tens of millions of Germans fell into strict obedience and compliance with Hitler's criminality. They need not go far to examine the same phenomenon in the US today: The American people have mysteriously abandoned their self-proclaimed love for liberty and democracy and their disdain for dictators, and have fallen for Trump's Fascist bullshit.
No decent democractic advanced country forces its schoolchildren to recite a so-called "pledge of allegiance" every morning. Religious schools do that by forcing children to recite prayers before school starts. In the United Arab Emirates - the so-called allies of the US - where the population is 80% foreigners who actually run the country for the barbarian natives, non-UAE, non-Muslim children are forced to recite the UAE Islamic pledge of allegiance in their own private schools every morning. No wonder there is affinity between those barbarians and their American allies.
In the story below, notice the teacher's comment: "Since you live in this country and enjoy its freedom, if you don’t like it, you should go back to your country". According to this Fascist way of thinking, living in any country imposes on you to express your submission to its government because that government is "granting" you the favor of freedom. Also, the schoolgirl in question is Palestinian: She has no country to go back to because the USrael is making sure that Palestine is completely erased from history, geography, and the roster of nations.
I've heard that phrase - "if you don't like it, you should go back to your country" - so many times uttered by Americans who themselves or their own parents or grandparents fled countries that demanded they pledge allegiance to a king, a despot, a monarch or a dictator. Those same Americans whose undocumented grandparents and great grandparents invaded without being invited, pilfered, mass murdered, raped and exterminated the indigenous populations of the American continent north and south.

DETROIT (AP) — The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit Wednesday on behalf of a 14-year-old student who said a teacher humiliated her for refusing to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in protest of U.S. support of Israel's war in Gaza.
Danielle Khalaf's teacher told her, “Since you live in this country and enjoy its freedom, if you don’t like it, you should go back to your country,” according to the lawsuit.
Danielle, whose family is of Palestinian descent, declined to recite the Pledge over three days in January.
“We can only marvel at the conviction and incredible courage it took for her to follow her conscience and her heart,” ACLU attorney Mark Fancher said.
The lawsuit says her teacher admonished her and told her she was being disrespectful.
As a result, Danielle “suffered extensive emotional and social injuries,” including nightmares, stress and strained friendships, the lawsuit says.
The ACLU and the Arab American Civil Rights League said Danielle's First Amendment rights were violated, and the lawsuit seeks a financial award.
“It was traumatizing, it hurt and I know she could do that to other people,” Danielle said at a news conference in February, referring to the teacher's treatment.
At that time, the school district said it had taken “appropriate action,” though it didn't elaborate.
“Discrimination in any form is not tolerated by Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and is taken very seriously,” the district said.
The school district declined Wednesday to comment further, citing the litigation.
Michigan has more than 300,000 residents of Middle Eastern or North African descent, second in the U.S. behind California, according to the Census Bureau.
