Radical extreme-right MAGA GOP Christian Zionists persist in pushing for the Israeli genocide against Palestinians, and yet they are surprised (or pretend to be surprised) by antisemitic violence that follows. Especially since these insidious colonial terrorists continue to defend the propaganda formula of [Jew = Zionist = Israeli] that stunts any moderate criticism of the barbarity unleashed on innocent children and women in Palestine.
There is not one iota of criticism that is allowed. It is immediately lumped into the ever-expanding definition of the over-fermented notion of antisemitism.
After the horrific attack on Jews in Boulder, Colo., GOP-Zionist shills immediateloy cried foul over the antisemitic attack, when any sane person can see that the attack was not motivated by hatred of Jews but by the agony of watching the ethnic cleansing, starvation and mass murder by foreign Israeli settlers against the native indigenous population of Palestine.
Funny how Donald Dumb, the high priest of Christian Zionists and radical extremist Jews did not include Egypt in his ban on Muslim countries in the aftermath of the attack: The attacker in Boulder, Colorado was an Egyptian national who overstayed his visa. Why? Because this whole affair is not about justice and fairness, nor is it about meeting the challenge with a proportionate response; No. It is strictly about politics. Egypt is one of the Arab Muslim countries with a useless "fig leaf" peace treaty with Israel. Egypt recives some $5 billion a year from Donald Dumb to stay in this filthy useless accord. But racism must go on: Let's ban travel from a dozen Muslim countries, except the one that sent the Egyptian terrorist to Boulder, CO. This is like George W Bush who chartered special planes to evacuate the entire family of the 9-11 mastermind terrorist Osama bin Laden from the US.
The suspect is an Egyptian Muslim who attacked the gathered Jews while shouting “Free Palestine.” He did not shout, "Jews are evil", or "Jews are guilty of the blood libel" or any of the other genuinely antisemitic falshoods. His attack was motivated by the horror inflicted by Israelis on innocent women and children we all have been watching streaming live on our screens.
The Zionist propaganda is clear: Dehumanize ANYTHING and ANYONE with sympathy for Palestine. Students protesting for a Free Palestine, including many Jewish students, are violently repressed by police, by their own universities, and by the government. The crime of Zionist propaganda is to equate these student demonstrations with terrorism: It is a stupid argument but it works on the largely ignorant American masses. The crime of the Zionist apologists is to equate ANY critique of Israel with antisemitism. I have issued the challenge of finding one piece, one document, one article, one opinion in which a critique of Israel's barbarity is not attacked as antisemitic. None found yet. Israel is a sacred untouchable cow.
This is the challenge of our time: How to get out of the straitjacket of the Zionist hold over the American intellect. It must be as difficult as it was during the 1930s-1940s for a German to criticize Hitler's Nazi movement.
In recent months we have witnessed not only the hideous cancelation of students who were simply expressing their conscience as decent human beings, their deportation, their imprisonment, and the destruction of their lives. When pro-Israel demonstrators continue to advocate for the mass murder, genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestine, they are not met with the opprobrium it deserves. How can any decent human being endorse and advocate for the mass killing of millions of indigenous people by foreign settlers of their land? What Israel is doing is state-terrorism: Starvation as a weapon of war; the endless displacement of the indigenous population by a foreign occupier is a crime against humanity; applauding the targeted killings of doctors, humanitarian aid workers, and journalists by such unreliable charlatan Zionist propaganda organizations like the Anti-Defamation League... Aren't these the summun of human indecency and barbarity?
Pundits discuss 24-7 the whole circus of misery and barbarity in Palestine, but none dares say the obvious lest they be accused of antisemitism: Zionist Israel wants to get rid of 5 million indigenous Palestinians by killing, expelling, eradicating, demolishing, bombing, raping, spoiling, stealing.... these and many other verbs describe the fundamentals of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Zionists do not want Palestine to exist, and they are doing everything with that objective in mind. Everything else is distracting details.
Decent students and future leaders at some of our top schools are part of the solution. Recently,
MIT’s graduation was celebrated by a student speaker, Megha Vemuri, who
donned the patriotic Palestinian symbol of the keffiyeh and told the commencement audience,
“We are watching Israel try to wipe out Palestine off the face of the
earth, and it is a shame that MIT is a part of it.” She also accused MIT
of complicity “in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.” Couldn't be more true. It takes courage to risk your life and career by opposing the Zionist lobby.
MIT’s president, Sally Kornbluth - a non-Zionist Jew - did not comply with the unspoken Zionist diktat of accusing Vemuri of antisemitism; she did not refute Vemuri’s declaration; instead, she stepped to the podium and defended the student's freedom of expression by saying, “At MIT, we believe in freedom of expression. But today is about the graduates.”
ALL the graduates. Of all nationalities. Of all origins. Of all orientations. Palestinians as much as Israelis.
Kudos to MIT for standing up to the fascists and the exterminators of others.
Increasingly, it is progressives like Ilhan Omar and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez who are leading the exit from the Zionist stanglehold on our lives and our minds. It is perfectly Okay to criticize a genocidal Israel. It is not antisemitism. It is our duty to speak up against barbarity. Nothing justifies what Israel is doing in Palestine.
Zionist apologists claim that supporting Palestine and opposing
Israel constitute antisemitism. In the US, there is no room for unscrambling a Free Palestine call from the filthy accusation of antisemitism. In the US, there is no acceptable opposition to the actions of the Israeli
government. Any such opposition or critique is immediately funneled into the intellectually stultifying blockage of the antisemitic accusation. This renders a meaningful search for peace a futile exercise, and that is the objective of the Zionists: The less we talk about peace, the less chance there is for peace. The less we say the word "Palestine", the less there will be a Palestine. Eradicating Palestine is not just with the barbarity of mass murder of Palestinians by Israeli Jews, it is also accomplished by eradicating the word, the name, the idea, the country as a nation, from the minds. Hence the censorship and repression that are being viciously implemented on any discourse about Palestine.
The irony is that Jews in America have long been the victims of genuine antisemitism from the extremist right-wingers - white Christian supremacists, neo-Nazis, the Christian Zionists and the Zionists themselves, whose leader is none else than Donald Dumb himself who claims to defend Israel by punishing free expression at Columbia and Harvard. With friends like Donald Dumb and his followers, Jews don't need enemies. By sleeping with their real enemies for the convenient aid they receive in their genocide of Palestine, the Jews are shooting themselves in the foot. One day, they will have no friends whatsoever left.
Throughout its journey as an artificial country, a western colony in the Near East, Israel has not tried to make friends with those it claims to want to live in peace with. Israel has consistently missed every opportunity to make genuine peace with the Palestinians for one simple reason: Israel has always lied to its Palestinian partners, it has set them up, it has incited them against one another and against itself, only to turn around and claim it has no peace partner, and all of it because it wants the whole land from the river to the sea sans Palestinians. The dilemma of this posture is gigantic: How to get rid of 5 million prolific indigenous Palestinians, not to mention the 3 million already living as Israeli citizens, when the pool of potential Aliyah candidates is shrinking at alarming rates?
The US government must protect free speech criticizing Israel or supporting Palestine. So far, it has consistently failed to uphold its own values because it is seized by the Zionist lobby's propaganda that prohibits any criticism of Israel's barbarity. We need to be freed from the Zionist intellectual equivalent of Alcatraz. Defending a nation under an illegal colonial occupation is not a crime. It is a moral and political obligation. Of all countries at the UN, only two support the blind American veto against a ceasefire in Palestine: Israel of course, and the Marshall islands, a puny irrelevant island nation held hostage by the US government. Otherwise, the US is the most isolated on the question of Palestine.
Pretty soon, 99.99% of countries around the world would be recognizing the State of Palestine, including the historic allies of the US. Europe in particular seems to have shed its Holocaust-inflicted guilt and is speaking more freely against Israel's colonial barbarity. The US will, unfortunatley, be dragged kicking a screaming to join the moving train for peace. Time for the Zionist ultra-religious barbarians in the Israeli government to reckon that violence will never ensure peace for Israel and that Palestinians are a resilient nation that will never surrender to its rapist.
