The US Army trains its soldiers to kill. The adultering drunkard Secretary of Hore Pete Hegseth wants them to "look" even more warrior-like.
Then, these trained-to-kill individuals - who according to Bob Dylan join the army because they initially fail at everything else - are released into civilian life with a lot of unsettling baggage:
1- The fact that they join the army because they failed in civilian life is already a sign of disturbed psyches.
2- In civilian life, they have no enemies to kill so the dissonance begins.
3- Then they are released in a genetically violent society with a history of vile racism and ethnic cleansing, which makes life very stressful for already disturbed individuals.
4- US society is rife with violent imagery turned into heroism by Hollywood, and
5- It is easier to buy lethal weapons in the US than it is to buy an antibiotic. The NRA, which has long been the armed wing of the GOP, is an incubator of white supremacist militias and survivalist racist nativists. The second amendment is but a pretext to organize these criminals into armed mobs like the one that overtook Congress on January 6, 2021.
All of this is the reason why many of America's daily folkoric mass killings turn out to be carried out by US army veterans and former soldiers. Trained to kill but without real enemies, they invent enemies in schools, churches, bars, universities....or travel overseas to warring countries to satisfy their urges and obsessions with killing people.
The disturbed Craig Austin Lang below in fact killed a couple in Florida to steal their money and use that money to go kill even more people in Ukraine. The US import-smuggles a lot of illicit drugs via the drug cartels it works with, while export-smuggling weapons in a barter exchange to the drug cartels themselves, and also all over the world to fuel wars it then claims to want to stop for the sake of peace.
And to add insult to injury, many former and current US army personnel are being cowered into submission by the example of persecuting army veteran and senator Mark Kelly for disagreeing with Trump. In so doing, The adultering drunkard Secretary of Hore Pete Hegseth is telling his "warriors" to shut up and never criticize the ruling regime, just like in a good old banana republic.
Hegseth announced Monday the review of Mark Kelly has risen to an “official Command Investigation,” after Kelly and other congressional Democrats reminded soldiers of their duty to disobey illegal orders. Like a good old dictator of a banana republic, Donald Dumb did indeed call for their execution.
Adultering drunkard white supremacist and Jesus-saved moron Hegseth doesn't think for himself. He can't because his brain has shriveled due from his chronic booze-imbibing. He just does what his senile moron boss tells him to do. Hegseth is more like a puppet.Kelly told reporters following the briefing the Pentagon still has not reached out to him about the investigation and argued the department is targeting him “for something I said that was lawful.”
In response to the probe launched against him, Kelly said, “This is all a bunch of bulls‑‑‑, and the reason why, I think, is because this is just about sending a message to retired service members, active duty service members, government employees: Do not speak out against this president, or there will be consequences”.
The other display of cowardice and stupidity by GOP Trump sycophants is that they are creating precedents that never existed before in US government. “These [Senate] members are going to be here after this administration’s gone. We’re creating a precedent that everybody should expect could be used against them,” one GOP senator said. In other words, those republican imbeciles who are now doing Trump's illegal bidding will themselves be on the chopping block once Congress and the addministration fall into Democrat hands. What an orgy of investigations and hearings this will be!
Even some Republicans who are more ardent supporters of the president indicated they have questions about whether the investigation is warranted. The homosexual couthern pro-Trump conservative christian senator Lindsey Graham from the backward state of South Carolina has half a ball in his scrotum and talks from both sides of his crooked mouth: He told reporters he didn’t believe taking part in the video was “very wise” on Kelly’s part, thus kissing Trump's behind, but then added “But I don’t know if it broke any laws", thus kissing his fellow senators' behinds.

Ex-US soldier gets consecutive life sentences for killing couple to fund Venezuela mercenary fighting plans

A former U.S. soldier who fought in Ukraine was sentenced to two life terms for killing a Florida couple during a robbery intended to fund his travel to Venezuela to fight the government of Nicolás Maduro, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Craig Austin Lang, 35, was convicted in September on federal charges, including robbery and conspiring to kill persons in a foreign country. He was previously extradited from Ukraine, where he had volunteered to fight against Russian separatists.
"Lang’s alleged conduct is shocking in its scope and its callous disregard for human life," Nicole Argentieri, principal deputy assistant attorney general of the Department of Justice’s criminal division, previously said in a statement.
Craig Austin Lang, an ex-US soldier, was extradited from Ukraine to the U.S. to face multiple federal indictments, including murder, dating back to 2019.
Lang and another former soldier, Alex Jared Zwiefelhofer, killed Serafin "Danny" Lorenzo Jr. and Deana Lorenzo, who traveled from Brooksville to Estero, in April 2018 during what the couple believed was a meeting to buy guns advertised on "Armslist," an online marketplace, federal prosecutors said.

The pair had brought $3,000 and were ambushed in a parking lot and shot multiple times, authorities said. The robbery was intended to fund travel plans for Lang and Zwiefelhofer to Venezuela, where they hoped to join a paramilitary group.
Lang was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 2014 before joining the far-right Ukrainian nationalist military group known as Right Sector two years later, according to The Washington Post.
Craig Austin Lang, an ex-U.S. soldier, faces three federal indictments in three states dating back to 2019 after fighting extradition from Ukraine for years, the Department of Justice said.
Lang and Zwiefelhofer had previously fought in Ukraine and intended to travel to fight in other conflicts.
Zwiefelhofer was convicted in 2024 and sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison.
