In response to a MAGA moron who says "he din't vote for this", one person said the truth,
They (Trump voters) liked the racism. They just don't like the inconvenience that other people's suffering is now causing them. They are lost now because their landscaper, their cleaning lady, their painter, their fruit picker.... have been abducted by ICE. The inconvenience is now overtaking their racism.
I am not sure which label best applies to what the US is becoming under Trump. His ICE Gestapo is recruiting with generous bonuses unvetted or poorly vetted ex-criminals because they are best at harassing, beating, breaking-in, and other illegal means aiming at ridding the country of as many people with brown or dark skin as possible, regardless of their legal or US citizenship status. This is akin to ethnic cleansing of an "undesirable" segment of the population, with the intent of removing those immigrants who - in Donald Trump's own words - "are poisoning the blood of our country". Some have even suggested Trump is inspired directly from Adolf Hitler.

Is ICE a subsidiary of the KKK? Are ICE agents neo-Nazis going after dark-skinned people like the Gestapo went after Jewish Germans? Is Trump trying to return the US to a time when American Apartheid (Segregation, Jim Crow laws, etc.) was the norm?
You can't pretend to be arresting "illegal migrants" by harassing everyday US-born Americans with brown or black skin color. Racial profiling is not fitting the demographic composition of an immigrant country like the US. Were the Nazis harassing everyday Germans who "looked" Jewish? There may be thousands of illegal migrants with an "acceptable-looking" skin color.... do they get a free ride and escape detection because their slightly "whiter" skin color doesn't make them "eligible" to be harassed and persecuted?
But the US has had a long history of barbarian racism, straight from its crib. So, not very surprising that the country's reactionary conservative neanderthals try every other generation to crawl out of their stagnant swamps and impose their barbarity on the trest of the country. But they always fail, in a pattern that resembles the stock market graphs: Three steps forward, two steps backward, which a long term trajectory of upward, forward movement.
Every generation of conservative reactionaries tries to take the country backwards. But they can't take it backward ALL THE WAY, because the social, economic and political gains that preceded them by a generation or two become established and cannot be rescinded. If Trump's barbarian Christian Evangelicals think they can confine women back to the kitchen and treat them like disposable child incubators, it ain't gonna work. Too late. If If Trump's barbarian Christian Capitalists think they can take the country back to a time when workers and employees worked 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, without vacations and social benefits, it ain't gonna work. They might score a little victory here and there, they might convince a few morons (like Texas, Alabama and other Cro-magnon moron-led states) to accept to return to a medieval social contract, they might manage to take the country two steps backward. But history tells us that the next generation that follows a conservative regression will be so outraged that it over-compensates and goes farther in revolutionizing the status quo ante.
What was the New Deal of Franklin D. Roosevelt (Wide-reaching economic, social, and political reforms enacted between 1933 and 1938, in response to the Great Depression) than a reaction to the disastrous conservative financial and social policies and practices of the 1920s that climaxed in the 1929 crash? Same thing with the conservative policies of the Reagan and Bushes and the Wall Street greed that preceded the 2008 crash, followed by the Obama presidency that fixed the economy and attempted a new deal-like policy on heathcare.
Trump is an imbecile if he thinks he can alter the genetic map of the American population by weeding out some races. Unlike Germany and Europe during their Fascist era, the US IS BY DEFINITION A COUNTRY OF IMMIGRATION. No one in the US can claim to "own" the country: Everyone is an immigrant, one- two- three- or four-generations removed. Immigrants (wilful or forced or even illegal) made this country. Immigrants built this country. If this country is a great country, it is not because of Trump's illiterate ignorant redneck peasants of the interior (who themselves were also immigrants) who think they own the country because they may have gotten there first. If this country is a great country, it is precisely because smart, innovative, creative, educated, scientifically-literate immigrants continue to arrive and seed the otherwise stagnant hinterland with new ideas.
Trump's reactionary conservative episode will be nothing but a transient interlude in the history of the country. He is asking the American people to be patient before his bullshit policies somehow start working. I ask the American people to be patient until this jackass and his submissive slaves get out of our lives so we can start rebuilding this country with even more forward policies than ever imagined.
The only alternative to this three-steps forward, two-steps backward "natural" cycle is a descent into the hell of a civil war not much unlike that of 1861, when the backward conservatives tried to secede from the union to preserve their primitive policies.

Well, one MAGA voter isn't happy with the actions of ICE and wrote a post addressing, in their view, an "abuse of power."

The MAGA voter began by explaining that they voted for ICE to deport violent criminals — not their neighbors.

[YES YOU DID, YOU MAGA MORON, YOU VOTED FOR THIS. YOU KNEW DONALD TRUMP WAS A CHEATER, A MAN OF SORDID CHARACTER, A LIAR, A RACIST, A FAKE CHRISTIAN, AN ADULTERER, A SEDITIOUS CRIMINAL WHO TRIED TO SUBVERT THE CONSTITUTION, A CONVICTED FELON... BUT YOU STILL VOTED FOR HIM. YOU WERE EITHER STUPID OR AS MUCH A HATEFUL CRIMINAL AS HE IS TO VOTE FOR HIM]

In the comment sections, people aren't exactly on the MAGA voter's side for calling out ICE's behavior.
"The thing that always amazes me is how surprised they are. They didn’t vote for THIS. Narrator: 'But they voted for this,'" one user wrote.
"You could have voted for the lady who said she would sign a pretty damn conservative border bill that would have made the border much more secure without all this cruelty, but nope, you couldn't be bothered by that," another user said, referring to Kamala Harris's campaign promise.

"I love knowing I’ll never experience the shame of ever voting for this," this person said.
"They ignored that the person they voted for thinks, or at least sold the idea that 'if you're here illegally, then you are a criminal.' They liked the racism. They just don't like the inconvenience that other people's suffering is now causing them," this person said.
