Texas is sooo MAGA Republican: Its Education System Sucks and is Corrupt

Not suprising: When you rank among the lowest of the states in your level of education, you vote republican. Mediocre education goes hand in hand with Texas full of white backwoods, stupidly religious, bigoted sex maniac republicans. Check my other postings on the deluge of so-called evangelical pro-Trump church elders and pastors in Texas exposed for their adulteries and sex abuse of children and women.

But lack of education is not only rooted in primitive religious beliefs, it is caused by rampant corruption at the highest levels of the republican administration of the State of Texas.

A teacher certification scandal is rocking the Houston area, according to Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg. The scheme involved hundreds of teachers taking false examinations, given out by the education officials who charged per certificate, and many of which are falsely certified. This is what Republicans did in 2020, and plan to do in 2024, to falsely certify election ballots such that Republican votes are counted, while Democrat votes are thrown out. Texas, the dumb Lone Star state, is indeed a banana republic where crime, garbage, corruption and religion are rampant.

The cheating ring include at least five people allegedly involved in the cheating scandal leading to fraudulently certified teachers working in the district. Thus, in addition to backward religiosity, hatred of science, and primitive "cowboy" mentality, unqualified people are teaching in Texas, which explains the State's ranking at 38 in education. In the chart below, it's not only Texas among the bottom feeders of education, but all Republian-voting states (dark blue) are. Which means that the uneducated riff raff of this country vote for Donald Trump in those states that contribute the least to the country's advances in technology and that make it a powerful country. Yet, they claim to want to make American great again by taking it back to the 17th century with repressive laws and choosing the bible over biology and physics for their education.

At least three of those charged were Houston Independent School District (HISD) employees, including two assistant principals and a high school basketball coach.

Officials believe the basketball coach at Booker T. Washington High School was the ringleader and that he made about $1 million from the scheme, charging $2,500 per certificate, although some paid more.

Ogg said the scheme goes back as far as May 2020, and it is believed that hundreds of tests have been faked and investigators say at this time approximately 20 teachers have come forward with confessions.

"The extent of this scheme will never be fully known, but we know that at least 400 tests were taken and at least 200 teachers falsely certified," Ogg said, adding that at least two of those who paid to obtain the fake certification were also charged with indecency with a child as well as online solicitation of a minor. In other words, they are uneducated, corrupt, religious and sex criminals and abusers. What a lovely combination to be proud of.

Each defendant in the scheme faces two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity.

"The most important thing to me is that the ringleaders have been identified and are being routed out of our home school district. The fact that they held positions of power there, where they were held in esteem by the children, is the very worst part of this crime," Ogg said.

"Additionally, if it is determined that any teachers currently working in HISD participated in this scheme or passed their certification exams fraudulently, we will take swift action to terminate their employment with the District."

Texas and the Republicans in general want to abolish the federal Department of Education. Now you know why. They prefer to have their own private haven of illiteracy and corruption, with reliance on biblical bullshit to replace science in their curriculum.
