America-style democracy, as I have always argued here, has a knack for bringing mediocrity to the top. The election of the illiterate convicted felon Donald Dumb was fair and free. The solidity of collective American dumbness proved itself when it voted en masse earlier this month.
Let the chips fall where they may. His picks for cabinet positions are consistent with his past as an ignorant asshole surrounded by lackeys and yes-men and yes-women. With Donald Dumb, it is not competence and qualifications that he looks for in his associates. It is not even loyalty as someone described it that he demands from his sycophants, it is fealty, just like hazing rituals in stupid teenage Greek fraternities across US campuses.
So Democrats should play along and stop developing ulcers over the elections. We must acknowledge that our electorate is a tumorigenic mass of illiterate imbeciles trained and conditioned by decades of Hollywood mind-altering crap of sentimental patriotism based on violence. America does not ask its people to be smart. It doesn't want its people to be smart and educated, because that would liberate them from the chokehold its corporations have on them. It tells people that happiness comes only from money and conformity to the asinine myths invented to tame all the backward peasants of the boonies of Europe, and that they should not rock the boat in which they are captive because that would be "unpatriotic". Americans are brainwashed into thinking that spending their money on things they don't really need is their patriotic duty to drive the economy and make the corporations that run the country wealthier and more powerful.
Matt Gaetz is unqualified and a sexual predator? Fine, if this is who the American people want for Attorney General. The dumb voters knew that by electing an unqualified sexual predator and a tax cheating adulterer, he will surround himself by like-minded people. Gaetz says he wants to dismantle the FBI and other institutions that make up his favorite boogeyman, the "Deep State", which in fact is the only ensemble of institutions that make the American machine work every day.
Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Idiocy? Great! John Bolton, who is as far right as anyone can be, yet is a smart educated experienced fellow who slammed the door on Trump during the idiot's first term is literally fuming and suffering a nervous breakdown at Trump's choices, mostly TV fools and jesters serving in the court of King Trump. Apparently, with Gabbard, our allies will no longer share intelligence with the U.S. Why? Why would you share "intelligence" with dumb assholes? Other respectable Republican lawmakers, including Adam Kinzinger and Mitt Romney have accused her of spreading Russian propaganda.
Robert Kennedy, Jr., as secretary of Health and Human Services? It should be absolutely hilarious to watch this creep juggle his asinine wormed brain and ideas with a science he doesn't understand. He's got a worm in his brain and a frog in his throat. The man wants American babies to stop getting vaccines because he, the incult maniac, says vaccines cause autism. So my fellow Americans with babies: Would you prefer that your child dies of rabies, tetanus, polio, smallpox, measles, pertussis etc.. as the quack fake healer, modern-day shaman and voodoo priest, the charlatan, snake-oil salesman that RFK, Jr. is wants you to do?
Billionnaire Elon Musk in charge of Government Efficiency? I told you. Americans have been made to believe that rich people are rich because they are smart. The reverse theorem is therefore: If you're not wealthy, then you must be an idiot. But most rich people are wealthy because they either inherit their wealth or they "outsmart" the system with criminal schemes (Trump fits both of these descriptions) or because they exploited dumber Americans into buying stuff they don't need, or buying bad processed food that makes them sick and run to buy drugs made by the large pharmeceutical corporations. Just like Trump, Musk does start businesses that rely heavily on really smart immigrant engineers, technicians and scientists, many of whom likely did not vote for Trump.
In other words, let us sit back, have a drink and watch these imbeciles hit rock bottom as they dismantle everything that actually made America great. It will be fun, despite the sadness of seeing absolute creeps tear down decades of development and improvements of our lives since Roosevelt's New Deal.
The voters will only have themselves to blame when Trump starts toning down all the outlandish promises he made during his campaign. Deport 20 millions? Watch him deport a few thousands only and face the reality that this will cause labor shortages. Make peace in every finch's ass place around the world? Watch him betray our allies to cater to other autocrats and war criminals and unsuccessfully try to force people fighting for their freedom and giving him a giant middle finger. During his first term, he kissed ass to every dictator out there so they lay low and give a false impression of friendly relations. This jackass does not understand the real world. His pathetic marketing skills rely heavily on "perception", something they teach you in cheap business schools. Everything Trump did in his first term was shiny with superficial perception and lacked any susbtance. That is why the dumb half of the country voted for him. In the Near East, his Abrahamic accords have failed because they had no susbtance on dealing with the real issue. He's not smart enough, as John Bolton keeps repeating, he doesn't have the intellect or the knowledge to understand the world, let alone the enemies of his country.
