Adultery-born Church of Fornicating England Discovers Pedophilia and Homosexuality

Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has resigned. Just like Catholic popes, archbishops, bishops and priests, he knew and covered the sexual abuse of children by his holy Anglican members down the chain of command. 

How can these people, whose Anglican Church was born out of the adultery and debauchery of a king, look people in the eye and justify their existence as a decent religion? The Church of England even followed the colonial barbarity of Great Britain around the world and disseminated its divine message - and in all likelihood the gonadal products of its missionaries - to brutalized colonized Africans, Indians, and others who, even today, after all we know, continue to stick to this side-arm of the foreign colonial enterprise.

One John Smyth, a devout Anglican who wanted to serve the Church of England by running evangelical camps for boys - he preferred boys obviously - died a few years ago. But now, at least 30 fornicating Anglican clergy members of the Church of England face exposure and dissmissal for covering up the most prolific child abuser in the institution’s history.

Following the Archbishop of Canterbury’s resignation over his failure to prevent the “prolific, brutal and horrific” abuse, Smyth’s victims have called for two bishops and an associate minister to follow suit. Despite knowledge of Smyth’s abuse at the highest levels of the Church, an investigation was initiated only in 2017 after Smyth was identified by a television news report.

Smyth died the following year at the age of 75, and so escaped investigation and justice. But as the devout Christian that he was, justice will likely be meted out in Heaven while he sits at the right side of Jesus.

A former social services director, Keith Makin, published a report last week reviewing the facts. It found that Smyth’s abuse was covered up by “powerful evangelical clergy”. At least 30 individuals who still hold posts within the Church were identified and now face termination.

One of the individuals on the list, the Most Reverend Canon Andrew Cornes, is a member of the Crown Nominations Committee, the secretive body responsible for appointing the next Archbishop of Canterbury. Sounds very much like the Catholic Church's mysterious ways by which God operates.

Despite Canon Cornes being informed of Smyth’s abuse by a victim in 1982, according to the review, he remains in the running to help select the Archbishop’s successor. 1982? Some forty years during which the adulterous Church of fornicating England protected a rapist and sodomizer of boys placed in his care. He must have amplified the fire of his faith by instructing the little ones in the ways and life of sweet and meek Jesus while his hands and reproductive organs rummaged through their bodies.

It turns out that the Church of England has a "safeguarding" body led by bishops, directors and other holy people with fancy titles, but which apparently has failed for at least 40 years in Symth's case. Lord only knows how many other "Smyths" lurk beneath the venerable robes and alluring colors. 

The Makin report reveals that the fornicating Gay Church of England conducted a so-called “mapping exercise” in 2017 to identify those who covered up Smyth’s abuse of boys, which means that the Church has had these names for seven years before doing anything about them.

In September 1982, one of Smyth’s victims confided in Canon Cornes. It was the first time the victim had spoken to anyone about the abuse. Then, according to the Makin review, Canon Cornes “was unsurprised that John Smyth had homosexual tendencies”. Woops! It has always been assumed that only the Catholic Church draws homosexuals who "hear the call to the vocation" to become priests because they can hide their gayness beneath the cloak of the chastity vow. But liberal Anglican Church too?

Said liberal Anglican Church has of course women up and down the clergy hierarchy whose Christian compassion apparently extends to rapists and abusers of boys. For example, Rev Dr Jo Bailey Wells, the Bishop of Episcopal Ministry at the Anglican Communion Office in London, and the Rev Sue Colman, associate minister at St Leonard’s Church, Oakley. Both were identified in the Makin review as having prior knowledge of allegations about Smyth but remained mute.

The abuser, feu John Smyth, was a barrister and a Christian camp leader. According to to the Anglican equivalent of the Guiness Book of Records, he abused at least 130 boys and young men (those we know of) over four decades and across three continents - he was an equal opportunity non-racist non-discriminating abuser - an illustrous career which sadly ended when he died at the age of 75 in the former British colony of Cape Town, South Africa, in August 2018.

Churches seem to be a species on its way to extinction, what with science and the obsolescence of primitive religious beliefs. Just as conservationists breed threatened species in captivity before releasing them back into the wild, perhaps the clergy of many churches sould be sequestered in captivity and encouraged to breed at infinitum: The inbreeding will by itself toll the extinction bell for a useless and otherwise dangerous species.
