Colonialism II: America and the Arabs

Israel prides itself on having defeated the Arab countries in 1948 and 1967. These Arab states are the ones who opposed the creation of the state of Israel in 1947, and by doing so gave hope to the Palestinian people and continued to support them with words, but not deeds, for the decades that followed.

The defeat of Arab states in their wars against Israel lent credence to the Israeli annexanonist program: We defeated the "Arabs", therefore we can mutilate Palestine and its Palestinian "Arabs", which Israel never stopped doing ever since with the programmed dehumanization, denial of identity, theft of homes and land, uprooting of millennial olive orchards, denial of permits to expand homes and villages, collective punishment for legitimate resistance against a brutal occcupation, illegal colonization with terrorist settlers, etc.

The Arabs saw all these crimes, yet one by one, they were bribed by the Americans with illusory tacky, shiny and cheap development, and lost sight of the rape of Palestine by European colonizers. They thus abandoned the Palestinians to their fate, and made peace with Israel. But their peoples know that as long as Israel does not recognize that its creation was done by raping Palestine, the Arab Near East remains an American colony.

Colonialism used to rest on sending thousands of troops to underdeveloped regions and nations, and pilfering their resources under the pretense of "developing" and "civilizing". Now, the colonizers still have troops, though not on the streets or in government buildings, but inside bases from which they still run the place. And, to convince the colonized Arabs, the Americans and their European poodles use the Iranian scarecrow: We're here with fleets and troops to protect you against Iran. And all of this colonialism is camouflaged under a "cultural friendship" cloak with transplant universities and museums, high-rise buildings, fancy investment companies, and all sorts of soulless marketing of all things western. The Arabs, engorged with Coca-Cola and McDonald's, brainwashed ad eternum with violent Hollywood movies, and otherwise stuffed to the hilt with every bit of American consumerist trash, think that they have "developed" sufficiently to become respectable in the eyes of their colonizers. Just watch some of the American television outlets geared to the Arabian Gulf, and that includes CNN, OSN, and others and see for yourself what the Americans and their European lackeys feed the peoples of the Arabian Gulf: except for your traditional dress, you have to become like us.

But this is still colonialism. I speak often with westerners who have spent time in the Emirates and other Gulf countries, and the hypocrisy cannot be more obvious: Withour exception, they all describe Dubai for example as an artificial, soulless, bureaucratic - almost Kafkesque - imitation of the West, a sort of Las Vegas - without the sins - with its simili Louvre Museum, its fake British and American university campuses, etc.  Those westerners do not hesitate to say that all of this glitz could just disappear in a flash: It was all copy-paste transplanted and has no roots.

Money can buy you lots of things, but your soul can only be bought by you-know-who and at an exorbitant price.

Just like the 19th and 20th century colonialism came to an end and left behind it societies and nations in search for who they were prior to the arrival of the European thieves, slave traders, genociders, and cultural supremacists, this 21st century colonialism will also come to an end one day and these culturally-enslaved Arab countries will start searching for the soul they lost.

For now, the first shockwave of the end of this second insidious form of colonialism is unfolding before our eyes: The Gaza genocide at the hands of the Israeli-American colonizers has unraveled all the fictitious pretenses to "normalization" whose sole objective was to bilk those Arabs of money they have without any idea what to do with.

The preceived shock of the October 7 attacks in Israel has more to do with the fact that it has brought back from the shadows the foundational crime of establishing the State of Israel in the first place. Everyone now is realizing that the majority of the millions of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank were made refugees by the creation of Israel. For a few decades, under the sedative of the "peaxce process", people began forgetting how it all came to be. But now the worldwide perception is clearer: You cannot erase the crime of removing one people (Palestine) from its land to give it to another people (European Jews) whose fake argument for doing so was the suffering inflicted on it (Holocaust), which by the way was not perpetrated by those (Palestinians) it was killing and uprooting but by those (Christian Europeans) who caused the suffering in the first place and who now pretend to be its friends.

Yes, go ahead. Normalize the rape of Palestine to consolidate the British-American colony of Israel. But beyond the barbarians at the gate, beware the sleeping domestic genies who might wake up with a simple rub of Aladin's lamp. Then again, not all your wishes might come true because it takes very little for Aladin to become Saladin.

  1. I see your main focus is playing the victim card, and considering Israel and the US as main victimizers here. You failed to inform yourself of Iranian terror proxies that have formed all over the Middle East which is the current root cause of the assault on Gaza and Lebanon. These terror proxies take over countries and victimize the people even worse. Again just look how mercifully the Assad regime handles his own people, also see what happens if you try to disarm the terror organizations in Lebanon they tried, do you remember how they reacted? You’re just too busy with the liberal victim card and virtue signaling.
