What is the matter with all these conservatives, pastors, and other "men of God", especially those from the backwater state of Texas, who say they are for family values and for holding marriage sacred, but are caught engaging in adultery and child sexual abuse? Why the hypocrisy? Why not admit that human nature is what it is and we should learn to live with it, instead of constantly pretending to be committed to a certain set of standards while violating those standards?
Ken Paxton, the sleepy-eyed biblically conservative Attonery General moron from Texas, was caught by his equally doofusly religious and conservative wife with his pants down. If the biblial garbage is their fundamental code of ethics, then the cuckolded Angela Paxton should have Ken stoned in public until death does him part from her. Read her words about how God does this and God does that... Oh, it is so sweet of her to ask for divorce when in fact she should abide by Jesus's own words and stick with her nomadically fornicating husband:
Matthew 5:32: "...but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery"
Mark 10:9: "...What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”
But in all religions, the faithful, except those we refer to as extremists or fundamentalists who take religious texts literally, use their religious code "à la carte" as if a restaurant menu from which they choose what they like and ignore the rest. Religious texts are for the most part hallucinating hubris uttered by arrogant diviners and charlatans generally known as "prophets" who told people what to do when they themselves were assuredly not better than those they were instructing.
Clearly, for all our known history, no religion has been able to solve human problems. It seems to me that religions have been more of a useless exercize in aspirational stupidity than a realization and acceptance of human nature. Instead, because of their grandiose claims that can never be proven or because their demands on their faithful can never be satisfied, religions cause frustration, anger, hatred, division, exclusions, wars, and constant bickering.
In this case, Ken Paxton, an attorney general who should know the "law" and abide by it, deviated from it but is choosing to ignore the consequences. Regardless of the sugary language this moron jerk and his stupid wife use to admit to their failure to abide by the very laws they say they subscribe to, they pick what suits them from their garbage religion and discard the rest.
This is called bigotry. Admit it, 38 years of marriage is really too much to bear.

Texas State Senator Angela Paxton has filed for divorce from the state's Attorney General Ken Paxton, citing "biblical grounds"
In her divorce filing, Angela accused Ken of adultery and said the couple hasn't lived together for over a year.
The couple has been married for 38 years and share four children and five grandchildren
Texas State Senator Angela Paxton announced her split from her husband, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, on Thursday, July 10.
"Today, after 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds," Angela wrote in a statement on X. "I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation. But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage.
"I move forward with complete confidence that God is always working everything together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose," she concluded.
Ken followed shortly after with a statement of his own, though the language he used was notably different.
"After facing the pressures of countless political attacks and public scrutiny, Angela and I have decided to start a new chapter in our lives," he wrote on X.
He added, "I could not be any more proud or grateful for the incredible family that God has blessed us with, and I remain committed to supporting our amazing children and grandchildren. I ask for your prayers and privacy at this time."

In a divorce filing obtained by Austin's NPR member station KUT and The New York Times, Angela accused Ken of adultery and revealed that the couple hadn't been living together since June 2024.
PEOPLE has reached out to Ken for additional comment.
Angela's petition reads, "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," per KUT.
The couple wed in 1986 and shares four adult children and five grandchildren. Earlier this year, Ken was not pictured in Angela's family photo from Easter on Instagram; however, he was included in past posts from Christmas 2024 and the January 2025 opening of her legislative session.
Ken, a staunch conservative, is currently running for U.S. Senate and will be facing incumbent John Cornyn in the GOP primary next spring.
The state attorney general is no stranger to controversy since taking office in 2015.
