MAGA Senator: No Need to Worry About Medicaid Cuts; We're All Going to Die Anyway

Senator Joni Ernst, a Republican MAGA idiot from the peasant backward state of Iowa reminded constituents worried about Medicaid cuts that “we are all going to die” at a town hall she held.

During the meeting in Parkersburg, Iowa, Ernst faced questions from voters concerned about proposed cuts to Medicaid and food stamp benefits. “We are going to focus on those that are most vulnerable,” Ernst tried to assure the crowd. “We will protect them. OK? Medicaid is extremely important here in the state of Iowa. ... Leave those dollars for those that are eligible for Medicaid.”

Ernst then claimed the efforts to roll back Medicaid benefits would only affect people who aren’t eligible for them, which led one woman in the crowd to yell, “People will die.”

The senator had a callous response. “People are not ― well, we all are going to die. So, for heaven’s sakes, folks,” she said while the audience jeered. That's MAGA's "common sense", which seeks to replace science and knowledge with fatalistic religious bullshit similar to Muslim fundamentalists who by deferring to God on everything become lazy bums.

For imbeciles like Ernst, the bible is the only book worth reading. No need for medical bureaucracy, no need for vaccines, just surrender to God's will which is for you to die. There's no point doing scientific research and making new discoveries. No need for all these universities whose scientific discoveries contribute to a woke culture that takes us away from God. According to these barbarians, there's no need for government either; we ought to live the settlers of the 17th century: In a log cabin out in the boonies - like Ted Kaczynski - away from any civilization, and with the trash of the bible as our only fountain of solace. 

I wonder what Joni Ernest will do when she has ovarian cancer: Will she double-down on her biblical crap and arm-raising bigoted prayers or will she go see a doctor whose knowledge and treatments are the cumulation of hundreds of years of scientific research done in the very universities that her boss Donald Dumb is trying to dismantle?
