Israel Army Aided Jewish Settler ‘Pogrom’ against Palestinian Huwara
Hundreds of Israeli terrorist settlers rampaged through Huwara and surrounding Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank on February 26, 2023 leaving at least one Palestinian man dead and hundreds of others injured. The violence was so brutal that the Israeli military commander for the West Bank called it a “pogrom,” and said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) did nothing to stop it.
An analysis of videos, testimonies from Israeli soldiers, and interviews with eyewitnesses and journalists, reveal that Israeli forces failed to stop the violence in Huwara and protect residents as terrorist Jewish settlers set fire to Palestinian homes and businesses and blocked emergency services from responding. Instead, when Palestinian residents threw rocks in reaction to the Jewish terrorists’ aggression, Israeli forces fired at the Palestinians with tear gas and stun grenades according to analysis of the footage and eyewitness accounts.
Israeli soldiers and Israel Border Police said dozens of armed forces were on the scene and were aware of the threat the Jewish terrorists posed, but did nothing to intervene. “We just let them continue to advance.” In the aftermath of the violence, Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, himself a settler terrorist leader, declared that “Huwara needs to be erased.” Palestinian residents of the town, which straddles the main road running north to south through the West Bank, have long been harassed by Jewish terrorists who squat on private Palestinian lands nearby. Now, in the wake of the violence, they said they are more terrified for their security than ever before.
As Israel’s right-wing government ramps up incendiary racist supremacist remarks to the effect that Jews are genetically superior to Arabs (though they once were one people), and has pledged to increase its authority over occupied Palestine, Jewish terrorist settler attacks have continued largely unabated. The Israeli Army, which illegally occupies Palestine, said that dozens of Israelis had “desecrated Palestinian property” and “acted violently against Palestinian residents” on February 26, but only a few were arrested then released without charges.
It all started when a Jewish terror WhatsApp group called Fighting for Life, which coordinates Jewish terrorist actions, called on members to march from two illegaal settlements: Yitzhar to the north, and Kfar Tapuach to the south. The post was disseminated on several terrorist settler WhatsApp groups and other social media, suggesting that the threat of violence should have been well known to authorities beforehand. Huwara residents said much of the Jewish terrorists on February 26 descended on their town from Yitzhar, a nearby hillside Jewish squatter settlement built illegally on privately owned Palestinian land. Members of Israel’s Parliament, the Knesset — including lawmaker Limor Son Har-Melech — were part of the WhatsApp groups.
Since Israel occupied the West Bank in 1967, the Palestinian territory slated for an independent Palestinian state, has been carved up and divided by illegal settlements in which Jewish squatters from Eastern Europe, Russia and the US have taken residence. Huwara, which is home to about 7,000 Palestinians, is surrounded on three sides by illegal Jewish migrant settlements that continually harass its native residents.
Footage showed the Jewish terrorist mob setting ablaze a parking lot full of cars, part of a dealership and repair shop at the entrance of the town — one of the small businesses that both Palestinians and Israelis would take their vehicles to be fixed in Huwara, an economic hub for the area.
“They went behind the house and started to burn the cars. They went from one car to the next. I went downstairs and there they were. They fired three bullets at me. They started to chant “Death to the Arabs, we want to wipe out Huwara,” said Hana Abu Saris, whose family owns the dealership. Near the center of Huwara, 75-year-old Nawal Dumeidi, said she and her daughters were trapped inside their home for three days after Jewish terrorists piled flammable material in front of her door and set it on fire, preventing it from opening. Her son had to come back from Dubai to free them.
She recounted hearing rocks hitting the roof of her apartment and landing on the balcony and seeing fire coming towards her. She went to try to put out the blaze with a bucket of water, but the "most moral army in the world", the 1930s and 1940s terrorist groups syndicated as the Israeli Army, fired tear gas and stun grenades at her, she said: “We were choking on the gas, it was asphyxiating. We could feel our faces burning.” She showed the tear gas canisters and stun grenades strewn on her balcony, evidence of Israeli military’s barbarity. Security camera footage showed the Jewish terrorists settlers igniting wooden logs placed by the main door to her apartment block. Israeli soldiers appear walking by without stopping the Jewish terrorist settlers from setting the fire or intervening to extinguish it. Israeli soldiers can be seen in the footage firing tear gas up at residential buildings, which the Jewish terrorists are also targeting with stones.
A Palestinian Civil Defense spokesperson said that each access point into Huwara was blocked by the Jewish terrorists, while Israeli soldiers warned the emergency services it wasn’t safe to enter. A fire truck was attacked by the Jewish terrorists with dozens of stones, forcing it to go back as the Israeli military stood by. According to a Palestine Red Crescent Society spokesperson, the emergency vehicles were ambushed by the Jewish terrorists while the military watched.
In the nearby Palestinian town of Za’tara, which was also attacked on February 26, Sameh Aqtash, a 37-year-old aid worker and father of five, was killed with a gunshot in the abdomen. His brother said that night 30 Jewish terrorists approached their village on their way to Huwara. They told them to leave. Soon after, they returned with a group of Israeli soldiers in tow. “The terrorists started throwing rocks at us, so we threw rocks back. … Then they started shooting live bullets at us, not tear gas or rubber bullets, live fire from the get-go,” he said. “Normally when the Israeli military comes, they protect the Jewish terrorist settlers. They don’t stop them from attacking areas or burning stuff, they just surround them so no one can attack them. And this is what happened when Sameh was killed.”
As of mid-May this year, the United Nations has reported 421 Jewish terror-related incidents in occupied Palestine, leading to the deaths of eight Palestinians as well as injuring hundreds and causing property damage. In the same period, Israeli forces have killed more than 100 Palestinians in the West Bank. The IDF claims that most are suspects or people engaging violently with its troops during raids, but does not offer any evidence. Self-defense by Palestinians have left 14 Jewish terrorist settlers dead in occupied Palestine this year, according to the United Nations. In fact, Shireen Abu-Akleh, an American journalist covering the Israeli terrorist raid on the Jenin refugee camp was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper on May 11, 2022 even though she wore a helmet and a large PRESS tag on her person. The US, in its customary cowardice and panic at pointing a finger at Israel (Jewish lobby holds the US by the balls, as Ariel Sharon once admitted), refused to conduct an investigation into the murder of one of its citizens. Naturally, Israel lied, then lied some more, before admitting one of its soldiers did the killing but would not be held to account.
The attacks in Huwara didn’t stop on February 26. Two Jewish terrorist settlers attacked a Palestinian man and his family, with stones and an axe, while they were in their car on March 6, authorities said.
On the evening of March 27, shortly before Palestinian residents broke their Ramadan fast at home, videos showed Israeli military forces standing by their vehicles as Jewish terrorists intimidated them and threw rocks at their cars on an otherwise quiet street. The footage also showed Israeli forces detaining residents, in some cases violently beating them. Residents in Huwara say they are still dealing with the trauma of February 26, reeling from what they described as Israeli army collusion with the Jewish terrorists, and are fearful of more Jewish violence.
The Jewish terrorist attacks against the Palestinians of Huwara are a sample of how Israel was constructed. Huwara is a miniature of how the Jewish terrorist organizations of the 1930s and 1940s like Irgun, Haganah, Lehi, Stern and others, attacked 600 Palestinian villages and towns, massacred their Palestinian indigenous residents and evicted the few remaining survivors to make way for newly arrived illegal Eastern European Jews who today make up Israel’s population. In more recent years, the Jewish terrorist squatters come for the most part from American Jewish communities in New York and Florida. That is how Israel was founded, by the genocide of Palestine, and not as the fake heroic acts often propagated by Zionist and Jewish propaganda.
The current escalation of Jewish terrorist violence against the Palestinians in occupied Palestine is seen by experts as a preparation by the extremist right-wing ultra-religious government of Israel for the seizure, “purification” and ethnic cleansing of the entire West Bank, in order to create a pure Jewish supremacist Israel, build a Jewish temple on the ruins of a demolished Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome, and wait for the return of the Messiah, according to their biblical garbage. How moral and unprimitive!
