Both diehard MAGA morons and those independent suckers who voted for him keep peeling off the Donald Dumb tattoo.
Notice that all their gripes about the senile imbecile refer to behavior he had already amply demonstrated during his campaigns. Campaign promises about policies are a secondary factor; the character of the candidate is what matters. Donald Slump is the textbook example of how not to vote. I therefore conclude that those who enabled this monster with their vote are as much morons as he is. Hope they've learned.

Former Trump Supporters Are Sharing Their "Final Straw" With Him In The Last Year, And They're Fed Up

It has been over a decade since President Donald Trump first announced his presidential run, and over a year since he assumed the presidency for a second time. With all the scandals that have been a mainstay of his career, it's tempting to wonder: Is there such a thing as too far for his supporters?
So, we asked the BuzzFeed Community and looked on Reddit to see the stories of people who had left MAGA during Trump 2.0. Here's what they said:
Quotes have been edited for length and clarity. Some submissions are from this Reddit thread.
1. "It was his support for Israel and the AI video of 'Trump Gaza' that turned me around. It was him and his followers justifying a horrific genocide (they'll never call it that, they'll call it a war) that pushed me over the edge. As a Jew, if you're looking at what's happening to innocent civilians in Palestine and have no empathy, you're inhuman and disgusting. I've distanced myself from extremist family members who still support him."

2. "He has not shown respect for anyone, he is all about himself. He does not stand for Christian principles in ruling our country, he has not saved us money. He has spent more on unnecessary things. He does not care for the poor or those without jobs. I do not trust him. He takes no responsibility for his own actions, he's just a big show off."

3. "I thought if anyone could change the direction of this country, it was him. Well, he changed it all right, but not in the way I had hoped. I bought into the whole idea of him making America great again. I thought that meant more opportunities for everyone and a reasonable cost of living. It's been the complete opposite, and it continues to get worse. The most embarrassing thing this president has done, IMO, is pour money into a ballroom while people literally starve and can't afford rent. Let them eat cake indeed."

4. "It was all the sex pests."

5. "The Iran bombing, being Netanyahu's whore, the Big Beautiful Bill, and Epstein. I feel ashamed I voted for him, I will never vote again in this country."

6. "I’d been voting Dem for years, but my life got much harder during Biden/Harris, and I was sick of the $$ going abroad. They kept gaslighting us about Gaza, meanwhile, I’m barely making it by and wondering if I need to move. Anyway, I was actually an RFK Jr. fan — liked a number of his ideas, which led me to vote Trump for the first time. I genuinely thought he wanted to make deals and avoid war more than Kamala. CECOT disgusted me, the violations of free speech, Iran, and Epstein. The admin has been a cowardly shit show. Maybe I got played, but there’s just really no good path forward and so much corruption. So, I voted Mamdani cause idk who tf will have real courage out here."

7. "Not me, but we have a close family friend whose parents are on Medicare and are in long-term care. She also gets money from the state for taking parents to appointments, watching them, etc. It's not a lot, but enough to live. They got several letters and notifications that the program is ending in January 2026, now they are regretting voting for Trump more than they hate LGBTQ and illegals." 8. "The way Trump has been getting defensive whenever the Epstein list is mentioned makes me think he's hiding something. I can't support someone who is associated with that type of activity." [LI: So you don't mind adultery, prostitution, and grabbing women by the pussy, but you can't stand pedophilia?]

9. "I vehemently supported Trump up until about a few months ago. I was roped in with promises of cheap groceries and cost of living. I was on board with deportation and all that stuff. I was also surrounded by other Trump supporters, so I feel like that influenced me (I live in Montana). Pretty sure my doubts started creeping in during the whole ordeal with the guy being shipped off to El Salvador; it was so inhuman, and I couldn't support it. Secondly, I consider myself a Christian, and it felt so hypocritical to only show love to people who entered our country legally. What would Jesus do? I pretty much did some intense soul-searching and discovered I want nothing to do with Trump and MAGA ideals anymore. I can't feel like a good person while supporting fascism. Really wish I could've come to my senses sooner."

10. "I didn't vote for Trump in '16 or '20, but I did in 2024. I regret voting for him for several reasons. Trump once called it 'unpatriotic' to have such a large national debt, yet he pushed a budget bill through that will add $3.2 trillion annually to our already $37 trillion debt. He painted himself as an anti-war president, but bombed Iran. He continues to fund Israel and Ukraine in their wars. Hardly America First. He promised to deport illegal aliens, yet is only at a fraction of the number that Obama deported. Then, the Epstein files. He's either in them, or covering for the elites. Trump is a liar and I'm sorry I voted for him."

11. "My dad voted for him again last year. But finally, Trump happened to fuck with his business. The tariff bullshit threw everything into disarray. The business sells products manufactured in China and in Canada. The wishy-washy, ever-changing nature of the tariffs, the shifting justifications for them, and the unpredictability of it all made it impossible to plan long-term. That was enough to get my dad to hop on the internet for once and stumble upon some accurate reporting on Trump. It's been like an awakening for him."

12. "A few months ago, I began to dislike him because of his treatment of Zelenskyy. The Epstein files were the nail in the coffin. I want him impeached now." [LI: You didn't think he was impeachable when his mob stormed Congress, threatened to kill members who were certifying the elections, or when he colluded with Russia to get elected?]
