Not Enough to Ban Handful of Settlers: Declare Settler Movement Terrorist

Everyone around the world, including Israel's own American sugar daddy, agrees and has declared mutliple times over decades that the Jewish settlements in Palestine are illegal. 

It took the genocide in Gaza, perpetrated by the terrorist Settler Government of Israel, for the West to take very timid steps towards sanctioning all the illegal activities carried out by the God-crazy fundamentalist Jewish settlers in occupied Palestine, including East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Punishing a handful (28 by France, 12 by the US, 4 by the UK, with the former Nazi countries of Poland and Germany saying they are following suit) of individuals amounts to a slap in the face of international law and an affront to the Palestinians. When a Hamas fighter carries out a terrorist action, it is the entire organization that is immediately sanctioned as a terrorist organization. At least the Hamas fighter can claim to be acting to liberate his country from illegal occupation.

Then, why the double standard with the Jewish settlers? They are terrorists in several facts: They are foreigners just arriving from mostly the US, but elsewhere as well, simply because they claim to be of the Jewish faith; this is pure ultra-religious barbarity; they are illegally armed, they terrorize the civilian indigenous Palestinian villagers, they kill, they uproot olive trees, they make life for Palestinians unbearable with daily humiliations, hours at checkpoints, and huge walls of separation that make a Palestinian villager have to travel an hour to reach his fields a few meters away from his home.

The State of Israel must be given an ultimatum: either end all settlements, or be declared a terrorist state because it endorses the actions of the radical ultra-religious foreign barbarians. At the very least, the sources of funding and fund-raising organizations in the US and Europe that finance the illegal settlement activities must be prosecuted for violating international law. 

Again, the West muist comply with its own principles and laws. It cannot continue ignoring what the illegal Jewish migrants to Palestine are doing, regardless of whether they are Jews, descendants of Holocaust survivors, or simply foreign Jews who want to spend a vacation in the Jewish Disneyland that the colony of Israel is for them. This is a decisive moment for the West to make peace with the formerly colonized south and east (except Israel which is the only remaining western colony in the world today), and demonstrate its attachment to the laws and norms it established after WWII. 

Failing this, the divide between the first world and the developing world will continue to grow. Not only has the West pilfered the resources of colonized countries during colonialism, it is now taxing them with climate change and forcing them to move elsewhere in search for basic living conditions. But only blond, blue-eyed German Jews from Brooklyn, NY, are still able to play the colonial racist masters of the indigenous Palestinians and inflict on them untold atrocities.

France will ban 28 Israelis settlers accused of attacking Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

The foreign ministry said it "firmly condemned" the "unacceptable violence".

The US and UK recently took similar action, each imposing restrictions on four Israelis.

On Monday France, Poland and Germany all announced that Israelis involved in West Bank attacks would be sanctioned. Violence there has surged since Hamas's attack in southern Israel on 7 October.

"Colonisation is illegal under international law and must stop," it added.

"Its continuation is incompatible with the creation of a viable Palestinian state, which is the only solution so that Israelis and Palestinians can live, side by side, in peace and security."

"These measures come as violence perpetrated by settlers against the Palestinian population has increased in recent months", the French foreign ministry said in a statement. "In recent months"? It's been decades of illegal theft of land by the settlers AND by the Israeli government as well. Why not sanction Israel itself for violating international law? Why is Israel above the rest of us and is immune to accountability?

The statement said France would also be seeking sanctions at European level. The individuals have not been named.

On Monday, the imperial colonial crooks in the UK announced financial and travel restrictions on four "extremist" Israeli settlers. The Foreign Office said they had committed human rights abuses against Palestinians in the West Bank. Wow! What a discovery! No one knew this was taking place for decades?

At the start of the month, US President Joe Biden approved sanctions on four Israelis. Only one individual was on both the UK and US lists. Those on the US list are blocked from accessing any property or assets in the US and cannot use the country's financial system.

The White House said violence in the West Bank had reached "intolerable levels".

As of the end of January, 370 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since October 7 by Jewish settlers under the protection of the Israeli Army that carries its own killings and arbitrary arrests. 94 of those Palestinians killed are children. But there are literally thousands that have been killed or attacked BEFORE October 7.
