Cultural Enslavement: The Case of Lebanese Women

Looking at any footage on Lebanese news, one cannot help notice that virtually all the women, especially the "elite" women of the ruling class, have blond hair, fat "duck-bill" lips, protruding apples on their cheeks, and bulbous tipped (a la Angelina Jolie) noses.

Then you look at the men sitting in the same room among these women, and you'll see mostly bald, big-bellied men whose only salvation comes from their suits. Younger men may have hair on their scalps, but it is virtually always black or brown. Blond Lebanese men are extremely rare. 

So what gives? Lebanese women have an inferiority complex about their looks. They think that the typical Mediterranean look of a black-haired woman with an aquiline nose doesn't rise to the standard of the times, which is the bimbo blond look they see in American movies. They constantly inflate their lips and other facial features like their brows or their cheeks with Botox. They surgically change their noses from the universal aquiline Mediterranean nose (i.e. with a hump in the region between the tip and forehead and a slightly drooping tip) to a northern European-looking nose (i.e. with a narrow bridge, a wide-base and a tiny protruding pointing-up tip).

My own niece had a beautiful Phoenician nose. She had it surgically changed. Now she looks like a generic average dumb Barbie. Why do women do this? It's not like they are trying to "recruit" men. My niece has had the same boyfriend (a European) for more than a decade spanning before and after the nose job. He wants to marry her, but she doesn't want kids, so the boyfriend-girlfriend thing drags on while I see them both beginning to wilt into later adulthood, which means that she'll have to do more surgeries as time goes by in order to attract men she wouldn't want to date or marry.

I will not go into a discussion of other female physical attributes that they also modify, but when I see one completely "done", I feel disgust and a need to vomit. When you challenge them about why they feel compelled to do this, their answer is to blame the men: THIS (monstrosity) is what you men want. Which is nowhere near to be true. The real answer is that they want to look like those American and European women they see on screens and want to emulate.

Finally, I've also noticed that the higher the woman is on the socialite scale (newscasters, movie and song stars, politicians' wives....), the greater the magnitude of the changes. Obviously, they have the money to pay for these kinds of surgeries, as well as the huge SUVs they drive around, especially those whose husbands and boyfriends are corrupt bureaucrats that have been ripping off the Lebanese people for decades.
