Trump: Hitler Did Good Things

Ex-chief of staff says Trump praised Hitler in White House

Former President Donald Trump praised German dictator Adolf Hitler while in the White House, former chief of staff John Kelly told CNN.

Trump looks up to all authoritarian leaders. He praised Chinese leader Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the former aides said. But his most unnerving praise was for Hitler. In confidential conversations, he probably praises Ayatollah Khamenei, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Erdogan of Turkey, Egyptian dictator Sissi, Syrian dictator Assad, Israel's criminal Netanyahu, North Korea's Kim-Jong Un, Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro, and all the rest of them autocrats, dictators, tyrants and such. Why? Because he thinks of himself as a "tough guy", like all these tough guys-dictators who won't back down from killing people and crushing freedoms.

“He said, ‘Well, but Hitler did some good things.’ I said, ‘Well, what?’ And he said, ‘Well, [Hitler] rebuilt the economy.’ But what did he do with that rebuilt economy? He turned it against his own people and against the world. And I said, ‘Sir, you can never say anything good about the guy. Nothing,’” Kelly recalled, according to Sciutto. “I mean, Mussolini was a great guy in comparison.”

The numskull evangelicals of the southern united states love Trump and Israel at the same time: Trump, like them, is a Ku Klux Klan sympathizer and wouldn't mind such things as the Holocaust. In fact, these neanderthal bible-idiot evangelicals are the new face of White American nationalism and imperialism. They have been on a world conquest, proselythizing their garbage to the poor and uneducated classes of poor countries in Asia and Latin America, promising them heaven in exchange for their loyalty and submission (just like the Catholic Church used to do). The poor and uneducated people of the world are their primary targets because they'd believe any crap as long as it is accompanied by money and promises of paradise. This is how the radical ultra-religious Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia operated from the 1970s forward: Throw money every which way, as long as people built mosques in the heart of the west and opened madrassas to teach Islamic radicalism and terrorism in exchange for an express path to paradise.

This is what the radical politically-motivated Christian evangelicals have come down to: Clones of radical politically-motivated Muslim preachers. I see the followers of the evangelicals in, say, Uganda, which is one of the most backward and poor countries on earth, praying by raising their hands to the sky, led by a vitriolic preacher (paid by the Americans) who scolds them because they are "sinners" and convincing them that their salvation out of their guilt and misery can only come with submission to their American preachers. The evangelicals prey on poor nations and uneducated populations to increase their followers' numbers and, through elections, field US proxy candidates who eventually will follow US white supremacist leaders like Trump.

Catholics around the world are no better. Instead of confronting Islamic radicalism or Evangelical extremism by reinforcing the values of tolerance, democracy, and diversity, many Catholic movements are themselves falling backward into a defunct archaic form of Catholicism, the one that imitates the governance of the Roman Empire. They want mass to be said in Latin, for example. Their connections with the Italian mafia has caused several scandals in the Vatican Bank, and the principal Vatican lawyer also serves as the Mafia lawyer. The Catholic Church continues to be obssessed with sex: All its forbiddens have to do with sex and gender (no masturbation, no sex before marriage, no sex outside of marriage, no to homosexuals, no abortion, no condoms, no marriage for priests, no women priests, vows of chastity, and on and on...) all the while their closeted fornicating heterosexual, homosexual and pedophile priests have mistresses or lovers, or have their hands down the unmentionables of children.

The current right-wing wave - of all colors and relgions - that is sweeping the world is a regression for humanity. A reaction to Islamic fundamentalism should not be to erect a long-dead Christian fundamentalism or a funky Jewish fundamentalism that is precipitating the world toward anarchy and mayhem. The Islamic and Jewish worlds continue to wallow in primitive eastern religious notions. The "Christian" world had been moving away from its primitive past and had been replacing it with the humanistic values of separation of religion from the affairs of state, of individual freedoms and the absence of top-down hierarchies (Church, political parties, or otherwise) telling people what to think. But with leaders like Trump with their big ballsy and macho egos, who themselves are bigots when it comes to religious values, the "Christian" world is regressing and falling back to the level of Islamic, Jewish, Hindu and other religious fundamentalisms. Rather, and despite the setbacks, it should re-inforce the democratic values that have allowed it over the past 200 years to move forward and distance itself from the other religious bastions of intellectual brutality.

Kelly added, “It’s pretty hard to believe [Trump] missed the Holocaust, though, and pretty hard to understand how he missed the 400,000 American GIs that were killed in the European theater,” Kelly added. “But I think it’s more, again, the tough guy thing.”

It wasn’t just Hitler’s economic policies, Kelly said. Trump also expressed admiration for Hitler’s hold on senior Nazi officers as he lamented his own lack of staff “loyalty.” “He would ask about the loyalty issues and about how, when I pointed out to him the German generals as a group were not loyal to him, and in fact tried to assassinate him a few times, and he didn’t know that,” Kelly recounted. “He truly believed, when he brought us generals in, that we would be loyal — that we would do anything he wanted us to do,” Kelly added.

Former Trump national security adviser John Bolton added that Trump "views himself as a big guy.” “He likes dealing with other big guys, and big guys like Erdogan in Turkey get to put people in jail and you don’t have to ask anybody’s permission. He kind of likes that," Bolton told Sciutto.”
