Last July 18, an American woman of Palestinian heritage said that employees of Israel's flagship airline, El Al, stripped searched her after removing most of her clothes. As she was documenting her mistreatment, one of the Israeli employees snatched her cell phone from her and deleted the photos.
The US Department of Transportation says it is investigating the incident, but everyone knows that this investigation will be bogus and futile because all American institutions are automatically and blindly biased for Israel and against Palestinians, even if they are US citizens. The killing of Shireen Abu-Akleh, the US journalist killed by an Israeli terrorist, was never investigated.
The American journalist, Noor Wazwaz, was ultimately barred from boarding her El Al flight from Newark to Tel Aviv after all the humiliation. She has filed a complaint accusing El Al and the US Transportation Security Agency of discriminating against her on the basis of her Palestinian background. In the complaint, Wazwaz says she faced "serious discrimination and harassment," which included being forced to undergo "extensive and humiliating searches and questioning, unlike other passengers".
In a video she posted on X, Wazwaz said: "They are telling me that because I am Palestinian and I'm flying into Israel, I'm not allowed to take my laptop, any chargers, not even my portable charger, with me on the plane". They claim they are worried that someone packed my bag, that I wasn't the one that packed my bag."
The US journalist said she asked an El Al employee if this treatment was on account of her Palestinian background, to which the employee responded: "Yes, and you're going to places like Ramallah." She also says that the El Al employees claimed that her laptop and her shoes were flagged for potentially containing explosives. She was then taken into a room for extensive screening, which she said was run by the Israeli airline staff. They "Took off half my clothes, socks, shoes. Was thoroughly patted down. Head to toe. They swabbed my clothes, my bag, shoes, socks, literally everything".
As she was documenting the experience on her cellphone, an airline employee demanded to look at her photos and videos, snatched her cell phone from her and proceeded to delete pictures from her phone.
The American journalist said she was later rebooked onto a United Airlines flight to Israel after being denied boarding. But once in Israel, she was subjected to additional screening. "This entire experience has taken an immense toll on me," she wrote in an X post on July 18. "For hours I felt so sick, my chest was hurting and my anxiety was at an all-time high."
Remember that on El Al, racist fundamentalist Jews, just like their brethren of Muslim fundamentalist vintage, always cause trouble if they are seated next to a woman. These neanderthal primitives, chosen by God for some reason, are convinced that women are filthy and the source of all evil in this world. The Israeli flagship airline, El Al, now run under the most reprehensible right-wing extremist skullcapped terrorist government, will in all likelihood subject anyone unlike them to such discriminatory practices, people like Palestinians, women, LGBT individuals, and others.
Advice: Avoid El Al at all cost. Flying any airplane on any airline is a challenge these days, let alone an airline where everyone is ultra-religious with primitive requirements and is paranoid because of the country's repressive and hypermilitaristic posture. In fact, the airline should change its name to El Gehenom (God of Hell) instead of El Al (God of Heavens). Someone better stop exploiting God's name for their own selfish purposes.
The stolen and mass-murdered Canaanite "promised land" that the Hebrews, led by Joshua, ethnically cleansed some 3,000 years ago according to biblical garbage, has not turned out to be one of "milk and honey", but one of blood, shit and tears. Did God lie to the Hebrews? Did he change his mind and decided to punish them because they are always naughty?
If there is a God, he is urged to redress the harm done by his pet people to the Canaanites some 3,000 years ago and again to the Palestinians about 70 years ago. He shouldn't wait another 3,000 years. He is also urged to tell his chosen people that he is a born-again god who is more democratic and fair, and that he has canceled his archaic "chosen people" decision. Instead, he should replace his backward and arbitrary Bronze Age decision with a modern contest, like the Miss Universe contest, in which nations compete for the title of "Chosen Nation" on such modern criteria as decency, humane behavior, non-racism, no collective punishment, democracy, inclusivity, absence of apartheid separation walls, non-discrimination, etc. He might then regain some of His fast dwindling popularity among the human species.
He should demand that his successors of the Christian Church apologize for the heinous genocides and massacres they carried out in his name against all the indigenous native peoples of America, north and south, and against their own brethren of different sects. He should admonish the newer "evangelical" American sect and smite them because they continue tarnishing his reputation with their racism and political agendas. Just as he should tell his Muslim fans that they don't have to use violence to convert people and that they can no longer kill innocent people in his name, supposedly to earn a free pass to the resorty heaven he has opened for them, where he added virgins to the menu of the by-now-boring milk and honey. Anyone can get milk and honey from any supermarket these days, but virgins remain a rare commodity!
He should also send one of his many pet prophets and threaten El Al Airlines and His Chosen people government with apocalyptic consequences if they keep bothering, harassing and killing other people. It's about time he showed some concerns for other humans than these two Arabian desert tribes (Hebrews and Arabs). He sent Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad to rectify things, but his monotheistic fans keep wrecking the world and bothering other people. He should just tell them they are not his sole fans, and definitely not his soldiers. He should tell them he's a pacifist who no longer believes in converting people, forcibly or otherwise, from one religion to another.
Yalla, God, do something for a change. It's been thousands of years already. A few deplorables still believe your promised land fantasies of splitting oceans and raining frogs, or your prestidigitative trickster Jesus as your sacrificial son, or Muhammad as the last of your long procession of soothsayers, diviners and fortune tellers. Send more believable messengers who are cooler, more 21st-century-minded and preferably equipped with smart phones - beards, robes, staffs and unintelligible harangues are dépassé - so there is a better chance that modern humans believe them, but that has always been a problem: Your own Mark and Luke said it, "No prophet is acceptable in his own country". Your Bronze Age fairy chronicles (Torah, Old Testament, New Testament, Qur'an etc.) no longer apply, though some neanderthals still take them literally. Do a restructuring and a reorganization of your enterprise, name younger and more modern leadership. It's about time. The fate of humanity is again in your hands.
