"Moderate" Jews vs. "Radical" Settler Terrorists: Really?

View the following video for background:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the decades past, official Muslimhood made the claim that it rejects violence and the killing of innocent people. "We are a religion of peace", the moderate more-or-less practicing Muslims whose holy book the Koran contains many contradictions. In some passages it urges the faithful to show mercy and compassion and condemns killing. But in other passages, it incites the faithful to kill the unfaithful.

All religious texts do this, but none more so that the Jewish bible and its associated teachings in the Talmud, and the Muslim Koran and its associated Hadith teachings.

While the Jewish Bible is a barbaric Bronze Age fictional account that was written over centuries and millennia by different people in different places and has no internal coherence, the Muslim Koran has suffered less from the vicissitudes of time and many imaginative authors. In fact, the Jewish Bible often tells us what God (whose name changed over time from El and Baal to Yahweh and God) did and said to His many prophets who talk back to him and argue with him, the Koran is claimed to be simply the very word of God (Allah in Arabic). In the Koran, it is God speaking throughout the text, though any reasonable person must admit that someone, a human being, must have written down the stuff.

Strict followers of both religions take the text literally, i.e. out of its Bronze and Stone Ages context, and generalize it and apply it to our time.

Muslim moderates circumvent the parts where violence is expressly urged by God against the enemies of Islam by saying that it is taken out of context. Yet the West has always criticized the so-called moderates for providing a safe environment for the extremists, a sort of incubator that shielded the extremists against criticism and condemnation.

Same thing with Judaism, except that the West does not dare level that kind of criticism against the Chosen Ones lest it be accused of antisemitism. There are "moderate" Jews and Israelis, some might say they are secular and not praticing Jews, and they too provide a safe environment for the extremists to flourish and spew their hatred and violence. This is nowhere more obvious than how "moderate" Israelis of Tel Aviv deal with the "extremist" terrorist settlers in Palestine west of the Jordan River.

For decades, fanatic Jewish terrorists, followers of such racist Fascists as Meir Kahane and others, have had a free hand in stealing Palestinian land, terrorizing and killing Palestinian villagers, often under the protection of the Israeli army of occupation, the self-labeled "most moral army in the world". We've witnessed so many instances of these Jewish terrorists killing Palestinians, burning olive orchards, destroying property, forbidding Palestinian peasants from reaching their lands to cultivate them.... We've also witnessed radical terrorist Jews storming mosques and massacring dozens of people.

Yet, "moderate" and "democratic" Israel has a blatant double standard. A Palestinian youth who throws a rock on an Israeli occupation military patrol is sent to jail by "moderate" Israelis hiding behind a facade of a respectable judiciary for several years and his parents' home is demolished, even though under international law an occupation army has no right doing so. The right to resist and fight occupation is enshrined in every human rights charter.

But a Jewish settler youth who kills a Palestinian man for no reason other than an extremist interpretation of the bible may spend a night in jail - photos of them show them smiling in the loose custody of Israeli officials - and is released within days or at most weeks. So the "moderate" Israeli Jews are really not that moderate. They back the settler movement because, despite appearances of civilized conduct and legal bureaucracy including the Israeli court system, all Israelis - moderates or otherwise - share the objective of expelling all Palestinians from their ancestral lands to create a pure supremacist Jewish state.

When the "secular moderates" of Israel were protesting for months against Benyamin Netanyahu, the war criminal prime minister of Israel, they never - not once - made the connection with the brutal occupation of Palestine. These Israelis, half of whom hail from the US and Europe and carry dual citizenship - and I've spoken to many of them in the US - see Israel as a secondary vacation place, a timeshare if you will, a Jewish resort by the Mediterranean, and couldn't care less for human rights and international law. Right now, many of them are considering moving for good out of the Jewish resort and back to New York and Florida.

In their not-so-innocent attitude vis-a-vis the Palestinians (whose parents and grandparents were ethnically cleansed by the parents and grandparents of today's Israelis), the "moderate" Israelis have deliberately infected themselves with an amnesia bug. The story of Tantura, as told by one of these apparently repentant moderate Israelis, is a tell-tale of how the founding of the state of Israel was a gigantic campaign of ethnic cleansing, with much raping, killing, looting and plunder by illegal european migrants to Palestine:

And now after the Hamas attacks of October 7, they are beginning to make the connection between who they think they are (secular, moderate, modern) and who they really are (accomplices or pawns in the greatest barbaric religious tragedy of the 20th century, the rape of Palestine). Will they do something against the settlers before it is too late? Will they try to salvage their resort colony of Israel by accepting that the Palestinians have inherent rights that are higher than their own rights, simply because the Palestinians are the authentic and historic owners of the land? Can Israel show compassion, mercy, gratitude for what the Palestinians have reluctantly given them by losing part of their land so that European-persecuted Jews can live among their fellow Semites? Is there a speck of humanity left in these "secular and moderate" Jews that might prod them to act against the calamitous project of the extremist Jewish settler terrorists ?
