Trump's growing old and becoming limited in his body and mind is making him more desperate. The ultra-narcissist that he is cannot bear to accept mortality. In the face of such an inexorable decline, narcissists become more emboldened, enraged and therefore dangerous, esepcially if they hold the reins of power.
Trump is actually admitting that he is "infallible" when he says that the only thing that keeps him under check is “my own morality.” But Trump has no morality, we all know that. He abides by no code, norm, law or principle, except money.
“Do you see any checks on your power on the world stage?” a New York Times reporter asked Trump. “Is there anything that could stop you if you wanted to?” “Yeah, there’s one thing,” the jackass replied. “My own morality, my own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop it. And that’s very good. I don’t need international law.” He doesn't care for any law in fact.
His raid in Venezuela and abduction of Nicolas Maduro are controversial not because Maduro is a bad ruthless dictator. They are bad because they violate the law. If the low quality of a country's ruler is tye sole criterion for raping that country, then Trump should raid Bejing and kidnap Xi Jinping, the leader of the largest, vilest Communist human rights abusing country. Same thing with Russia. But cretin cowardly criminals like Trump go only after easy, "disposable" targets. He wouldn't dare do to China or Russia what he did to Venezuela.
Then again, the desperation of an aging increasingly senile old man is making him accelerate his execution of violent policies. He's gone completely off the tracks because he no longer sees a destination at the end of his journey, other than rot somewhere in a wheelchair surrounded by nurses and diaper changers. The man-child has no time, and soon no brains, left to "accomplish" the greatness he sees in himself.
He wants to steal Greenland from the European Union, our ally and fellow NATO member Denmark, “whether they like it or not.” No wonder he and Netanyahu and the criminal Zionists get along so well. The Zionists want Palestine, whether the Palestinia s like it or not". Any jerk can come up with million pretexts for acting illegally and immorally, but these are only pretexts, not substantive reasons, that do not stand the scrutiny of what is right. The law of the jungle - might makes right - has accompanied humanity for thousands of years. It still operates today in our enlightened present. But it is still understood as an immoral approach to human relationships.
That is why and how this jackass administration claims that "the courts trying to stop him are illegitimate authorities or usurping his power", according to CNN's Maggie Haberman who adds, “We are clearly seeing him flex, and he is emboldened in a way I don’t think we’ve ever seen before. But where that leads remains to be seen.”
This year, 2026, will see Trump's dementia accelerate exponentially, and with it his insane policies. In a feedback loop, the more he is demented, the more vile and illegal will be his policies, which in turn reinforces the demented "grandeur" he believes he embodies, and on and on. The November congressional elections might - just might - slam some brakes on his uncontrolled political diarrhea, assuming a tiny chunk of the morons who voted for him have regained their senses.
