Jews "Conflicted" about Israel's Genocide in Palestine are Hypocrites

How could they not have known that Israel doesn't seek peace with the indigenous people it expelled and ethnically cleansed from their native lands?

How can they now claim they didn't know that Zionists want ALL of Palestine and have never been interested in peaceful coexistence?

How can they claim now that they never heard the Palestinians' cries of despair, destitution, dispossession, displacement, and lives under a brutal foreign occupation?

Did they really need to see emaciated starving Palestinian children, who look no different from the emaciated starving concentration camp victims, to realize what has been going on in Palestine for a century?

It is very convenient now, when it is almost too late, to claim to have some humanity in the face of the extermination of an entire population and the theft of its land and country.

Just like the English colonial crooks who manufactured all this tragedy, and only now, one hundred years after they themselves unleashed the barbaric Zionist invasion and ethnic cleansing of Palestine (culminating in the Nakba of 1948) do we have the English prime minister Keith Starmer threatening Israel with recognizing a Palestinian state IF AND ONLY IF Israel does not stop its starvation of Palestinian children.

In other words, Palestine is not a position of principle for the UK's Prime Crook, Keith Starmer. If the war criminal Netanyahu allows a few trucks into Gaza, Keith Starmer will NOT recognize Palestine to reward Netanyahu.

The criminality of the Zionist regime has been obvious for decades. It is sad that acts of legitimate resistance against a foreign occupier have been branded "terrorism". But unfortunately, when people are pushed into a corner where they face two options, death or death, they are likely to act in desperation and violence.

It is sad to admit that Hamas has indeed won this war. The whole world now knows the cause of Palestine. The whole world now knows the colonial history of the Israeli entreprise. The whole world now knows that Palestinians have always been the victims, and that they are much more than a bunch of raggedy refugees. Even if Hamas is utterly destroyed as Netanyahu's claimed objective is, Israel has lost because Palestine is now an unavoidable reality staring at us in the face, and all those who contributed to the tragedy of one victimized people being given a license to victimize another innocent people have to now reckon whith what they've done to Palestine.

Yes, what is going on Palestine is not occuring in a vacuum: It has a long history of the extermination of one people anf the theft of its land. Everything else is a smokescreen to cover up for the crime.

Jon Stewart Reveals What His Jewish Upbringing Teaches Him About Israel's War On Gaza

Jon Stewart

“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart on Monday explained why he’s felt “like a crazy person” as he witnesses the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip amid Israel’s war on the besieged territory.

“I feel like I’m watching something that is so self-evidently inhumane and horrific and to be told that I have to shut up because I risk the Jewish state by speaking out? I would say the opposite,” said Stewart in an interview with Jewish Currents editor-at-large Peter Beinart.

“I think they’re putting the likelihood of a surviving Jewish state much more at risk with this type of action. I think they’re the ones being [antisemitic] ... [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, with the definition of antisemitism, would probably have to bomb himself.”

Stewart, whose family is Ashkenazi Jewish, said he learned from Judaism that Jewish people are the “underdog” and said he’s “always looked at the chosen people as kind of awry.”

Stewart stressed that he knows what he’s seeing in Gaza, where experts have flagged a “worst-case scenario of famine” occurring despite Israeli leaders like Netanyahu claiming that “no starvation” is taking place there.

“And I have a moral clarity about what I’m seeing,” Stewart told Beinart, who was on the “Daily Show” to promote his new book “Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza: A Reckoning.”

“And what I’m seeing, I think — as someone who was raised in Judaism — that’s what taught me that this is wrong. What I’m seeing happening in Gaza is wrong,” Stewart said.

Stewart’s interview with Beinart arrived on the same day that two major Israeli human rights groups concluded in separate reports that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

Earlier in the segment, Stewart — who has covered the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a number of times on his show — took aim at those who “yell” at him and call him a “bad Jew” over his comments on the war.

“Apparently you can lose points,” Stewart quipped.
