Something radical is happening in the relationship between the former white colonizers of this world and their former colonized "savage" people of the global south. It's an inversion of sorts. Ever since the "discovery" of the New World and well into the early 20th century, the white man believed he was changing the world with industry and science, abandoning ignorant religious beliefs, spreading ideals of democracy and human rights, and exporting civilization by force of occupation and submission to those lesser humans, the savages as it were, in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The white man's burden was to lift all these barbarians out of their ignorance and animalistic traditions into a state of civilization that the white man himself had defined. That is why the political and religious arms of the colonizers - in places like Canada, the US, Australia, and other colonies in Africa, Asia, and the Americas - kidnapped native, aborigenes and indigenous children, separated them from their families, placed them in educational concentration camps to educate them a la White Man's fashion and shield them away from the pernicious traditions of their ancestral past. Some even went so far as to forcibly breed white men with indigenous women to "dilute" the backward genetic pool of the native population and "improve" it by mixing it with white blood.
Then decolonization happened, virtually everywhere around the globe. One exception remains: the European Jewish colonial settlers in Palestine, in the faithful footsteps of their German Nazi countrymen, continue to claim to bring civilization to the Middle East and civilize those human animals known as the indigenous Palestinians by killing them, demolishing their homes and villages, starving and expelling them, and by such other refined methods long tested by numerous "civilizing" generations of white Europeans and their descendants in North and South America, Australia, South Africa and elsewhere.
But, as the colonized savages "evolved" and became more like their white colonizers, the latter began experiencing a remorseful attachment to their own creation, like artists who fall in love with their oeuvre (see Pedro Almodovar's La Piel Que Habito). Now that hordes of Indians, Pakistanis, and many English-brutalized African colonies became citizens of the Empire, now that African, sub-Saharan African, and former Indochinese savages became citizens of the French Empire, now that every former Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian colonizer had to accept as equals millions of their "citizens" in every far corner of the globe, a tsunami began building.
Not only was there a realization by the whites of their own savagery and hypocrisy, but an osmosis of sorts began happening between the colonizer and the colonizer now living on the same soil. The more emancipated and white-like those former colonized citizens became, the more diffuse the civilizing pressure peeled off the white man's burden. The whites no longer felt the compulsion of their own greatness and the urge to impart it on their former colonized citizens. As they relaxed and tore down the high walls of their own civilized fortresses, they began accepting as equally valid to their own barbarian religious and cultural beliefs the otherwise ancient beliefs and traditions they initially labeled as savage and uncivilized.
Now, not quite 100 years yet in the decolonization process, the white former colonizers seem to have been liberated from the constraints of their own supremacist ideologies. They are displaying behaviors and holding beliefs that are a major departure from those rational foundations their ancestors had established during the Age of Discovery, the Age of Reason, the Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution. In parallel, the former colonized dark savages have risen in direct proportion to the decline of the white savages, and are increasingly becoming the intellectual leaders and rulers, while the former colonizer whites are regressing into a state of ignorance, mediocrity and backwardness. That has always been a process in history: The ruler relaxes and weakens after conquering the ruled who, having now learned the hard way, turns around and becomes the ruler. The slaves and the persecuted rebels and take power. It happened in Egypt (Mamluks), in the Ottoman Empire (Janissaries), in the Nordic invasions (Vikings, Norsemen...) of the southern european territories, in the Roman empire, etc.
Which explains why, as I watch the faces of those presenting the news on such august former imperial colonizing media platforms (BBC, Sky, RFI, VOA, and others), I see how the tables have turned. When I hear the absurd conspiracist rantings of comatose white politicians and pundits, I see the decline of those who once promoted reason and science to their former slaves, while the descendants of those slaves are slowly winning the war after losing many battles, by adopting the rationality of their former tormentors.
The most telling example of this inversion is the many white American holdouts against the sweeping change in the country's demographics and political outlook. The Americans are always the last among their white Euuropean peers to accept change. In their self-ingratiating and stuffed up machismo they know the end of their entitlements has begun, but they reject it in an instinctive, irrational, almost animalistic, manner. They resort to those misconstrued ideas and asinine beliefs they had earlier mocked in the former slaves, because they have regressed so much in the lazy comfort of their delusional superiority. They cannot understand, let alone accept, that the reason that made them great no longer serves them. They have lost their references, their compasses, and the foundations on which they had built their racism and supremacy. The "enemy", the "other", the "savage" is not what they thought him to be; he is even better than them and is now elbowing them out of the towers of power. So they lash out and fall back into the very same abjection they had haughtily looked down on for so long.

Fucker Carlson Goes Full Crazy With Rant on Demons and Nuclear Bombs
In a preelection interview with Steve Bannon Monday, Tucker Carlson decided to broach the very pertinent topic of how nuclear technology has demonic origins.
Talking on Bannon’s show War Room on Real America’s Voice, Carlson and Bannon discussed how America seemed to take a turn for the worse after the development and use of the atomic bomb in World War II. But then, Carlson went on to say it was “obviously” not “human forces” who created the nuclear bomb.
“I’ve never met a person who can isolate the moment where nuclear technology became known to man. And so where did it come from, exactly? Oh, German scientists in the ’30s. Really? When, name the date. And I’ve never heard anybody do that,” Carlson said.
“It’s very clear to me that these are demonic, I mean these are evil. Their only purpose is to destroy the innocent,” the conservative pundit told Bannon.

There’s a lot to unpack in Carlson’s words, but at the very least, we do know when “nuclear technology” became known to man. A simple Google search would tell Carlson, or anyone else, that English physicist John Cockroft and the Irish physicist Ernest Walton first produced nuclear transformations in 1932 and that in the next few years, scientists Irene Curie, Frederic Joliot, and Enrico Fermi progressed the science further.
Nuclear fission itself was discovered by Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassmann in Berlin, working under Niels Bohr, in late 1938, which would spark massive developments in nuclear science in the next year. In a matter of minutes, it’s pretty easy to find a timeline disproving Carlson’s contention that people don’t know when nuclear technology was discovered.
Carlson did not acquit himself well in the rest of the interview, claiming that increased hurricanes were not the result of global warming but were “probably abortion, actually.”
“People are like, ‘Oh, well, we had another hurricane, it must be global warming.’ No! It’s probably abortion, actually. Just being honest. You can’t kill children on purpose, knowing that you’re doing that in exchange for power, or freedom, or happiness. Whatever you think you’re getting in return, you can’t participate in human sacrifice without consequences,” Carlson said.

While some far-right Republicans, led by the [nutcase] Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, came up with a left-wing, antisemitic conspiracy theory that the government controls the weather when hurricanes struck the southeastern U.S. last month, [or her charge that Jewish aliens are beaming lasers on earth], Carlson’s comments have broached a weird brand of theology. It’s a window into how some on the right see apocalyptic, earth-ending machinations in today’s politics and also begs the question of why pundits like Carlson are ever taken seriously.
