Syrian Enemy kidnaps and Kills Lebanese Fishermen in North Lebanon: Where is the Government of Sleiman, Miqati and Berri?

Al-Aarida, north Lebanon.

Residents of the fishing village of al-Aarida in northern Lebanon, just south of the Syrian-Lebanese border, reported Saturday that a vessel belonging to the enemy Syrian navy forces crossed into Lebanese waters and intercepted a fishing boat owned by two Lebanese fishermen. The fishermen and a young child who was with them were then kidnapped, along with their boat, across the border into Syria. It was later reported that one of the fishermen died in the custody of the Syrian navy force.

The state of lawlessness along the northern Syrian-Lebanese border has been endemic for decades, with the Syrian enemy regime smuggling terrorists and weapons into Lebanon and providing support to a horde of terror organizations operating from Lebanon, led by the notorious gang of the Iranian Hezbollah mercenaries.

In recent months, the uprising - Intifada - by the valiant Syrian people against the Baath dictatorship of Bashar Assad, has led thousands of Syrian civilians to escape into Lebanon for protection against the massacres, kidnappings, torture, and arbitrary killings of civilians by the Syrian regime's multitude of security services and agencies. The "ShabbiHa" - Arabic for "Hoodlums" - are the most vicious killers of the regime, roaming around the towns and cities of Syria and repressing in the most violent ways the Syrian population. There have been reports of mass killings, rapes and child killings, as well as extra-territorial kidnappings outside Syria and inside Lebanon itself, of anyone remotely associated with criticizing the Syrian regime.

What has the puppet Lebanese government of asshole president Michel Sleiman, jackass prime minister Najib Miqati, and warlord speaker Nabih Berri, done to face up to that situation? To say that it has done nothing would be simply too lenient a judgment, because the Lebanese puppet regime has in fact supported the Syrian dictatorship in its repression of its people. At the UN, at the Lebanese Foreign Ministry andin every Lebanese government position and policy, the attitude of the Lebanese puppet regime has been to defend the Syrian regime and protect it in its mass killing of its own people.

When Israeli forces in the south kidnap a Lebanese shepherd who ventures into Israeli territory, they release him unharmed within 24 hours after checking that he is not part of the terrorist Hezbollah organization, and in coordination with the UNIFIL forces that control the south. But, the Lebanese puppet regime cries foul and lodges complaints at the UN, claiming that Israel is violating UN resolution 1701, and making a big fuss about nothing.

But when Syrian forces in the north kidnap Lebanese fishermen, or enter Lebanese territory to hunt down and kill fleeing Syrian refugees, or shoot across the border at Lebanese villages who were helping injured Syrian refugees.... what does the Lebanese puppet regime do? NOTHING. Silence.

In the south, the Lebanese puppet regime allows the Iranian terrorist organization to stock up weapons of mass murder. It allows Syrian Palestinian terror organizations to operate unhindered in the south, regularly firing missiles across the border into northern Israel and bringing the situation every time close to outright war. It constantly begs the world for help instituting security in the south of the country because it itself - the Lebanese regime - refuses to take control of its own land and exercise its sovereignty by dispatching serious numbers of its own army, and so relying like beggars at the UN on UNIFIL forces and money from Western and Arab sources. Even as it sinks in its own excrement, the Lebanese regime also claims - unlike any other Arab country - to want to liberate the south (from an non-existing occupation) and even liberate Palestine on behalf of the Palestinians themselves who, in fact, are negotiating peace with Israel.

In sum, the Lebanese regime operates like a serf to the Syrian regime. It is willing to destroy Lebanon and the Lebanese people in order to give the Syrian regime the merit for "resisting Israel". The Lebanese regime has surrendered its sovereign rights to another country, and operates only as a puppet, a vassal, a subsidiary of that other country.

The Lebanese regime refuses to send the Lebanese army to the northern border with Syria, where it is much needed to:
- Protect Syrian refugees escaping the Baath Party killing fields of the Assad regime.
- Protect Lebanese border villages and towns against Syrian enemy armed forces incursions.
- Stop any smuggling of weapons and terrorists across the border.

But, again, the Lebanese government of asshole president Michel Sleiman, jackass prime minister Najib Miqati, and warlord speaker Nabih Berri, as well as their horde of supporters like Michel Aoun and his poddles (Gebran Bassil, Farid Al-Khazen, Ibrahim Kanaan, Alain Aoun, etc.), Hassan Nasrallah, Walid Jumblatt, Wiam Wahhab, etc... have not only remained silent, but have defended and encouraged the Syain regime to continue on the path of violence in Syria, and on violating Lebanese sovereignty every step of the way.

How can the Lebanese people accept this state of affairs? What kind of country is Lebanon when it cannot exercise the implements of sovereignty, if not in action (because of its size and weakness) then at least in principle by voicing and expressing its claims.

Criminal Syria returns body of murdered Lebanese boy:

A funeral procession was held in al-Aarida (north Lebanon) for Maher Hamad who was murdered yesterday by enemy Syrian naval forces. The funeral made its way from his house in Al-Aarida towards the Lebanese-Syrian border, where mourners pelted Syrian troops on the other side with stones and chanted "Death to Syria. Death to the Baath. Down with the Syrian enemy."

The enemy Syrian regime on Saturday returned the body of the Lebanese boy who was murdered in cold blood, and his two uncles were released after they were kidnapped from their fishing boat by an enemy Syria naval force.

"There is no God but God, Bashar al-Assad is the enemy of God," they chanted, referring to the Syrian president who has faced 10 months of anti-regime protests.

Fadi Hamad, who was handed over to Lebanese authorities overnight with his brother Khaled and the body of their nephew, recounted what he said was the boy's death at the hands of Syrian troops.

"We had cast our nets the night before and early Saturday morning we headed out to pull them in," Hamad, 36, told AFP.

"We then saw a boat pulling up to us and urged it to move back as they were nearing our net," he added.

"They disappeared briefly and then came back, and when they were near enough I could see about six armed men in the boat. We were terrified. They opened fire and both Maher and my brother were injured. Maher screamed."

The gunmen then forced the three fishermen into Syria, where Maher died of his wounds, he said.

Hamad said he was taken to a military intelligence center in the Syrian coastal town of Tartous where he was beaten and interrogated on whether he was an arms smuggler.

"I was asked repeatedly whether the arms were coming from [former premier] Saad Hariri," head of Lebanon’s pro-Western March 14 coalition, he said.

"I told them I was a fisherman... but they kept hitting me, and my hands were tied. About an hour later, I was told there had been a mistake and President Assad wanted to forgive me. I was also informed my nephew was dead."

Syria's state-run news agency SANA, meanwhile, reported that a patrol had caught three Lebanese who were attempting to enter Syrian waters for "smuggling activities".

The response of the Syrian puppet regime of asshole President Michel Sleiman in Beirut condemned the incident, but refused to lodge a complaint at the United Nations for Syria's violation of Lebanese sovereignty. The killing of the boy has sparked protests in Al-Aarida.
