He said that he fears that the ongoing revolutions in the region will lead to a situation where... "governments will be established that offer their citizens some freedoms, but which do not threaten Israel’s security."

Which means that, in the Shit-head brain of this Shiite monster warlord from the 1970s, whose hands are soaked with the blood of fellow Lebanese Shiites, fellow Lebanese Christians, and Palestinian refugees, THE FREEDOMS DEMANDED BY MILLIONS OF ARABS IN THE ONGOING ARAB SPRING REVOLUTIONS WILL DIMINISH THE THREAT AGAINST ISRAEL, AND MUST NOT BE PURSUED. And therefore, these revolutions must not go forward.

Berri to discuss oil, maritime border with UN chief

January 9, 2012 

Nabih Berri said that the first thing he will discuss with Ban Ki-Moon during the latter’s visit to Lebanon is Lebanon’s offshore oil and maritime border demarcation.
“The government is committed to finish with the subcontracting issue before March 31,” Berri is quoted as saying.

Berri also said that it is important for Lebanon to disassociate itself from what is happening in surrounding countries.
He added he fears that governments will be established that offer their citizens some freedoms, but which do not threaten Israel’s security.

Meanwhile, the UN estimated in December that more than 5,000 people have been killed in Syria since pro-democracy protests against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad erupted last March.
