The Syrian dick-tator Bashar a-Assad was pontificating to imbecile Seymour Hersh about how the Lebanese political system is so bad... implying that his own Baathist Nazi-style dick-tatorship, under the guidance of Bitchin-Ugly-Chief Buthaina Shaaban would be a better option for Lebanon.... But that is the least of what this smart ass was saying.
Listen to how this "pulsating dick of the Arab World", full and engorged with "Sumud and Tassadi" and resisting all manner of imperialism, colonialism, Zionism, isolationism...for the greater good of the glorious Arab-fucker Nation, is actually a CIA Collaborator, delivering people he wants to get rid of to US and British intelligence. In other words, Assad sends total innocent numskulls his security services pick up on the streets, or annoying political dissidents, to be tortured by naive and credulous American and British intelligence... only to be praised by cretins like Seymour Hersh or by bleeding heart liberals as "cooperating" with the West on terrorism, while he continues to wreak havoc in places like Lebanon and Gaza with terrorists, weapons, destabilization galore.... We all know how this scheme has worked so well for more than 40 years: The Assads' regime is one of the strongest in the Middle East (protected by a colluding West and Israel), yet every place around Syria remains at war...
Note also that for domestic consumption, Dick Bashar does not want his Syrian people to know that he is collaborating with the CIA...
Excerpt from Seymour Hersh's interview of the Dick in Damascus:
-------
Assad's interviewer, Seymour Hersh, said that a Syrian official had told him last year that Syria agreed last year to renew sharing of intelligence on terrorism with the C.I.A. and with Britain's MI6, after a request from U.S. President Barack Obama that was relayed by his Middle East envoy George Mitchell. He added that the Syrian president confirmed he had agreed to do so.

However, Hersh added that the transcript of his interview with Assad, provided by Syrian president's office, was "generally accurate" but it did not include the exchange they had about intelligence.
