الهبل الكبير: الجنرال الرئيس ميشال الثاني سليمان العظيم
Suleiman the Magnificent of Lebanon was pontificating yesterday, in Moscow no less, about how Lebanon is a sovereign state. That is news for most Lebanese, who know that they are back under Syria's tutelage and who live under the boot of the Iranian terrorist organization Hezbollah. The Lebanese also know that Suleiman the Magnificent in Baabda is a man with no balls who continues to sell his country and his principles to Iran and Syria because he is afraid of them.
The interesting thing about Suleiman the Magnificent is that he is everything to everyone. A few weeks back he was in Washington singing the similarity of Lebanon and the United States, and begging for weapons from the American friends of Suleiman's "enemy" Israel ...to give to Hezbollah and fight the Israelis.... The man is a genius in his own way. Sometimes the extremes meet: The more Suleiman proves his stupidity, the more people think he is onto something grand...
Between his Maronite peasant background, his military training, his serving the Syrians as Army Chief appointed by the Syrian occupation, and then his "ascent" to the presidential throne as a "consensus" President (i.e. he is at the same time a ball-less nothing, AND, he is everything to everyone), the man is at the zenith of his splendor. General De Gaulle's comment about Gamal Abdel Nasser: He wants to fart higher than his asshole - seems very pertinent to Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent. He is a president, he is a maronite, he is pro-sunni, pro-Shiite, pro-resistance, pro-dialogue, pro-collaborating with foreign countries at the expense of his own country, pro-American, pro-French, pro-prostituting his principles to go nowhere, etc.... The only thing he is against: Israel. Like all Arab dictators and leaders, they starve their people of real governance and real services, but feed them anti-Zionist and anti-Israel rhetoric. Anti-Zionist and anti-Israel rhetoric is cheap and easy: The only people to blame you for it are the ISraelis themselves. And you gain the favors of the other Arab dictators and mercenaries who run like their countries like their own private farms....
One other thing that is a mystery in Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent is the whereabouts of his sperm. We know he has no balls, but whether he fathered a sperm candidate for future glories in the Lebanese political pantheon is not known. Is he grooming a successor a la libanaise, namely to lay an egg and out comes the next generation of Suleimans the Magnificents? Everybody hopes so, except of course the "Enemy" Israel. The Israelis are so terrified at Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent that they pray there is no Michel III Suleiman to follow in his father's footsteps.
--------------------------------
Here are some facts about this Syrian President of Lebanon:
- Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent was appointed by the Syrians as commander of the Lebanese Army in 1998.
- Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent was the head of the army when many Lebanese were tortured by the Army to “confess” to whatever his Syrian bosses wanted them to confess.
- Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent is directly and intimately connected to the Syrian regime: He is married to Wafaa Kuriyyeh, a Syrian national, and his brother in law, Gebran Kuriyyeh was the official spokesman of the dictator Hafez Assad, father of the current Syrian president Basher Assad.
- Finally, Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent defended Syrian connection with Fatah al Islam , claiming that the terrorist organization was part of Al Qaida, this is despite the confessions of the jailed Fatah al Islam terrorists about their links to Syria.
Come to think of it:
- Lebanon's President Michel II Suleiman the Magnificent is SYRIAN
- Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri is SAUDI
- Lebanon's Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri is half-IRANIAN, half-AMERICAN
And the Lebanese wonder why their country is manipulated all the time by outsiders. WHY CAN'T THE COUNTRY HAVE LEBANESE RULERS?

Suleiman: Lebanon a Sovereign State … Not an Arena
President Michel Suleiman on Friday stressed that Lebanon has become a sovereign state rather than an arena for regional conflicts, adding that the national dialogue table will convene soon to discuss the pending issues.
In an interview with Russia Today TV network, Suleiman said Israeli threats aim at avoiding international pressure to resume the peace process.
"It is trying to blow out of proportion the alleged threats coming from Lebanon, Syria, Iran, or any place in the world so that it says it cannot pursue the peace process and give the Palestinians their rights in land and nationality."
Answering a question about the phone call he received from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Suleiman said: "This is a normal thing, and it took place after the intense Israeli threats against Lebanon … Israel threatened the government and its public administrations, the thing that prompted Ahmadinejad to phone the president of Lebanon to tell him: We're ready to help you and stand by you in case you were attacked."
On the other hand, Suleiman noted that "the national dialogue table will convene soon to discuss the national defensive strategy," stressing that "everything the Lebanese yearn for can be solved at the dialogue table and within the Lebanese interior, because gone is the time when things used to be solved outside Lebanon."
Suleiman returned Friday afternoon to Beirut concluding a 2-day official visit to Moscow, the first ever visit by a Lebanese head of state to Russia.
