The Arab League minus Syria met and decided to send a delegation to mediate in Beirut. The delegation comprises Qatar, Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti (I never thought that this latter, another finch's asshole of a country - the other being Lebanon - is a member of the Arab Cesspool League, but hey, any jackass who speaks some form of degenerate Arabic is eligible to join this ineffectual amalgam of corrupt useless body).
The Lebanese, who always gripe about the "Israeli enemy" and the "Israeli occupation" of the Shebaa Arse in the south of Lebanon, especially Hassan Ali Baba Nasrallah, Fuad Idiot Siniora, presidential candidate du jour General Michel Baathi Suleiman, and others who can't blather the anti-Israeli verbal diarrhea from their mouths fast enough, should object to the composition of that august delegation: Egypt has diplomatic relations with Israel and is therefore part and parcel of the Zionist entity, while the Qatari numskull has been having an adulterous affair with the Israelis, and therefore both are in violation of the Lebanese law that prohibits anyone from "dealing with the enemy".
There are literally thousands of Lebanese people who have been killed, sentenced, exiled, jailed, harassed, etc..., including several thousand refugees who fled Hezbollah's daggers and pitchforks in 2000 into Israel, on the charge of "dealing with the enemy".
Why the double standard? Why can Amr Moussa, the beggar from Cairo, entertain diplomatic relations with the enemy and visit Lebanon freely on one hand, and thousands of ordinary Lebanese villagers from the south (both Shiite and Christians, mind you, since hatred for the enemy transcends sectarian lines) cannot go back to their homes because Hezbollah's decades-long blockade of the villagers forced the latter to seek food, schools, hospitals, work and daily livelihood in neighboring Israel? Also, let us not forget that when Hariri and Siniora were kissing the behinds of Hafez, then Bashar, Assad during the 1990s and early 2000s, those villagers were anti-Syrian. Today, Siniora and Hariri are also anti-Syrian, so why won't they let those Lebanese patriots return home?
